Hi all, please please help,
I have an S7 and S8 and bot of them fail to connect to my home wifi where my daughters S6 does and every other wifi device is working fine.
Symptoms:
On DHCP they both say cannot get a correct IP address
On static IP they connect but say they dont have internet access
They both connect to my Wifi dongle fine with no issues
I have reset the router and no joy its driving me mad please someone say there is an easy fix for this

hi guys. can you please help me. I've installed 3cxPhone app on my galaxy SII (stock 2.3.3 + CF-Root) and can connect to the provider (12voip, FreeVoipDiscount) when I'm connected thrue 3G but when I try thrue my home Wi-Fi it doesn't connect to the provider server. I guess it's down to some setting inside the application itself but I'm unable to find it.
I've set static IP in SII and tryed to put it in demilitary mode in my home router, no luck.
could it be down to port forwarding in router cos I use Siemens Gigaset Voip station wich uses also port 5060?
when I put the device on the router in demilitary mode it should be able to use any port?

I am trying to connect my Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S6310n with my home Wifi (Access Point) but it doesn't connect with it. It saves the connection but couldn't connect with it.
I checked it with another Router (Access Point) on same network but it also didn't work.
Let me mention my network setup at home. I have ADSL 4 ports LAN modem. I have connected my personal Access Point (Wireless Router) "Motorola Netopia" with ADSL modem and configured it as Bridge. I turned on the DHCP Server on ADSL Modem and turned off it in my Access Point.
I did everything to fix this issue such as changing Encryption type, changing Channels, updating AP firmware and resetting Access Point but didn't fix it.
I also assigned a Static IP address to my phone but this also didn't fix this issue.
So can anyone tell me how to fix it?

I am having a problem that my note10.1 2014 keeps disconnecting from wifi that doesnt have internet connection.
i know my wifi doesnt have internet connection but i want to stay connected to it without using static ip adresses like 192.168.1.128 since i am trying to share information with other android devices on other ranges.*
Is there like an app that can keep me connected to wifi without internet connection or script.

usually i'm a silent user on xda because i find all solutions via search function.
Now i have i strange problem and i can't find a solution.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) with the latest stock Firmware from Samsung.
I have a Pihole (Raspberry Ad-blocking) at home and because of that i have set my wifi settings to static. (Ip, Gateway and DNS).
Now when i'm not at home and open a wifi-hotspot on my Galaxy S7 for my Laptop the laptop connects to the Galaxy S7 Hotspot but i can't access the web.
I found out that my Laptop gets a dynamic IP from the Galaxy S7 but the DNS keeps the same static IP like when i'm at home....
The Problem is i can't change that IP neither on the laptop nor on the Galaxy S7 because i'm not connected to that network (because i'm not at home).
I hope someone can help me.
