I was working on a device D850 stuck on factory reset status 2 blue screen and used TOT method, after a lot of struggle and head scratch i finally got the device onto flashtool, but the problem i am facing now is that despite whatever i do the phone is constatnly in a boot loop for a brief moment it will show a factory reset sign but then the tail chasing starts again. this also happened during TOT
i am using
LGD850_20140613_LGFLASHv160.dll
and
LGD850AT-01-V10d-310-410-JUN-19-2014+0.tot file
but its t working as mentioned i am following every step carefully. and due to my sluggish internet I had struggled with download process
a help will be much appreciated , it always fail at 94% and start the loop process
Ps: i am also unable to access stock recovery

Folks, I have seen some threads on here so I will understand that you will probably hate me but seriously none of those did well for me. So that's why I am creating mine. As an owner of LG G2 mini I had been closely focusing on CM12 progress re lollipop that InvaderJohn was working on. There was a camera overexposure issue so I tried to use some working lib files and vendor/lib files and created a flashable file for TWRP recovery. I screwed it up as upong the flash my phone with CM12 didn't boot up. I wasn't able to get into recover thru adb so I pressed volume down and middle button and got myself into factory mode. I did factory reset and was in TWRP recovery again. Good. Then I reflashed the phone and there was an error saying that secure booting unsuccessful. I have LG Flashtools and tot file with dll for my LG D620fr on my laptop. This method I used once when getting the phone bricked and it worked and I was able to install stock 4.4.2 ROM. But this time... not sure why but the tot flash got stuck with 94% and while the phone was supposed to get restarted it didn't and the message above of the secure etc. popped up. I am able to get into my TWRP recovery (weird) but nothing else. I suspect I got my bootloader locked. Is there any way how to figure this out, please? I was trying the fastboot method but my phone is unrecognizeable. Any help is much appreciated.

Sounds like the bootloader is locked.
Check this thread: How to check for locked bootloader? ... but it's for the LG G3.

I keep getting a message on the LG startup screen, that says,
"secure booting error
cause: boot certification verify"
My phone was rooted using king root almost 6 months ago, and I had no problems with it. Until around a month ago, it started getting real slow and apps would randomly stop. So I decided to format the phone. There weren't many problems after that. but after a while it started getting slow again, but slower than the first time. One day almost every app closed and "LG Home" would close, it would give me some kind of error. I turned it off and tried turning it back on, but that's when I got that error. At first i thought my phone was bricked, i still sort of do, so I tried several methods. I can only turn the phone on in download mode, and my computer recognizes it as an android device
At first I had some problems because i couldn't find my right .KDZ file, I used KDZ Update and I tried using LGFlash tool, but i can't find any of the files (.bin . dll) I need. I've also tried using the 2014 version of the LGFlash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190&highlight=100 Also used the LG Mobile Support tool, and nothing! They all take around 4 to 5 hours to finish!!! It never says there's an error or anything, none of them do! They always finish successfully, but the same thing keeps happening. Every time the phone reboots, it gets stuck on the LG logo and i get the "secure booting Error"!! What else can i try? Any suggestions? Am i missing something? All drivers are installed correctly and I've tried on windows 7, 8 and 10! Is there anybody who can help me? What do you think the problem could be? What causes the "secure booting Error!"??

He wasn't rooted and had never even played with flashing anything, it just stopped booting one day and would display the "LG Life's Good" boot screen for a few seconds before going black and then just repeating this endlessly. I was able to get into recovery and download mode so I used the tot method to flash back to stock after a hard reset just produced the same results.
When I flashed the stock firmware, everything appeared to work fine, it went through the MiniOS bootup and everything, said success, gave me the hard reset status screen so when it finished I pulled the battery as instructed and rebooted but the phone still has the same issue. I have tried to run factory reset through recovery now that I flashed the new firmware and it still does the same thing, just hangs at the boot screen for a few seconds before going black and then trying again, endlessly.
Has anyone encountered this before? Is it bricked?

Pretty common prob plug it in to the wall charge see if it boots sometimes it still wont but most of the time it will the battery quality on the g3 is crap they last at most a year with a few exceptions i would first order a battery.

I am new to working on these phones so I apologize in advance if I don't properly state any processes or terms correctly.
I have a stock non modded Verizon LGG3 VS985 that experienced problems with WiFi and Bluetooth not working and significant battery drain. This happened right after a recent update to marshmallow. I tried cache clearing, safe mode, hard reset and nothing solved the problem. I decided I wanted to take the phone back to factory condition. I started with the LG flash tool that uses the .tot and a .dll. I ran the flash and when the program got to approx. 80%(at checking mini os phase of the flash) the phone began to reboot and only got as far as the LG logo and after about 2 min of the phone trying to reboot the flash program said fail, usb connect or something like that. At this point the phone will only start and go into a loop that includes the vibrate and the LG logo. and that will cycle until I believe the battery would die if allowed. I then found a link here at XDA (https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/guide-flash-to-stock-10b-kdz-method-t2928140) that uses the KDZ method, was well written and easy to follow. I ran it on the phone and it was going great. The flash program got to 88% and the phone went into the boot loop with the vib and LG logo . The flash program continued to run until it was complete while the phone was in the boot loop and it got to 100% and said that the software installed. I powered down the phone via battery removal and now when it tries to boot it vibes, shows the lg log and then the green android symbol shows for about 2 seconds and then it does it all over again. I have tried a hard reset and nothing changes. I appreciate any ideas any of you may have on what I can try to get this resolved. Thank you.

I have an LG V20 F800L, it with oreo and rooted
When I play mobile legend sometimes it hangs then shows a green screen and it shows message watchdog bite ...., i forgot the detail. It keeps happening sometimes and I just let it. until it auto off because the battery drained then when it charged it, it showed purple screen and showed a secure watchdog bite!
I tried to unbrick it use uppercut, lgup but not success because it cant detect my phone model
i tried to do test point method but it not success with some error (looks like the file for F800L is not available for test point process)
when i try to enter download mode, it always ended up with purple screen and message "secure watchdog bite!"
then i found a thread with fastboot method by flash partition 1 by 1 with extracted .dz file, i did it and it make the purple screen gone but i cant enter fastboot & when i enter download mode, it keep restarting
anybody have advice / give guide to make my LG V20 back to life?
I had a weird issue come up. Something fragged out after I installed lineage 18. I ended up downloading multiple different versions of the kdz file. And tried to kdz every single one of them using uppercut. Finally the 20c kdz for the vs995 worked. However there where are some Trace elements from the old ROM. Magisk and a few other apps are on there. However the phone is no longer rooted. It's like the stock software from the kdz what those apps plus my fingerprint and lock pattern worked right after it booted up ( even with no setup process). Not sure how that happened but the other kdz variants flashed completely but did not let the phone booth back in to the operating system.
Long story short. Try different kdz from different updates. Hopefully that helps you out.
