Can't flash my soft bricked device - General Questions and Answers

Hello. I accidently installed wrong version of TWRP recovery to my phone from Rasher App and it get bricked. Seems like its bootlooping. I only see the general mobile (brand) logo when i try to turn on my phone. I got stock rom, recovery, bootloader etc. on my computer and when i try to flash from SP Flash Tool while its turned off, the progress sticks in %0 and seems like pc can not recognise my phone. Here what I tried to do. (Using Win10)
1- Disabled driver signature enforcement.
2- Installed MTK Win10 and ADB drivers from XDA developers thread.
3- I removed my phones battery and selected scatter.txt from stock rom. Than put my battery back to phone.
4- I disabled the CheckSwverse and clicked to Download while Frimware Update is selected.
5- Plugged my phone to pc.
I could not get anything from theese and i tried different mtk drivers from different guides and tried different usb ports and cables . None of them worked. I don't know where am I doing wrong.
Can you please help me??
PS: I can't enter to recovery or download mode.
edit: I also tried different modes such as Download or Format from SP Flash Tool. Not worked

I tried putting CyanogenMod but I messed my phone up...bad.

I have an Infuse 4g and I tried putting CyanogenMod on it...but I messed everything up. It won't turn on or go into Recovery mode. I can't use Ordin3 to unbrick it (if it is) because it won't turn on. The USB cable doesn't start charging it at all. I can give you guys any more info you need. I really need to fix this fast.

I also have one of these.. maybe with all the members on here, we could build a wall.
You can unbrick it if you have fastboot on your pc.
First you have to be in bootloader mode, you can do that using volume down + power button (it may vary between android versions), then you plug in the usb cable and wait for the computer to install bootloader drivers. On win7 it's called android 1.0 when it's searching for drivers.
Then you flash boot and recovery images to the device using "fastboot flash (partition, specifically boot and recovery) (image location)".
After that you either restore a backup, or flash another rom through recovery.
But you shouldn't be able to boot current rom since it's incompatible.

Xperia Sola apps crash errors & flash mode not working

Hi there guys,
I have an old phone Xperia Sola. Yesterday I did a factory reset from phone setting. Factory reset was successful. Phone restarts but every app starts to crash as soon as phone boots and I am unable to use the phone. Tried PC companion can't get to the flash mode, Tried Flashtool same issue can't get to the flash mode. All drivers are installed but phone doesn't show up in flash mode. It does boot normal but on each restart after sony and xperia logo there is a windows saying (Android is upgrading... Optimising Application 0 of 84) this process runs and then again errors and phone reboots like I just performed factory reset. It does showup in fastboot but not in flash mode kindly help I am stuck here.
Notes:
1. Phone is not rooted/Dont know about the bootloader whether is it locked or unlocked.
2. I am using windows 10 so kindly if you guys know any issues related to drivers on windows 10 do let me know and share drivers If you know about any. (Using windows 8.1 drivers and technique)
3. I have installed adb drivers but flashtool show no device even when my phone is connected. (Screenshot is attached)
4. I can't turn on usb debugging mode because I can't use the phone.
I would try to flash a custom recovery using ADB and then use the custom recovery to flash a custom rom.

How to turn on Pantech Discover USB debugging? (via CMD, Recovery, ADB)

I have problems with my pantech discover magnus P9090, the problem is that the phone is completely bricked and dead. When i turned on the phone, it simply just shows BLACK SCREEN ( No Logo and nothing else). My assumption is that there is no OS inside or something causes it to be bricked. I have done almost everything by using Android Recovery (Not custom recovery) to do factory reset and wipe cache. I rebooted it and it doesn't work either. So i found a solution which is by using apply update from ADB. I understand the process but the only problem is
The device is not detected by ADB when i type "adb devices" it could be two problems:
a. No drivers for this phone installed (While i try to update driver, it fails)
b. USB Debugging off (Since phone can't get into OS, so im confused how to turn it on via other ways)
I got the Custom rom and CWM recovery image but how can i install the recovery and ROM if ADB isn't detecting the phone. I can't even use sideload command.
My plan to fix this is by installing CWM with the command "fastboot flash recovery [filename]" and then using CWM to push the file ROM into phone and install zip in SD card. However, it links back that i need the phone to be detected first. Anyone can help me? Thank you so much. Im so badly want to revive this phone. :good:
There's no other way until pantech usa release pdl file for restore discover..

[Q][MTK][Huawei-Y600_U20] phone wont turn on after Format all+Download in SPflash

I'm running a custom rom 5 months now when my phone got a freeze last night and it's stuck in Logo... it wont also go to recovery. So i tried to flash my firmware using SpFlash.
It passed thru 100% and got a successful flash. but nothing happens. After that, i tried to do Format All + Download, then my phone doesnt show logo, doesnt vibrate either. i tried to flash again the firmware, but even if it's successful, it doesn't change anything. It's still not booting.
phone gets recognize on device manager.
I have drivers installed on my windows 7
I'm using SP Flashtool v5.1552
i have 2 stock firmwares downloaded from official Huawei services and one from another site.
EDIT: PHONE IS DEAD.

After all this can you still flash through sp flash tool?
Does your phone charge?
If you're sure you flashed the right firmware leave it for some time , if it still doesnt boot then remove the battery and reinsert and try again.

YES! I am still able to flash successfully without errors. but nothing happens though.
i'm also sure that i flashed the right firmware.
removing the battery and placing it some time doesn't do anything.
Just now, i tried to flash with Firmware Upgrade option, and i get an error failed to find PMT file info or something.
are you familiar with such?
Use download only as that's the only workaround I've for this pmt error.this mostly is releted to scatter text and wrong directory of files so trying another stock firmware might help.

Install Stock Recovery on Unrooted Phone That Cannot Connect to a PC

Hey,
I own a WileyFox Storm that runs Cyanogen OS (kipper) as stock. A while back, I tried to root it, but failed so gave up. As it turns out, I forgot to get rid of the TWRP CR (which was an edition specifically designed for the Storm). There is now an update which I would like to install, but obviously it does not work because I do not have stock recovery.
MY PHONE IS NOT ROOTED!!!
I was going to flash the stock recovery using ADB fastboot, however my phone is now refusing to be recognised by my PC. Yes;
- I have the correct drivers installed.
- I have enabled USB debugging (I have also tried disabling it).
- I have tried rebooting both my phone and PC.
- I have tried rebooting my phone and wiping Cache and Dalvik Cache.
- I have tried with a different USB cable, and tried using a different USB port.
- I have tried removing my SD card.
My phone says that it is charging (which is is) when it connects to my PC, but nothing comes up, anywhere. No notifications (on both devices), ADB nor fastboot recognises it, no *chime* sound on my PC.
I cannot try using a different PC (I only have one). So, how can I replace the TWRP recovery with stock recovery???
Thanks )
