I was trying to rebrand my Mate 9 AL00 (8.0.0.3XX) to C432/C636 Oreo. I first backed up the oeminfo with TWRP and exchange the backup files with C432’s oeminfo which is downloaded from a guide post on xda. I can enter the system, but the system shows the model number is MHA-L29 without any region code. The system version is “System 8.0.0.046(0C5R)”. (pic 1) No update is available for this system version. The original guide suggests to use Huawei official e-recovery to download the firmware but this doesn't apply on my case.

I tried to restore my oeminfo but on fastboot screen, it says ‘phone locked FRP locked’ in green colour. I checked my phone’s bootloader and figured out it has been locked again. In developer’s option, the OEM unlock option is grey with switched off status.
I am feeling like trapped in an endless loop:
OEM unlock option unavailable → can’t unlock bootloader → can’t get TWRP → can’t get oeminfo restored → can’t get proper OS back → OEM unlock option unavailable
Really really appreciated that if anyone could help me with this.
anyone please

If I still go ahead and use
Code:
fastboot oem unlock [unlock key here]
I get failed message.

So I wasnt able to use GPay anymore when I rooted my device a month or two ago. Understandable.
To fix that, I've tried unrooting: didnt work. Now I reinstalled OOS entirely, wiped the whole device first, and it still doesnt work.
Do I need to lock the bootloader again or what are the criteria to get the certification?
Here some screenshots

Wipe all is different with erase all, if you really want to wipe all use toolallinone firmware recovery flash and select wipe all and reboot options. Gpay probly sees the root files or magisk manager somewhere still
I don't really think that that was the case. I wiped everything in TWRP and then formatted the data as well.
In case someone else is facing this problem, this is what I did:
Boot into fastboot and re-lock the bootloader.
Code:
fastboot oem lock
I was then only able to boot into fastboot, and since the bootloader is locked, you can't boot into TWRP etc.
You then turn off the device and use MSM Tool to re-install OOS.
I need help removing the custom ROM FRP lock in my S7 but i don't know the CSC or what carrier it was originally form as i got it used, anyone who can help would be in my debt. i should note that the Smart Switch method doesn't work as it wont connect properly via USB.
I am open to any and all solutions and/or alternatives.
would it be easier to just send it in or buy a octoplus stick?
EDIT: I don't have anything important on it so I'm fine if i have to reformat or wipe the PIT
EDIT2: I think it may have been Bell but I'm not 100% sure

I'm not sure what do you mean, you mean:
You have a custom ROM that has a FRP Lock? if so, then you probably have TWRP, which makes it super easy to solve!
You have a stock ROM, but you tried to play with OS probes and ended up with an error regards uncertified modifications? Then it's also easy to solve, check the internet, there are guaranteed ways of passing FRP even on Binary 8 Firmware.
The 2nd methods works if you can actually boot into system*
You may check the recovery and the logs to find what Firmware is on your phone, and which CSC/PDA it has, and yes, the stock recovery has the ability to show you them.
At this point idk what to do. I guess i unlocked the bootloader properly (since where i've read about it said that if the OEM button in developer options is grey it means it's properly unlocked) and also downloaded the right fimware from both frija and samsung fimware downloader. I double checked if the fimware was right by typing *#1234# in the dialer and seeing the fimware details, all was correct. Patched the .tar trought magisk properly, actually i followed this tutorial from here (bc it seemed the same for all samsung models), but everytime i flash the archives with odin, after it's done i get "secure check fail: recovery.img" (if i selected recovery in magisk) or "secure check fail: boot.img" (if i didn't selected recovery)
Idk what to do. I'm a noob but i've rooted other phones before and i'm lost rn bc i'm doing everything that it was suposed for me to do. Help please?

Hey
I did that, my problem is bc i want to do root and i'm not being able to since everytime i try i get this
Yes. I know this Zenpad S 8.0 is a really big problem and I think nobody can help me has it is a complete mess. But i'll ask anyway. I don't manage to unlock OEM on my tablet. The option doesn't appear in the Developer options, as my phone and other tablet it appears. I tried litterally every tutorial on the internet but I can't manage to do it. When I try to unlock it via fastboot, it says :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and when try the fastboot boot command, it just says
and the logs on my device say " RESULT : FAIL(command not allowed in this device state " and some kind of variable is appearing on a line : asus_internal_unlock 0 . I think that means oem unlock is disabled but there isn't any option to unlock it.I really need help, please. An already thank you for your help.
Unlocking the bootloader simply isn't allowed by OEM. Live with this.

So I'm asking WHY only this model of tablet in the world doesn't allow it And yeah I accept that
