1 . INTRODUCTION
HI ALL ! I AM PROUD TO PRESENT A NEW PROJECT :UNOFFICIAL CYANOGENMOD 12 FOR THE I9305 .
WE STILL DON'T HAVE OFFICIAL CM12 AS NO MAINTAINER IS LEFT FOR THE DEVICE ! SO I DECIDED TO WORK ON AN UNOFFICIAL BUILD AND TRY TO GET STABLE CM12.
NOTE : I AM STILL A BEGINNER DEVELOPER SO I MIGHT NEED HELP FROM PRO DEVELOPERS
THIS IS A CM PURE ROM AND NO ADDONS ARE INCLUDED
2 . WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
AS THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL BUILD MANY BUGS ARE EXPECTED .
THE FIRST BUILD IS PREALPHA (DONT KNOW IF IT BOOTS) SINCE MY DEVICE IS NOT WITH ME (IT IS GETTING REPAIRED SO IT NEEDS TIME TO GET IT BACK) SO I NEED TESTERS
MY COMPUTER IS HAVING SOME PROBLEMS SO DEVELOPMENT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT SLOW
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING SPECUALLY UNSTABLE BUILD BECAUSE YOU MAY NOT LIKE THE ROM

Hi mate ! It is hard to be official maintainer! but I ll try to provide a stable cm12 unofficial build

Si I got my phone now! tested the first build ! It booted but I have some issues with wifi bluetooth and ril and the rom was buggy ! so I decided to not upload it and work on a better build
question : my upload speed to mega is very slow ! any better uplaoding site?

I prefer wait more time so rom is more stable, than wait a little and rom is buggy and has issue

You are right ! Unfortunately after I changed some fules in the rom I got bootloop ! so build 1 will take some more time (or if you want I ll upload the bootable build but it is very laggy and have huge problems) buulding a stable cm12 build will take time

Winxuser is already working on cm12 with other people on another thread. Maybe you should join force with them.

yeah sure no worries,, theres nott much i can do as i too an just a noob lol,, ill help in anyway except for 3g as no one has been able to figure it out yet

i also have a build that i built today,, its getting more stable, but just still has 3g,, please let us know if there is any other problems with this rom like gps or sensors, as the t0lte has been having problems with them

[WIP][ROM] PureNexus 7.1 20170519

Lineage & RR are great ROMs (MoKee is a misunderstanding), but I was looking for something lighter on resources.
Since nothing else was on the market, I got to building PureNexus for lithium.
Below is the 1st build; please test & report.
I have not tried it yet as I'm going on a trip.
OP will be corrected after the weekend.
Credits go to Lineage, PureNexus & of course @pappschlumpf.
Missing credits will be added (let me know).
Download: MOD EDIT: Download link removed; the build obviously doesn't boot.

If you want a rom that is stable, fast, light and close to stock aosp with a few important customizations then purenexus is for you.

Low battery usage is my priority so I 'll be using this to see the difference with lineage os, also are there any low battery kernels ?

For me it´s not booting stays on Android logo ( Lineage OS boots perfectly ) . What am i doing wrong ?

He is. That's what we do here. Test and report. Then we thank them from the bottom of our hearts and then (optional) we donate!

Sorry , i am mot a tester, I am a user . And when its good I always donate (Several timies to Papps.. for instance)
N.B : In this case , what do you want to test if it does not even boot.--? (you back your ROM , download this one , install it and it does not boot...if you feel happy with , good for you )

As mentioned in the OP, I posted just before going on a trip & will work on the build once I come back.
I don't have access to my build machine for now.
In the meantime, I thought it would be useful to query for feedback in order to have pertinent data for troubleshooting.
Any such feedback is welcome: have u tried flashing papps' kernel?
Are you able to share logs?

I tried with kernel Papps ...not booting either

A little about me for those who don't know.
I have been building roms since the galaxy s2, I also built for Nexus 10, galaxy s5 and mainly the LG G3.
Once the kernel is released I will start to work on bringing roms, mainly CAF AOSP to our device plus some kernel improvements .
Anyway just wanted to introduce myself. Great phone so far!

I was building pure CAF using the latest code from CAF for my chipset with minimum changes to keep it optimized, not sure ill go the AOSP-EX way.. we'l see

Night light is built in, advanced menu will be added. Not much more then that, the cleaner it is the easier to keep it maintained

@sooti could you try port MIUI to this device? I'm not sure if you need the kernel code or not. And before someone says "Oh, buy the Mi 5X" I can't find the phone in any market from my country.

But... why would you buy this device if you wanted MIUI? in any case, I'm sure someone will port miui, just not worth my time right now, sorry, i'm more interested in overclocking CPU and GPU and other features that can be added into kernel + qualcomm optimizations to stock android, not much more.

Will the kernel also work on Stock ROM? Since CAF kernel normally dont since they're for CAF ROMs only.

The kernel will be shipped with the ROM and is meant to be used with it. in any case, let's not get ahead of ourselves, first Xiaomi need to release the source code

Bro Xiaomi will take another 2 months to release the source code and by that time Mi A1 will also get the Oreo update...though I'm not 100% sure about Oreo update, Xiaomi is always late about releasing the source code :crying::crying::crying:

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][7.1.2][KLTExx] Lineage14.1

Built this to test my environment then noticed that a Lineage14.1 was hard to find in here, so I figured I'd leave this here. Been running it about 5 days now without any problems. I'm on a SM-G900T but was built for any of the normal KLTE GSM Snapdragon versions. I also don't have service on it so couldn't test that, but wifi is working great. Haven't noticed anything not working.
EDIT: Got service on it now...Good to go.

So sorry I didn't see this sooner. Unfortunately, I don't have anything ready to build at the moment, but honestly, had I known the service wasn't working, I wouldn't have shared it. I've been using my AOKP 7.1.2 on 1 and my crDroid 7.1. 2 on the other. But I've never had service on them either.
I think Lineage is a bit plain though I respect it greatly.

Thanks for your feedback. It has all I need too, I'm using it as daily driver and no problems so far. I'm gonna leave my computer building PixelBlaster-Caf and next week I'll rebuild PixelExtended with latest fixes and using my own device tree, which includes latest blobs from 11.0.6.1 .

I ran into a snag , I was unable to to text or recieve phone calls, I have the cricket network, I had to go back to stock , but I will try again later just to be sure there is a problem, I will update when i try it again.

Might I also suggest creating a telegram update channel to publish your ROMs. It'd be very convenient for people who have telegram.
