I'm not able to find an update for my Android car stereo. I see many, but am scared to upload the wrong one and brick my device.

Can anyone tell me what the correct version to update is? and how to, can be custom, just want it to perform beter. Pref a higher Android version if possible.
They say Roadnav is not able to run on this device, but has anyone managed to run on the MTCD? I like the layout

then install newest MCU update (for now its V2.90) from here:
https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/All dmcu for PX3, PX5, Intel Sofia3g/MX/dmcu
ROM has to be for MTCD/MTCE device
MCU has to be for MX (manufacturer)

However, when I use the standard stereo that came with my Peugeot 308, the rear speakers come back to life.
Basically, it's not an issue with the left speaker or the cabling.
I have tried using the Balance app but to no avail.

Your unit is an MTCD type. Head over to the MTCD forums and have a read through to find out.
