Soft Touch vs Clear Cover - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Accessories

Hi,
Does Clear Cover has the same grip as Soft Touch Cover?
I'd like to buy a Soft Touch if it has better grip and provides better phone protection. But the blue color is too bright for my taste. Clear Cover would reveal the dark blue color of the phone.. but something tells me that the grip and protection is minimal.

Dark blue? The phone I saw in Car Phone warehouse is reflective on the back....is not a matt colour that I was expecting.

Chose Blue soft touch cover for the grip. The transparent one was just a piece of hard slippery plastic.

Something to consider regarding the Orange neo

I just scratched the orange plastic top cover of my new Wild Orange Neo, and it is white plastic underneath a thin coating of orange color. this is disappointing, because I chose plastic over the metal one so I could buff out scratches when they occur. With regards to normal watches, I like stainless steel cases the best because I know how to remove any dings or scratches in the finish. I typically do not buy any watch with any type of coating on the surface which prevents you from being able to refinish it.
One thing that strikes me as odd, is that the lower half of the case looks like it is solid orange, not coated orange.
****** It appears, thankfully, that I was technically wrong about it being white plastic underneath a surface coating. After studying both the orange and black ones after scratching them, is that the plastic is of the type that turns white when scraped. As long as the remaining surface is rough or little edged of it are sticking out, they appear white. You can remedy that with 600 grit wet or dry black sandpaper (or any other favorite watch case refinisher that you are used to using). It just needs to be a smooth surface again, to prevent it from looking white. ******
I feel much better about them now. Sorry about that. (I don't however, like the ease with which the bodies are scratched)

Melkco double layer case review

I received this case today and have to say that it is better than I thought it would be. Firstly the packaging is very professional and inviting as shown in my photos. On opening the box I am greeted by the case and a screen protector with a nice grey microfiber cloth with the melkco branding on it.
The case is a dual layer type the outer layer is a hard durable plastic which feels nice in hand without being slippery but is smooth. The inside layer is a black very soft silicone which again feels nice to the touch.
With the case on there is a little bulk but worth it for the protection and the buttons are still easy to press through the case. All the openings are spot on and all the functions are unaffected.
I would recommend this case overall very good value for money.

Poetic Affinity Series Case Review

Just received the Poetic Affinity clear case with black TPU lining and I have to say it's one of the better cases I've used so far with my G5. The case is actually VERY thin, similar to a scap on polycarbonate case but there's the added benefit of the TPU accents on the insides of the case as well as the rim, top and bottom of the case. The corners - where the point of impact during a drop is most likely to occur - is reinforced with shock absorbing TPU but it's not over the top. Since it's TPU, I haven't had any issues with pocket lint. I have another case that is made of polycarbonate, and has a TPU boarder but that one lifts my screen protector, this one doesn't. That clear TPU on that other one is also turning slightly yellow. Since this one is mostly polycarbonate with a but of black TPU, I don't see that issue arising any time soon. I also like that the TPU accents on the back of the case also adds grip while the phone is on a slippery table.
I would imagine the back of case would also get less scratches over time since it's not making much contact with the surface on the table. I am pretty satisfied with this case since I was looking for a way show off the natural look of my gold G5 without sacrificing drop protection or worrying about yellowing TPU.
Positives:
> Lightweight and thin - adds very little bulk, similar to the other clear snap on cases on the market while providing more protection where it's needed
> Fits and is compatible with regular PET screen protectors - having used another clear polycarbonate case with TPU sides, this one does not cause my screen protector to bubble. It covers the trim of the phone right up to the screen protector.
> TPU lip provides enough spacing on the front so you can place it face down on a table or ground
> Raised ridges on the sides of the case which improves grip
> Cutouts on the top and bottom are precise - dead on
> Volume rocker buttons are precise and I get solid feedback when pressing them - no mushy volume buttons (something I've come across with another case already)
> Cutout for the fingerprint reader is large and not recessed - finger fits comfortably even if you have long nails
Not so good:
> Surprisingly difficult to put on and take off - The fit is much on point and that might be a good thing in terms of keeping out dust, but it was a bit tough to remove from the phone when I first got it. It gets easier once you remove it a few times but the case truly fits the G5 like a glove and a bit of force is required in order to pop the corners out. It does not scratch the phone but I have to say it is tougher to remove in comparison to other cases I've used including Spigen and UAG.
Thinking of getting this for my oneplus 3 but worried about yellow fade and scratches. How's yours going on till this day? @Kawaisa

Poetic Quarterback Case for Note 7 (with pictures w/ Note 7 Coral Blue)

I received this case and used for few days now and here is what I feel about this case. The case is made out of polycarbonate and it feels like same material is used as Affinity, TPU area, which is very sturdy and high quality. There are contoured grips on both sides and top and it prevents from sliding off your hands. There are also honeycomb texture area near both sides on the back. Combining these two features should help a buyer who constantly drops the phone while holding.
The edges around the case on front have beveled edges and top and bottoms are great, but sides can be more beveled, few spots can feel a little sharp, but usage overtime will make this issue go away. Back cover can be detached and replaced if you want to. I am not sure why this feature exists, but if you would like to combine with different colors, you can do it. Given the price of this case being relatively cheap, that is possible. I personally like the case overall, doesn't add much to its thinness and I can still feel like holding a thin phone. Back cover is plastic and replaceable as mentioned above.
This is an excellent case for someone who doesn't have to see the phone natural color obviously because it covers the whole area, or someone who is looking for a case for your BLACK phone. I have coral blue as you can see in screen shots, but this will go great with black ones. But, honestly, this case with coral blue is not bad in my opinion.

Need help removing discoloration from a brand new clear TPU case

I just bought a Nillkin Clear TPU case for my phone and after a few days, I noticed some blue and red discoloration near the power button. How do I remove this without damaging the case? The red spot is probably ink, but I don't know. The blue is probably from my denim jeans (though in a few days of use, it shouldn't have discolored that quickly) or from the blue microfiber cloth that I use that bleeds dye when wet.
