So I got the Phantomskinz full body and screen protector and installed them last night on my phone. The install is pretty standard wet installation and I'm the worst person in the world at installing these things but I gave it a shot and took some pics. I went with the clear screen protector and the clear matte back which is freaking awesome and would have been flawless without one damned bubble on the top left that I borked and can't get out! These are well made, though and the matte back is great. I'm tempted to buy another back to get rid of the bubble.

Looks good. I must confess the wet applied ones are much easier on the n9 than the more curved n8 surface.
I need a wet applied back protector for mine.

The matte clear from these guys is freaking amazing. No finger prints, can clearly see the back of the phone. Of course I stuffed up the install with a damned bubble. The back is a wet install as well.

With wet installs I've had luck with bubbles working themselves out over a little time...unless it's due to dust then that's for life.

I just ordered a skin from Gadgetshieldz, opted for the Black Sandstone body w/the Purple Sandstone camera accent:
https://www.gadgetshieldz.com/samsung-galaxy-note-9-skins-decals-wraps.html
It ships from India,so,it'll be about two weeks before I see it here Stateside.
I'll post some pix when it arrives.
I have a clear Skinomi skin ATM,but,I have the Lavender Purple model & even though I checked it out before ordering,it still seems to be a lighter color than the demo I saw @ Best Buy & T-Mobile.
A smoked-out clear/matte skin would be perfect to darken it up a bit, but,I've yet to find one,so,the sandstone skin it is.
TBH,I'm not sure if the skin actually has a sandstone finish (hope so) or,just in looks only,we'll find out soon enough.

Be sure to post some pics after you get it please. I like the idea of a frosted skin on the back of the phone.
Currently using a clear skin that resembles the leather look lol.
If its just air, and the protector is glass/hard, you can use hot air to expand the bubble, and push it out with a soft squeegee.

Just got mine in the mail and applied it. Followed the instructions to the letter, and so far I still see streaks/residue behind the cover. The instructions say this will clear up within a few days so I won't pass judgement just yet. If the residue and streaks clear up like they say I would definitely recommend this. I will post back and update!
***Edit**
Forgot to add that as far as I can tell this cover has no effect at all on touch sensitivity.
You get the full skin or just the screen?
I just ordered mine using the get25 promo code to get 25% off. If it's anything like the Zagg skins the streaks will disappear.

The screen was somewhat straight forward and easy, the only complication I would see with installing it on the body is the corners not wanting to apply without some air bubbles.
Wish me luck. ... LOL hope it fits perfect with no bubbles imperfections piss me off

Mine should be here by Friday. Great job how long did it take?
Probably about 30 minutes. I did the screen in the bathroom with high steam from the shower to keep the dust down, and then did the rest in my kitchen. I did use my wifes hairdryer to aid in drying the smaller pieces on the top, bottom and sides. you have to be careful when doing the H shaped part across the back and sides. You adjust the right and completely move the left by accident. I will let everyone know if the micro-bubbles dissipate as advertised and will take additional photos in a couple days.
My screen has cleared up a little bit in the past few hours. Hoping it clears all the way up.
Nicely done slimm13. The micro bubbles will go away if they are anything like Zagg's IS.
It looks did a really great job putting it on. Curious though that the edges aren't fully covered...it leaves those little 't' shaped spaces. The Zagg seems too fully covers the rounded edges...
Thank you guys for the kind words, I think it is far from perfect but serviceable. I was surprised about the corners as well, thought it was odd. I had hoped that there would have been some extra material and I would have cut pieces to fit in said holes.

Those that cover the corners "well" are very easy to rub/peel off that corner as you just take it in and out of pocket. (I'd like to take a picture of my current phone to show you what I'm talking about.... it's ugly... but that gotta wait till my Nexus One arrives... ) Next time I'm getting these skins I'd look for the T-shaped ones with a hole at that pesky corner.
Hey everyone, just got a htc Desire, and loving it. I bought it off of someone and its an unbranded european version. I want to get a good screen protector for it preferably from HTC themselves, but their own branded one is only available in the UK from play.com and I'm in the US. So do you guys know of any great screen protectors I can find online?
Zagg invisible shield.
No Zagg please.
IT's too soft and thick, it's hard to apply. It's adhasive side coming out from it's edges and it' makes dirts to stick on it.
I'm using commuter case oem screen protector and it feels better.

I got one last week and know exaclty what you mean about the sides sticking. mine has pocket fluff stuck to the side. I thought it was fairly easy to apply and fits perfectly though.
I've just bought a cheap silicone case, and another zagg to put under it - so the fluff won't see the sides anymore!!
One word: BRANDO. Have been a great fan of Zagg for a long time; did try Brando once: will never go back! Incredibly clear, smooth as glass, they don't get sticky, not even after months, and they don't get any scratch on them. Simply awesome!
Brando Ultra Clear! probably the best screen protector out there..i have mine for 7+ months and only have some minor scratches.
Martin Fields is really good as well, but gets scratched quicker than brando.
I'm using Martin Fields for about 4 months and yea it does has a few scratches, but not noticeable.
However, the Brando maybe better and is cheaper.

I've had really hard luck with those: first of all i was pissed about the fact that they don't cover the entire screen surface...but the major flaw came in a few days: i started to notice a 1 inch violet/blue halo in the middle of the screen. At first i thought it was something greasy ended there when i applied it, so soon after i removed the protector and tried to clean it, and guess what? It wasn't dirt, it was just the screen protector "fading"! I still have to ask a refound, but i'm just too lazy i guess...in the while i'm using a universal film, but my brando ultra clear is already on its way
I use cheap ones from ebay, great fit, easy to apply and you get 6 in a pack for £1.20, was £1.12 last week when I bought some packs.

That's unlucky. I've not had any problems as such. In fact I don't even realise it's on most of the time. The selling point for me was the camera lens protector
Mine one has left about 1mm from the bottom, and a very very minimal gap (0.25-0.50 mm) around the other edges.
Better luck with brando (it does sound like an excellent product).

Have something that is quite the opposite to what you wrote. It's Martin fields screen protector.
It's stiff, thin, no adhesive, you can wash it in warm water (both sides), easy to apply and if you fail you can re apply it again and again and again

Promised to do a review on this screen protector, so paulo this one's for you. Haha. Well I've had this screen protector on for about 4 weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those on a budget. A $5.95 well spent.
Pros:
Dry application
Precise cut outs
Great touch responsiveness (Swyping with this bad boy is a breeze.)
No fingerprints
No smudges
Better visibility in sunlight
Looks sexy lol
Cons:
Took me 2 out of the 3 protectors to get it on right, or without bubbles. Maybe I'm just not good at that.
Screen quality degradation (This is expected with a anti-glare/matte screen protector. There is some pixelation, which is really noticeable on white backgrounds.)
You can but it HERE.
Pictures that took me forever.

Thanks for the review. I already ordered mine and just wanted to check out some more images of it. Out of curiosity, what case are you using? Also is there a notice gap between the protector and the lip of the case? The first few images make it seem like it, but the rest make the gap appear small.

I'm guessing you are taking about the difference between this picture of the screen protector:
vs
Well there are two reasons.
1. I didn't apply the screen protector perfectly. You can also see the little bubbles created by dust left on the screen. So I took it off, and tried again.
2. Two different cases. I doubt this affects it, however, considering I switch the cases out per week and the gap between the screen protector and the case doesn't increase or shrink.
I have two cases. The white one the Mercury TPU Nexus 4 case(comes in many different colors), and the black one is the Acase Superleggera Pro Hybrid dual layer Nexus 4 case(also comes in different assortments).
I'm also using this screen protector and I love it too, great price ya can't go wrong with these. ????

I bought this screen protector 3 months ago but never used it, as it looks like a hassle to apply if it takes going through most of them to get one that is applied properly. I just kept the stock plastic protector on mine; maybe after that gets destroyed I will give it a try.

its pretty simple just be quick, and i would day do it in the restroom, less dust in the air. always works for me.
I've installed countless screen protectors for me and friends. For the wet ones, you definitely want to be in a steamy bathroom as that helps settle the dusts. The dry ones, need to be done quickly. You can slip a small piece of tape between the screen and the screen protector to grab some of the dust. The stickiness of the tape beats the static force created by the protector. Not sure of its technical name.
My silliest method was to put the phone in the middle, on top of a fan blowing air upwards. That way it created a space where dust will not be. It worked perfectly.

I mean, I guess there is. But to notice the bubbling you would have to nitpicking or looking in with a magnifying glass (not really). I'd say the bubbling on the side is about .25 cm from the edge. Really slight, and with my case on you can't notice it.
Slightly off topic, but what case is that on your N4 OP?

I've noticed that there are a lot of threads for rugged cases, slim cases, vinyl skins and for people who want to use the phone naked (with Nexus Protect, hopefully ).
But how about covering the phone in a clear, transparent skin to protect the soft alluminium against scratches, while preserving the awesome look and design of the Nexus 6p?
I've found a handful of such skins:

I've got the first Skinomi you listed installed on my aluminum angler while I'm waiting for a dbrand skin to arrive. Although I've used the Skinomi screen protector before, this is my first time using the full body skin. In short, I love it. I typically carry my phone in my front pocket and so far there's been no peeling, scratches, etc... It adds a nice tackiness to the grip. I doubt it provides any drop protection though. Visually, I can't tell there's anything on the phone.
Bought xtremeguard to protect mine while i waited for my vinyl skin. The screen guard had huge cut outs for the speaker and the proximity sensors were covered. That leaves a lot of glass exposed and a black screen on calls.
The back was also poorly cut in terms of fit and finish. There's no skin provided for the visor, and the top edge of aluminum around the visor was completely omitted.
I bought that for $2 back when there was a sale code, but it was definitely not something I would keep on the long term. That being said, the visibility through the skin was quite good after you let the skin settle in about 2 days after installation.

Here you go. I could have aligned the back piece a bit better. It's a little low. I figured I'd just leave it though since I'm expecting a dbrand. Also, there is a skin over the visor as well.

Yeah, about the only thing they missed was a piece directly above the visor. I tried putting it in the Google Adopted case as well. It barely fit, but I hated the look, so skin only.
Just ordered a Bestskinever full body skin. We'll see if its cut out better than the other ones.
All these other brands seem to share more or less the same cuts, ommiting the strip above the visor, and not really covering "edge-to-edge". Waiting for some company to solve these issues. I'm mostly excited about Slickwrap's Naked series. It had perfect coverage on the HTC one M8
Okay, I have had this on for about a week now, and I have never been this happy with a screen protector before. I have around ten different android devices in the the house at the moment and most have glass protectors on them. I also am coming from a note 4 with the rounded edges/halo nightmare, I know what a pain they can be as well.
First, the coating on it is top notch, slick and smooth. The rounded edges roll right onto the stainless rails and make the phone feel like it was meant to have a 2d screen.
It DOES cover the front cams which some day will diminish quality. I didn't notice a change, nor do I take QUALITY photos with the front cam.
There is no sharp edges and it isn't catching on clothes or even finger swipes. The fit on mine is perfect.
The wings they provide really do aid in the install. I lined up one side and laid her down smooth.
Two thumbs up from this guy.

I was thinking of getting the GLAS.tR SLIM and the Slim Armor case. Some, and only some, of the reviews on Amazon have said that there was chipping and scratches on the GLAS.tR SLIM after a week. Did you get it from Amazon or Spigen? And what have your results been so far? Thanks.
I was a little on the fence about getting one, but I'd taken a look at some of the reviews on it, and with it being on sale at Amazon for only $10, I decided to give it a go.
I have to agree with OP across the board. Seems very good so far

Got mine from Amazon, looks as good as the day I put it on. I am careful though.
What some folks don't understand is that you can can take a screw driver to these screens and protectors and not get a scratch. But all it takes is one tiny grain of sand and it's ruined.
Wish we all could stop blaming the glass.
Mine is placed perfect, I have no snags or chips. Uag case helps with that too.

Mine had easy clean layer fading problem even the second day after installation.
Probably Spigen needs to have better QC.
So a little follow up. I have SOMEHOW taken a chip put of the side edge of this screen protector. I can honestly tell you that it had to have happened very easily. I'm pretty easy on my devices, so this had to have happened without much effort. I don't see any marks on the device anywhere at all. It hasn't spidered, so I'll keep it on for the time being
Edit.....
I won't be buying another one, even at $10
I've used Spigen Glas.Tr Nano/Slim way back when they were $34.99 and never had a problem with Spigen glass until the $9.99 V10 one. I got a small crack in mine after being on the phone for 2 days.
I just installed the IntelliArmor Glass HD and I like it a little better then the Spigen. It's a hair shorter on all sides then the spigen but the oleophobic coating is way better.
The only downside is it does not have the "Tabs" like the Spigen for install. Also, it's down the $8.99 on Amazon.
