Hi I'm also from Namibia and having a similar problem and I'm looking for this firmware that was on the phone n920axxs4cpk1..It was working before and I also have a efs back up in Z3X folder together with the nv data but after update from an app the phone restarted and was just in a bootloop and I reset and even wipe cache but no solution and I had to flash the phone from the z3x support files but now the baseband is corrupt and no imei

I recently entered the world of rooting and roms etc and yesterday i tried to flash DN3 ROM V5 for my AT&T note 2 GT-N7100.
The flash went smoothly but after the intial set up of the rom i realised I had no mobile service, so I then checked my imei using *#06# and my imei was found to be Null/Null.
I know that this has something to do with the efs folder in my phone but i don't know how to get mobile date back on my phone.
PLEASE HELP
Hi,
You have a dedicated forum for that device, so you must start ask/read there for more relevant answers:
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II > AT&T Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck
BTW, you have been directed already by my colleague @KJ in this thread, so please post your future questions in the dedicated forum for your device linked above or in the other thread.
Thanks for understanding

Well you could try flashing a fully stock rom. This has been known to help but the only sure way was to have a backup of the EFS folder. If you didnt make the proper backups then you may end up sending it back for repair.

Hi guys, I have a samsung gt i9300 international bought it last week with android 4.1.1 stock. I upgraded it to 4.3 and then suddenly it could not perform any gsm related action like calling, texting internet etc with a NOT CONNECTED ON NETWORK error message.
I did my homework and found out that
1. the imei beneath the battery is different from the one inside the phone via #*06#
2. I have a generic imei with 00449 etc....
3. I did not backed up the efs folder and ever since I paniced and changed like 10 roms without succeeding.
4. I found out that the solution is to recover my imei
Now I have tried many ways to recover but failed. Is there a way somebody may suggest may be I have not used that one?
Thanks for your time guys I appreciate.

I assume that you have already tried this method: [GUIDE] Recover your IMEI in 9 steps..
If not, please do so.
If it doesn't help, check this thread: Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 > Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Generic IMEI 0049990106400 / 01.
It's about the same issue and has some useful answers.
If nothing helps, please ask the question in the [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S3 Ask any question. thread.
Best place to get quick help for your device IMO.

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. You need to be very careful when considering using firmware that isn't from your exact variant, it'd be best to ask the experts in the Note 4 help thread here:

Hi.
I have a SM-G900F Galaxy s5 which is not detecting the SIM card right now.
The mishapen occurred when I cleared the cache of my phone's NFC which was set to SIM card sharing (I can't recall doing anything else).
I have tried factory resetting and it doesn't work.
My phone is not rooted and runs an official 5.0 ROM from Samsung, with the recent 2nd firmware update from Samsung.
Someone please help..!

Background: Friend's Galaxy S6 ; SM-G920F ; Android 5.1.1 ; Bricked when failed to root
Hello, I am posting on behalf of a friend who bricked his phone. He accidentally flashed the 5.0.2 CF autoroot when his phone had updated to 5.1.1. Normally, this would be easy to fix by flashing its stock firmware.
However, we have no idea what the country of origin or carrier of the phone are. We only know the model number, SM-G920F, the IMEI, and serial number. I have tried using Samsung's new smart switch to detect the correct firmware, but it did not work. Unfortunately, my friend purchased his S6 from a not-so-trustworthy seller from Indonesia and has not been able to get a hold of them. We only have access to the sticker with its model, serial, and IMEI numbers on the phone's back. Any help or tips will be appreciated. We just want to unbrick his phone. Thanks in advance!
