Bluetooth Static in Vehicle - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Questions & Answers

Has anyone noticed any static or interference when using Bluetooth Audio in a car or anywhere else for that matter?
I use my phone in a Lexus IS and it seems to work fine, but I tried it in a newer Lexus vehicle and the static/interference was so bad it was almost enough to make me want to turn it off.
Phone was not plugged into the car or anything.

[Q] How to trigger Car Dock mode?

With my Samsung Captivate, simply using their car power adapter triggers car dock mode. This doesn't seem to work with SR. Anyone has any clue on how to trigger car dock mode? I'm looking for this as I had my Captivate programmed to do certain thing when in the car via Tasker. Now, the only way for me to do this is to always turn on bluetooth when powered to see if it connects to my car's handfree kit. So bluetooth is turned on even when at home or work. Not very desirable. So it would be great if something can trigger the car dock mode.

Bluetooth audio skipping issues when also paired with phone

So I use bluetooth for both phone and music in my car but my phone pairs to two separate devices. For the phone it pairs to my Audi MMI system and does so correctly every time. For the audio I have it pair with my Blackberry Stereo gateway which is hard wired into my aux input.
The issue I'm having is that if I'm connected in both Headset (Audi) and a2dp (Blackberry gateway) modes, the music will start to skip after a minute or two. It works completely fine for a few minutes, then I believe the phone is going into some sort of sleep state as it'll begin skipping fairly often. If I turn the screen back on, the skipping goes away. The strange part is that if I disconnect the pairing with the phone, the skipping never happens. It's almost as if there is enough juice in awake mode to correctly power both bluetooth connections, but if it's in some form of low power sleep mode, it's not able to handle both connections so the bluetooth audio skips.
I've also found that if I'm paired to both, the call quality over bluetooth is slightly lower with a bit of crackling/garbling, but not nearly as bad as what I get with the audio. I can deal with the phone side of the issue, but I can't listen to music that skips every 5 seconds.
Anyone else have this issue? I wish I could set it so the phone wouldn't sleep when paired to both devices! I don't mind a bit more battery drain while in the car if my phone is actually usable for what I want to do with it.

WiQiQi wireless charging and bluetooth issues

I am experiencing my bluetooth cutting out when the receiver is inserted in the phone. As soon the the receiver is removed from the phone, bluetooth streaming resumes flawless playback. Wouldn't expect that it would cause signals issues with the bluetooth. I don't have another headset to try. It's a cheap china stereo bluetooth headset. I works really well and has good sound. I'm wondering if another headset might be better. I have a bt home connect from xtrememac and I seem to be able to walk around my apartment w/out it cutting out. But it only seems to give me a problem with music and not with voice calls. Any suggestions?

Really weird bluetooth bug - audio stops

So, this is a weird one, and chances are none of you will ever experience it, but maybe you might know how to fix it.
I use a Moto Hint "earset" to listen to podcasts with Pocket Casts and audiobooks with Audible. When I get into the car, the car tries to pair with the phone, but since my car only has phone bluetooth and not audio bluetooth support, I don't bother disconnecting the Hint and plugging in an audio cable unless I'm going further than a few minutes.
But whenever the car tries to connect to the phone, the audio stops. ONLY if I'm using Pocket Casts! And ONLY with the Moto Hint! Audible works fine. My Plantronics headset works fine. Waze works fine.
I've contacted Pocket Casts as well, but I don't expect them to treat this as a red ball

Bluetooth Manager

I have an annoyance with my LG V50, I had a similar issue with my V30 as well. Everytime it comes near a paired Bluetooth device, it automatically switches audio to that. For example, my garage I have a Bluetooth stereo, if I am mowing with headphones and it reconnects to the garage, it starts playing in the garage. If I pull into my driveway while using the Bluetooth in my car, it starts playing in the garage. While in the garage, if I open my car door, which switches the radio on, it switches to my car. It's quite annoying to say the least... From what I can find, there are no settings I can change or 3rd party Bluetooth Managers that can take over this function. To me, it seems like it should be obvious, if I'm actively using an audio source, don't switch it on me...
Has anyone dealt with this or come up with solutions?
