Questions befor rooting - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi guys, I have a few questions before I root my T-Mobile Galaxy s7
1. (I doubt it, but...) Did anyone find a way to root Galaxy s7 without tripping knox? (I heard rumors, but nothing concrete)
2. Which ROM is the most recommended (without all the Samsung bloatware)?
3. Is there a way to revert back to stock (T-Mobile ROM) and unroot the phone?
Thanks

Hi,
1. There is no chance to root without changing the Knox status 0x0 to 0x1.
2. I don't really know, wait other answers
3. Yes you can, just find a official firmware and flash it with Odin and you are go, stock S7 without root, but the Knox will stay 0x1
Cheers

I'm on a custom 5.1.1 rom, custom kernel, KNOX intact, but you do lose fingerprint scanner since you're on a 5.0.2 bootloader

Why you think that i would not search in google?
All what i found are like pingpong, which doesn't wok in 5.1.1 only in 5.0.2 and cf-autoroot which is also only for 5.0.2 and if i flash it, it put my phone to booloop
So i was wondering if there is any other way to root my G920F with 5.1.1 than unikrnel which is only working method i have found...

G920F , not sure if it works on the I or not. You need the engineer bootloader, and I think that only F and T have leaked, but... not sure.

Can I use Xposed on Galaxy S6 without tripping Knox?

Hello,
I used to root my older phones, but since I get my Galaxy S6 I didn't do it because I was told It trips Knox and makes fingerprint, Samsung Pay and warranty useless. But now there's PingPong Root that can root S6 without tripping knox, and I'd like to know if I install Xposed and use some modules, will they trip Knox? Will fingerprint sensor and Samsung Pay work with Xposed and the PingPong Root method?
I have the latest firmware version of the S6 [Android 5.1.1 PDA: G920FXXU3COI9]
I'll be waiting for answers.
Thanks guys!

No im afraid. You see 5.1.1 has attached itself to knox in a way to prevent sam pay when you root specifically ... if only permisive for an instant.

Perfect! But the top thing that Samsung Pay has is the Loop Pay technology for the non-updated payment devices.

Hi guys, just a silly question :)

Hi Guys, can anyone point in me in the right direction? I currently have :
Sony Xperia Z5
Model number: E6653
Android Version: 6.0.1
Build number 32.2A.0.305
Unlocked bootloader.
How would I go about rooting this device? Th Reason why I'm asking is because all the guides I find are for 6.0.0.
Regards,
Robert

Hi, Do i need to downgrade to 6.0.0?
To root and keep all the funtionality intact, yes you need to downgrade and not to 6.0.0 version but to LP firmware .200 or .152 anyone will work.

He said he had an unlocked bootloader meaning he already has his TA keys backed up or they're lost forever. Either way can't he just flash custom recovery and then flash SuperSU zip. That should only take about 5 minutes.

root, recovery, and kernel.

Hi everybody.
I just had the xz F8331. i had the xz premium stone with root and recovery, but my xzP is dead. so I buy the xz. for now I have not done anything with it yet. I will unlock the bl, root, and installed the twrp. if a person has everything they need to perform the procedures it would help me a lot. I do not want to make a mistake. so if someone could help me a little it would be cool. I am with the firmware 192. could you advise me for a high-performance rom on this xperia xz please. I have not yet unlocked the bl so I wonder if there is a fix drm? Thanks in advance for your help. I already read a lot on the forums but I do not understand everything because I am French and not very good in English.

1. downgrade to Android 6.0 and enable usb debugging & EXTRACT TA.img via UNIVERSAL TA BACKUP V2 AKA DIRTY COW SCRIPT
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/universal-dirtycow-based-ta-backup-t3514236
2. ONCE DONE, FLASH latest .192 version again & unlock your bootloader
https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/unlock-bootloader/#unlock-code
flash modded kernel, twrp, drmfix& Magisk via twrp and reboot
