Headphones for my U12+ - HTC U12+ Accessories

Hello U12+ users!
Since the standard in-ear headphones that came with my U12+ have quite a short cord that prove to be unusable for me, I'm looking for good over-ear headphones, preferably bluetooth, for my U12+. I can't figure out which ones would be usable, since there seem to be 'Android compatible' headphones which suggests there are 'Android incompatible' headphones
Is there anyone that can give me more info about this? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I'm using Beoplay H9i, works great for me. Also I have tested my secondary Beoplay E8 (inear). We have in our office Sennheisser PXC550 and Momentum, both worked great.
PS I don't even know there is some Android Compatible. But everything I tested works fine.

Thanks!
Though I think my wife will divorce me as soon as I tell her I'll be buying headphones about half the cost of the already not too cheap phone.
Any less expensive options?

Haha, I know that feeling. I don't bought them aswell, I was just lucky thanks to my job.
Well, I recommend to try something like this: Sony MDR-XB950B1. I think overear headphones by sony can provide you good price and good quality as well.

HTC Nexus One accessories on HTC WEBSITE!!!!!! TRUE

THERE IS A HEADPHONE THAT SUPPORTS THE FM RADIO(sweeeeeeet) time to ask paul about good luck (TONS OF STUFF ) Most will work for nexus one i bought lots of stuff $126.89
Here is the link
http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc_phone.aspx?i=196001
SOME WILL NOT WORK ON NEXUS, but the screen protectors obviously will work
I recently bought the stylus, works like a charm. Good for keeping finger prints off the phone
Lets hope the headphones get the FM radio working!

Peripherals won't activate inactive hardware, especially when there's no code to support those peripherals.
For FM I use the Sony Ericsson MW600. The thing comes standard with a SE X10 so it works fine with the N1. The only thing it doesn't do is list the song on the headset. The FM radio lists the song though.
Did anyone else order???????
i will report as soon as my headphone get to my house, i'm soooooo excited about fm radio.
oh by the way i ordered android sleeve like the nexus1 one. i think it will be alright.

I bought an EU Desire Charger last thursday, arrived yesterday (did import the N1 with US Charger which doesn't work in germany.. got tired of charging via USB)

No the Sony Ericsson MW600 has the FM radio. It's not playing through the N1, rather, the headphone set itself.

I rather get my $575 phone to run a radio, and not pay another 100 for just a radio,if my phone is capable , then it will happen
i just cant believe i paid that much money for accessories. YES CALL ME CRAZY
I even bought all android devices that are available for us t-mobile
have anyone purchase anything that actually worked
I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY STUFF YET(probably because it coming from UK to US)
its a good thing the website I guess BUT dam those are expensive items, is that general prices in the UK ? you can get about the same thing for allot cheaper in the US or Canada,
updated
P.S. sorry got a bit confused with the exchange rate, but they still are more expensive then if buying in the USA.

You think buying some headfones from HTC's site that say for the FM radio will get this working?
Can you not see how crazy that sounds?

Which accessories choose?

Hi everyone! I am SGS owner and i want to uprgarde my gps quality, so i was wondering to buy a bluetooth GPS receiver, but i don't know which one to choose? It will be good if someone can recommend me something. Most importnat for me is quality and also i don't want to buy it for 70£ or more (good prize for me is under 20£).
I also decided to buy car holder and there is same problem, i don't know which one to choose. If someone could recommend me something then please also add ebay or amazone link.
And the last question . On thursday i visit Berlin and if someone knows a good mobile/electronics store when i can buy accessories (screen protectors, silicon case etc.) for my SGS, then please tell me .
*yawn*
Don't bother. Android doesn't support bluetooth GPS. The apps won't be able to use it.

One person in the above link posted a photo of the bluetooth gps unit he's currently using, and I managed to locate it on Ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GLOBALSAT-BT-...CIEVER-G-SAT-NEW-/270627487851#ht_1402wt_1139
Worth taking a look at. And it's not too expensive. Now that I know bluetooth GPS does work on Android, I am quite interested in getting my hands on one as well. The Galaxy S GPS does work, but it's definitely not perfect.
Ok! I think i buy it.

My headset was washed by my washing machine and lost bass?Any way to get a new one?

I was so careless that i forgot to take my new htc headset out of my pocket and then it was washed.I used hair drier to blow hot wind to let it dry.
When it was dry,I use it to listen to music and found that it lost bass.
This headset is from my new Sensation 4G,and i am really sad with it washed.
I just want to change another one, should i go to T-Mobile store? Is it free or how much should i pay?
Thanks.

That headset isnt all that. You could possibly get another directly from HTC, but I wouldnt bother. As the above poster said, try getting a pair from walmart. Ill recommend the JVC Marshmellow line, they have great bass. ive had 4 pairs to date...
Edit: Wallyworld is a nickname for WALMART. You can also get the earphones I recommended for much cheaper at Amazon; any earphones for that matter are cheaper there.

The phone's back cover is free so i wonder if the headset is free as well.
I would try calling HTC and saying the headphones stopped working or one side goes dead...they might just send you out a free pair like they do the backcover.

I personally like the Creative EP-630i (http://amzn.com/B002EL4MY8) - though they are much cheaper over here. They are very comfortable to wear and provide good sound quality. The in-line clicker allows for easy control of podcasts and music playback as well as calls. They provide a microphone for hands-free calling as well - which I use daily.
Any iPhone-compatible headsets are generally compatible with most Android handsets (even Samsungs now, with the GS2) - if you want more control over how the clicker on these headphones (or any other earphones with buttons) functions, get Headset Button Controller from the Android Market http://goo.gl/Dv18m

Android device as a PMP?

Anyone got a suggestion on some good android phones I could look up ebay/craigslist to use as a PMP?
My budget is $100 or so, and I realize I won't get top of the line, but used is fine.
A used Optimus One on various prepaids seems to go for $40-$50, so I'm hoping for something that has a tad better spec.
Pick up a used vibrant and enjoy awesome sound quality with a voodoo sound kernel.. Can be bought for like 125 if you catch a deal.

There's a Samsung Galaxy media player...but it's a bit pricier.
Does it have to be a phone?
Why not just buy a PMP? Where's the necessity that it be Android?
If you looked hard enough, you could probably find a Philips for that price, especially if you're willing to buy used.
But my thoughts are, well, if it doesn't need phoning capabilities, you could probably get more GB for your buck.

You would think, but it's not true. Most MP3 players in the $50 dollar range suck.
Also the galaxy players are, as you saw - pricey. I'm looking for something cheap.
And I want it to be an android because I have a galaxy nexus, so I own paid apps that I could use on it as well.
I found a galaxy S for $65 on craigslist, seems like a pretty good deal as long the phone isn't in terrible condition.

Sounds like you could just use your Nex, but instead you'll then be carrying around a lot of extra functionality (carrying a Nexus around to be used as a phone/surfer and another Andy as a PMP), but I'm not one to judge. To each his own. If it were me, I'd buy another battery for the Nex and use the sh*t out of that! The PPI-count on that thing is sensational!!
An HTC HD2 may be just the device for you, but scoring one for a C-note will be a challange, I'd bet. Hack Android onto it, and BAAAAMMM!!
don't get htc, the audio sucks, even on beats models
(sucks in a comparative sense, not subjective)

I'm looking for a cheap alternative mostly because I will be abusing it more and I want to keep my expensive phone pristine.

The sound on the HD2 sucks. Even with decent headphones. It's not bad over BT stereo, though, considering how bad BT stereo is to begin with. I'm not really an Apple fan, but the iPod Classics have a tremendous sound and enormous capacity. I use a 160GB iPod to tote around a chunk of my collection. The built in EQ is pretty handy as well. You can pick them up used for less than $100 also.
Well I picked up a bootlooping galaxy S for $40. Hopefully I can get it working
The stock recovery was corrupted so the volume keys weren't working.
Oh yeh, got me a working galaxy S! Sure beats any $40 PMP out there!

Definitely louder than stock speaker.
