I think it's an Android 8 issue because I used to get a number on my Outlook app with Android 7.

hopefully this isnt a dumb question but when i have my phone on vibrate, it never seems to vibrate when i get an email. it vibrates for texts but not emails. i haven't found any gmail notification setting.
Open Gmail app. Menu. More. Settings. Choose your email address. Labels to notify. Inbox. Choose vibrate always.

No problem, GMail recently updated the app and changed the settings. It used to be really easy to find. Now it's hidden in some dark corner of the settings.

Question, is it possible to change the place where the new e-mail, txt msg or missed call notifications appear on the lock screen?

I am currently on CoreDroid 2.7 and utilizing the handcent sms app, I went in the native sms application and disable the notifications of the messages in the notification bar beforehand to still I get these random notification of new text messages.
I have checked everything and still its driving me crazy.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hello I just picked this amazing phone up yesterday and noticed that for SMS when I select I want delivery notifications on it does not show the messages delivered unless you have receieved sms notification on and then I get dual notifications showing as a check mark (normal) on the SMS I just sent and then I get one in the drop down bar as a notification telling me its successful. And when I turn the received SMS notification off I get no notifications at all for SMS being receieved or sent. But I do get the check mark on the SMS I sent... All I want is when I send an SMS, I want it to show it was delivered successfully with the check mark on the SMS alone. Not with a notification ringtone and drop down notification.
I know it was probably confusing but that's all I want. 2.3 did it no problem. So I know it can be done. Could be sense that's doing it too though.

Had anybody found away to have the screen turn on when reciving text messages? I know my Infuse use to have the screen on option in message settings just can't seen to find it on here. I'm using the stock messaging.

That was a touchwiz feature. Try SMS popup from the play store.
