hi. i've got bootloop, that hang on first splash screen. i have access to the bootloader and twrp (so adb and fastboot). download mode unforentlly not working how can i flash full system using only fastboot and twrp? my last os was emui 4.0 (B803) so i wanted to downgrade manually flashing extracted B550 and yeah..
edit. when i flash stock recovery i have access to the download mode too. so what can i do to flash whole system back?

Bootloop to fastboot after being on dp3, and restoring carbon. I tried fastboot boot twrp.img, but it fails....I also tried fastboot flash it, it does, but still reboots to fastboot. Any suggestions?
I assume you had TWRP installed when this condition occurred, and trying to boot TWRP just sent you to fastboot?
What was the exact error message when trying to fastboot boot TWRP?

It sends the file...then I get a remote error. I tried fastboot flash too. It completed, but still boots to fastboot. Guess msm tool is needed. This phone is a pita.
I cannot get twrp to boot.....Phone refuses to boot it. WTF???

LOL...Um, yes.
Use the All-In-One Tool and flash a fastboot firmware zip (you can find downloads in the software itself). After flashing your back on OOS and can use fastboot to boot TWRP again, then install or restore your rom

You can use the fastboot rom method but it will delete all your data. This will bring back phone to stock. From there you can flash twrp and magisk.

first time OP7 Pro root, trying to install pixel experience rom. got fastboot, oem unlock and twrp successfully done but i cannot boot into twrp. back in stock OS so not bricked, but even after i repeated and flashed twrp (allegedly powershell says it was successful), i just cannot boot into twrp recovery. i downloaded the 10.3.8 directly from oneplus' site, not sure if i need to flash that first and try twrp again? i just have no idea what i'm doing wrong. thanks for any help!
Might be you only fastboot boot the twrp img. After you do that you need to install the TWRP zip for it to be permanent while in in twrp.
Ok so i was trying to root my phone again after the Android 12 update. I messed it up and soft bricked my phone. fastboot works but fastboot roms haven't given me any luck and I'm now trying to install twrp so i can flash an older rom again but when i run fastboot boot twrp.img it just boots into fastboot again. am i really out of luck until twrp gets updated to Android 12? stock recovery works but isn't helpful. I've also had no luck with msmdownloadtool what can i do?
Since TWRP is not supported/works on A12. Your only option is to use MSM tool to get back. I would have suggested you try flash the stock boot.img from A12 you flashed, but that wont work since you tried the fastboot rom.
Had this before on my phone, and flashing the stock boot worked
