[Tutorial] How to save battery if you use a single sim. - X Play General

Have you ever wondered why so much battery was left and in the battery statistics there was something called "On hold" that took up a lot?
Well sometimes it's because you have very little coverage but other times it's because in the motorcycle x play we have activated the two SIMs and only occupy one and the other is waiting to be activated and that takes battery. Then we are going to deactivate that other sim that we do not use, generally slot 2.
1) Mainly you need to be ROOT. You are looking for a file explorer that allows you to modify files of the system, in my case I will use MiXplorer ..

2) You go to root or / and from there to system
3) You look for the file called build.prop
4) You search for the line persist.radio.multisim.config = dsds and change dsds by none
5) Save it and restart. According to the rom you will notice that the battery improves a lot and in others that have better optimization you will not notice much difference.
Time to have a better battery

I'm rooted with the GB 2.3.3 update and stock battery with Juicedefender and Setcpu installed. Battery life has definitely made a difference over Froyo and I'm pretty satisfied with the fewer trips to the wall-charger. However, I was wondering why the camera and gallery takes up 46% of my battery I haven't used the camera and I've tried restarting it the phone, but they still persist in the battery list. Anyone with a similar issue?
I don't see an issue. That doesn't mean the camera is still running. It just means you havn't really used your phone for anything. With the power saving settings you have, and the fact that you hardly used the phone in two days, you could have used the camera for 3 minutes and probably would have counted for 20 %
You don't wanna know where this was sent from.
I thought about that too. I did put the phone into airplane mode over-night and also used it to play music with the screen off for a couple of hours, which it why the levels might indicate like I hardly used the phone. But that's the mystery, I never used the camera, at all over the past 2 days.

{Help} Battery troubles still

I have a new phone 2 weeks old and from day 1 I've had horrible battery even with minimal use. usually I can get through a work day and that's it. I work in construction so I have no wifi. I turn off Wifi,NFC,Data,GPS,Bluetooth, and set screen brightness to lowest setting unless i'm using them. But keep in mind I'm rarely using my phone except for breaks which i put it on the charger. Here are some pictures that may help decipher the problem. At first glance I have a "wake lock". I'm stuck at 384MHz. I've had a wakelock on all my roms for some reason. Sometimes its the media app sometimes its android system...Currently I'm on Barebones CM10 but I've had most of this forums roms\kernels on my phone after a full wipe and even after some odin stock. I'm kinda lost as my sister who got the phone a day after me has great battery life and my friends say they can get up to 2 days if they aren't using it. i don't believe the 2 days comment, but still his battery life isn't as bad. I'm not crazy right? Also, I'm not sure why all the time running aren't the same

Using App Quarantine widgets for quick disabling enabling.
With Maps disabled, Now works fine in terms of determining my location, however the 'NAVIGATE' action is missing on cards.

What really works for me: processor underclocking + low screen brightness.
Nothin big.
1.Just put it into airplane mode when u have weak network (it sucks out a lot of juice trying to find a stronger connection) or when asleep (so that no one disturbs! )
2. Turn off wifi, gps, bluetooth when not in use!
life!
certainly low screen brightness and put in airplaine mode when I sleep

[MOD][KK] InCallUI mod for LG G2

Hey guys.
I searched a little bit and realized our G2 had just very few InCallUI mods, so I decided to make my own one.

Just copy LGInCallUI to system/priv-app and set permissions, afterwards I think no reboot is needed (for me no reboots were necessary for changes to take effect), but you may still at least soft reboot just to be safe.
Remember to BACKUP your old one before copying mine! Also, this was done on 20D, so it may not work on yours!
If you want top bar and some other colors like this
Then you need Xposed by rovo and Resflux module by WisdomSky!
1. Download Resflux (I use 1.5, for me this one works best)
2. No need to restart, just tick activate and open the app
3. Find InCallUI, open it. You better set your screen timeout to infinity, because mapping resources will take veeeeery long time!
4. After it's done, find call_banner_bg and set it colors to #ffc7c7c7. Then call_card_end_state_bg, set to #ff8e0003. And then call_card_state_bg, set to #ff8e8e8e .
5. Reboot.
This. It should be like on screenshot now.

Having a DATA sim causes battery to drain very fast (Cell Standby)

I made a previous thread where I tried to force LTE to solve my Cell Standby issue. In the end I couldn't figure out a way to do this on a non-rooted phone.
Until recently I found an app Network Mode that allowed me to select "LTE only" which I thought would solve the problem of my phone wasting his battery to finding a GSM connection (which I guess the problem is).
Cell Standby is currently still on the top with usage, but it dropped from 70-85% to 50%.
But I want it to drop more, is there anything else I can do to test to find what causes him to use this much battery, and possibly disable it?
PS. I don't have this problem when I put my Belgian SIM in my phone which isn't limited to internet data.

Bump
I tried to contact Google, they sent me to Samsung. Samsung said it's a stock android problem so sent me back, placed the bug on their bug system but no response yet. Anything I can try myself while waiting?
Last bump, I promise. I'm stuck between two companies and my phone can't survive a day.
