It's not out yet, log beta version should be out early this month and no-log beta version is said to be out late Sep here in China. I believe they're still verifying users qualified for the beta test since I haven't got news if anyone has passed it.

Did you try with a Huawei account not linked to Google, that was the issue for me
I created a new one and I was able to connect into the bate app

Exactly the same, but in the UK. Asked an honor guy, basically the spaces are limited to 100 per country, and they were snapped up way before all of the articles about it came out, so... You can buy your way in via funky huawei, but frankly it's going to be costly just to get onto a beta, that you won't even be able to help debug...

This is a beta tho according to the poster.
I just got a 58.3 mb update saying may security update, but I already had may update?
I just had an update but not to 8.1 I guess it is for the issues that the May patch has caused.
9.5.11 full package is available on official download, just Google for MIUI firmware Mi A1.
Nevermind, that's still 8.0. Shouldn't be long until 8.1 full firmware goes live at en.miui.com.

Update to android pie for vivo nex has officially started, but not as OTA, but you have to carry your phone to your nearest service centre, also the will be giving a free phone back cover and change your screen guard as part of the update.
They didn't give me cover or screen guard.

I beleive you can go to Oppo Website Italy and download the update ROM from there... Try it
Ain't working for me either. Latest ROM available on the Italian Oppo website is the August one, so that's to no avail, too.

Try your luck with South East Asia, I am in Singapore at the moment and the recent updates have been quite timely. I think oppo still needs to improve getting software updates faster to the western markets.
Firmware A40 now available for download via VPN ( Switzerland worked for me)
