Hi! I have an old nexus 5 ho have a screen problem, the screen only show color dots (look at the pictures). I've tryed to change the screen but i have the same issue!! [emoji24][emoji24] Anyone know what could it be?? A mainboard failure??

Okay, I see them now. Since you changed the screen and the problem is still there, it's probably a problem with the motherboard.

I don't know of any way to fix it because it could be the cable connector on the motherboard.
If you can find a used nexus 5 with a broken screen and working motherboard for a cheap price, go for it.

It's best to try out different ROMs as people have different requirements.

Not true, i changed it before and styll having dots, it's a motherboard failure, i think ther's no way to fix it... Maybe changing screen conector? I don't know ??

Personally, I like a rooted stock ROM.
The best rom is the last rom you flash.

in the pic u posted it shows the ucll3 radio which is not a jb radio therefore not a 4.1.2 jb stock firmware

u stated u flashed jb stock firmware, if u did u shouldnt have the ucll3 radio, what rom or firmware did u actually flash.
u can just flash a jb radio first to see if it works, dont know if that will fix nfc, on cm nfc turns on but i never used it so idk if it actually works or what radio u need for it to work

edit: if all else fails flash stock firmware using instructions from link in my sig
you also need to do more reading and understand what radios, roms and firmware are

I just install it and now fc for the moment. I don't test all for the moment but when I plug the audio in jack, the LGMusic work

Please try this from g4. Isn't a flash zip...so you have to move the files manual and give the right premisions on the folder and files!

It never worked if you went into location in setting.

The picture looks like the settings I modified to enable the toggle switch but it didn't do anything since the code never existed.

It comes with the January security patch + general fix and improvements. It also includes Android 6.0.1's new emojis but it still says 6.0 in the version info.

Odd, I've just flashed the latest firmware and it still says December security patch.
I wonder why, I'm using Canada variant on wind mobile.

I've uninstalled it and now I can't OTA.
EDIT: I've managed to extract BRApps2.apok from system.img, HOWEVER, update stops saying "/system/app/Chrome/Chrome.apk has unexpected contents (Status 7)". How come??

What I have done, is to install AA on top of BA for local improvement, and system reconnects it as update. They are exactly the same less for the Atmos equalizer, because in the UE they do not have the rights acquired by 1+

Just download the global rom (top link) from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/android-q-4th-developer-preview-t3953997 and Flash it using local update in settings, system, system updates, 3 dots in corner, local update.
I'm on the GM1913 in the UK and this got my EQ back, but only when connected to Bluetooth headphones or over USB c audio
