Has anyone had any luck enabling Oreo to use their SD Card as Adoptable storage?
Also, in general have there been any issues with applications being able to read or write to an SD card? Does the Camera app store pictures there fine? Can you open documents that are stored in SD ok?

I have a Moto G 2014 and the SD card reader is no longer working. It does absolutely nothing when any SD card is inserted.
I had moved most of my apps to an SD card, and now I would like to move them back to internal storage.
The microSD card itself works fine, and is readable from both my Macbook and another phone.
I also have recent Titanium backups if that helps.
So is there any way to move those apps back to internal storage now that the SD card reader is no longer working?

Its possible to move apps to sd by using app2sd or link2sd but u have to root your device first.
I just rooted my Xperia Z Ultra running Lollipop on stock firmware. I was wondering if there's a way to remap my internal SD card to point to my actual external SD card? I want to free up the internal so I have more space for apps. The reason my internal SD is full is because not all apps have external SD card support. So I want to force those apps to write their extra file and whatnot onto my external SD card instead. How do I achieve this?

You should read this thread about moving apps to external storage:
Unable to move Apps to SD Card Samsung A20 on Android 10.
New phone and new SD. I just added an SD card to my A20. I formatted the SD. I have transferred files (varying types - videos, images, pdf, etc) to the SD. I can see the files if I connect the phone to my laptop. (My point here is that I'm pretty sure the SD card is OK.) Now I'm trying to move...

Sorry if it's not the answer you were looking for.
It's not a good idea; the SD card access speeds/transfer rates are slower than internal memory. The data buses don't support the speeds that given to internal memory.
Use internal memory for the OS, apps and the temporary download folder
The SD card as a data drive; all critical data, backups, movies, music etc go here.
Backup the SD card at least to 2 hdds that are physically and electronically isolated from each other.
Use a fast SD card for best results.
I want to keep my files in SD card . Also I want to move apps to SD card at the same time.
I have tried creating 2 partition in SD card using aparted app. Both were in exfat format (means portable). Then I went to settings > storage and formatted one of the partitions as internal storage. But unfortunately both partitions became internal instead of one.

Make your SD card Semi-adopted. Works great!
EDIT: MARSHMALLOW ONLY I hate the small amount of internal memory, but I don't want to make my ENTIRE SD of 128GB Adopted and unremovable. So I found this post describing how to make your SD only partially Adopted by splitting the partition in...
