"Settings stopped" when entering Display - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

Recently I updated to OOS 5.1.9 and flashed Magisk and TWRP afterwards. Now, when I try to enter the display settings, settings force close and reopens again. It only happen with display. Tried already to reboot, uninstall Magisk but nothing helped.
Any help?

Me too... Some ideas?
I think that my problem was flash kernel with avenger theme previously installed.

That was the problem. You have to disable themes first.

I think it's still in the data partition with the theme, but I'm not sure. You can try to wipe system and flash the full oos zip. You could also restore previous working version and just disable theme, then flash version you want without losing data.

Problem solved.
Install flash kernel in twrp, then flash enable avengertheme. Then dont fc in settings display. After This you can enable or disable theme or you can disable theme, install disableavengertheme in twrp and problem solved forever but without possibility to enable avenger theme.

when you say "then the bug again" you mean in the same custom rom the bug ocurrs?
try flashing stock or restore backup then wipe everything, you should still have root and if it reads music it means it is a problem with the apps you use

Google Gapps MIUI V7 4.4.4 or CM 5.1.1 for Xiaomi Mi4

Hi, guys.
I'm looking for a full Google gapps for MIUI v7 on my Xiaomi MI4 and a full gapps for CM12.1, not a mini gapps.
And I found OPEN gapps and TK gapps were really not fit for these two ROMs.
I have already checked it for several times, but they still didn't work.
Can anyone help me to find it?
Or did I do something wrong when I flash the gapps???
Need extended partition for full gapps
Enviado desde mi MI 3W mediante Tapatalk
MIUI Has only 640mb x 2 partitions so it doesn't have sufficient space to flash full gapps,
Solution: Extend your partitions
Google a bit u will get to know

MI 4C bootloop after flash su binary

Whenever I'm going to flash the binary su via TWRP most updated I give wipe cache and start my cell normally it is locked in the boot screen logo and it will not come out of no way, no way I do in my root MI 4C? I'm on the latest version of the rom stable and wanted to know if you have how to flash the binary su without getting in bootloop time the flash all OK gives no error in history there's TWRP but when I start the phone it is always on the screen please help to boot
first of all I'm sorry for my English because I am using Google translator
Reflash full rom zip, wipe caches, then flash superSu Zip, then reboot. Wait at least 10-15 minutes.
as well reflash rom? I'm good in the original version of miui friend how I can do this procedure? you mean reinstall stock and reflash the supersu?
my goal is to root in the stock rom original miui
The last working superSu version is 2.46. Leter versions will cause in bootloop.
In MIUI 8 oficial you have to disable dm-verifiy for install SuperSu, Xposed...

It is to do root in miui v7? and V8 is in beta and is full of bugs

I was in the original rom miui V7 and gave flash torque appeared all OK there in the TWRP history but in time to start it only gets in the logo screen
I just did this root procedure as I had already done with any other cell using TWRP only if mine is entering bootloop
First do a clean flash of your miui rom and boot it up. (dalvik, cache and data wipe)
After that go back to recovery and flash superSu 2.46 without any wipe.
If it's fine, rollback your miui backup.
I had seen a topic there in the miui forum and managed to disable DM-Verify the problem was that it is a software that blocks changes in the system and partitions even if the bootloader was unlocked but thanks for the help I could ever do root in my MI 4C

Brick or Hardbrick

Hello, I have a serious problem.
I have installed the Revolution OS (formatting previously the corresponding, from a xiaomi.eu ROM), but the device does not advance, it is stuck in the splash screen.
Any suggestion, I can't get into the recovery.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I know, but I knew I'd get a much quicker response here.
Could you tell me how to use it? I've downloaded several programs, but none of them get me where I need to go.
Among them is the one you mention.
Thanks again.

Surely, but it needs a prepared ROM, I think you can only download from that software, even if you don't pay much attention to me, I'm not an expert.

Yes, some roms are packaged to be flashed directly from fastboot, some are packaged as a zip to be flashed from recovery.
