Dear all,
I have a german S7 recently upgraded to Oreo ( stock firmware no custom rom) . I just realized that i can not scroll in the google schedule widget. If i swipe down from the top o the display to see future events it stays static. Instead it brings up the application drawer instead of scrolling on the widget.
Is this expected behavior?

-next alarm
-weather
-tasks from gmail
Top wanted app for calendar. I used status agenda but don't refresh automaticly, only in chosen refresh time.

i guess that not exist, i see today this exactly function in a concept of 4.4 kit kat on youtube
but strange thing is this, i don't have google calendar entry in nitification area on 4.1.2. I read ot this and new calendar on 4.1.2 have nitification. can anyone help my turn it on?
I have a problem with the search function in the recent apps panel. I uninstalled the system Google Search app, but after I noticed it got rid of the widget in the recent apps panel, I reinstalled the app, but it didn't come back.
One picture is how the recent are supposed to look and the other one is how mine looks.
Any idea how to fix? (Apart from flashing a clean stock ROM/factory reset?)
Note: 'Kan widget niet toevoegen' on the picture is Dutch for 'Can't add widget'
Are Lollipop 5 overview / recent apps in landscape listed top to bottom? Putting apps list down low to keyboard height (if needed) - obtain something similar to KitKat 4 cover flow recent apps layout (listed left to right)
I'm not on Lollipop yet.
I just tried the Lollipop 5 carousel recent apps switcher (overview?) in a store with the Nexus 9, and once I had few apps open, some of the apps were covered, and in the top and back.
I use a Nexus 10 that is placed on a surface, and I think that I would have to keep lifting my palm to reach the thumbnails at the back and top.
The KitKat 4 recent apps (cover flow?) are at the same height of the top row buttons of the stock Android keyboard, and are thus easily reachable.
Perhaps the Lollipop recent apps view that I saw that had the apps out of keyboard-level reach was only for portrait view?
But then I found this site with a picture of the Lollipop recent apps in landscape view:

sarriest.wordpress/com/2014/12/01/lollipop-sweet-or-not-sweet/[/url]
I can access 6 apps in KitKat 4 recent apps, and they’re all at keyboard level.
I am concerned that even in landscape view, the recent apps in Lollipop 5 will be listed top to bottom, and there will be less apps at keyboard level.
I see another article that has this picture of a grid view of the running apps.

I initially thought that you had 2 choices in Lollipop: grid and carousel.
It looks like having the choice of 2 options might just be for the HTC SenseUI.
Is the carousel recent/running apps switcher the only available option for Lollipop 5?
Are 3rd party apps allowed to let you choose a grid view, cover flow view, etc.?
I'm seeing mention of recent apps modifications with Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android, Xposed, etc..
Does that mean that mean that you might need to root to change the recent apps layout?
Thanks.
Hi,
I have a 920F with XtreStoLite 2.4 rom and Hacker v7 kernel, and I have some problems:
1. Is there a way to turn off the "Connected to Wi Fi network ..." toast? - when a call wakes up the phone the toast is on top of the answer/reject buttons for a few moments. I fount some tutorials on Xda but the files don't match.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449683 (i don't have SecSettings.apk)
2. On my old S3 with cm11 displayed one line under the clock widget for upcoming calendar events (birthdays especially). Is there something similar to that, something simple not a full page like the Google calendar widget?
3. Is there a way to make a shortcut for the alarm (Google clock app) on the home screen?
Thank you!

Is it possible to change this behavior that the home screen icon for newly installed apps gets placed on the second page every time?
I've just flashed my SM-N986B back to original stock (reverting A11->A10 because of missing GoodLock support) but the icons still get placed on the second page.
-There is a lot of free space for icons on the "main/only page" of home
-I've even deleted all the pages (only home remained) , but after installing any new app there is a new page created and the icon gets placed there
-In DEX there is no option to rearrange the phone home icons and its annoying to move the icons one by one for every application I install
I've tested this on OneUI 3, OneUI 2.5, CPL and BlackBerryLauncher but found no solution.
Thank you in advance for any suggestion!

I don't know why it adds new apps to a second home screen when there is room on the existing home screen, but you can disable the behavior by going into home screen settings and disable the option to add new apps to the home screen.
