Missing fingerprint on Marshmallow

Hi,
I have just changed my branded software to unbranded CE1 CSC and now I have the newest SW with android 6.0, but I can't find fingerpring manager in settings.
I have E6653 version, so it should have fingerprint.
Anyone know how to fix that?

Where you looking in security?

I'm having issues with fingerprint reader, sometimes it unlocks sometimes doesn't, any one having the same issue?

Me too, sometime system gave back "not recognized" or "move too fast" message, I had to use alternative method (here is PIN) or use another finger that was registered before to unlock device.

Sometimes it shows "Fingerprint hardware not available"....

You did factory reset?

Yes, I tried it, but didn't help. I tried to install soft again and use function repair phone in PC companion, but any of them helped.

Flash ur branded version and see if this help.

Yes no problem you can go back to 5.1.1

I flashed branded version and now I see manager in settings, but when I want to setup my finger, the app closes down

SAME!!

I think you guys should send your devices to service to take warranty, maybe you will be gaven by a new one, this's the best solution for now since repairing software didn't work.

Exactly the same thing happened for my Z5 compact.
Please update if there is any progress on this issue.

I received z5 from service, they wrote that in their test, they don't find any problem and they restore software (they install unbranded 6.0, but I sent it with 5..1.1 branded), so I don't know if after my update it didn't work.

Do you have any idea how long HTC normally takes (e.g. on other devices) to run through the stages? Are we talking about a few days/weeks or even some months again?
If i'm asking already: does HTC support firmware updates by custom ROMs or does one have to flash stock bootloader+ROM first? Huawei had something like that and 'just' updating was never as fast as I wish it would have been

Its usually from when it starts rolling out a couple weeks till everyone gets ota... unless something goes wrong

I have the 64GB International model in the US. No update yet. Waiting patiently.

Many problems are mentioned in another thread so it's better to hold on and don't update right away. Let's see the feedback

Mine finally updated tonight to ... 9.0.0.136(C00E130R1P17patch01)

Which update for L29 was the one to enable using a third party launcher? Or are we still waiting for that?

Ah ok. Good. I have Nova Launcher working pretty well actually, there's only one weird glitch, so hopefully that update will make it a smoother experience.
Nova Launcher even stays between reboots.

i still get the camera crashes that i need to reinstall.. hope i get an update quick..

I bought mine too in Germany last week and also on 132 but never had a camera crash so far. Maybe a factory reset will fix the problem

Could we please state the model# in the title? such as AL00 and L29.

You have the android One variant. That's the only U11 Life getting pie.

But the phone itself was not bought directly from T-Mobile.

HTC U12+ - NEW OTA Wont Install?!

Hi all,
I just got a new OTA update form my firmware...
although it won't install on my phone for some reason, it just downloads...
File name: "OTA_IMAGINE_DUGL_P90_SENSE10GP_MR_HTC_Europe_2.55.401.1_R-2.55.401.1_release_549055s9q6pz2h8oow5ojn"

re-installing the ROM from the SD card card fixed the problem and allowed the update to work... although disappointed... as I though it may have been an intermediate update to then get me on to Android 10 lol... it was only a patch...
I'll leave the above info and link for anyone that may be interested in downloading the patch manually...
