I am currently on build number BG2-W09C100B008. Just bought the tablet. Weirdly, this firmware is not even listed here: (cant post link, but it's at huawei-firmware [DOT] com [SLASH] phone-list [SLASH] huawei-mediapad-t3
Tried going directly to the newest one there, but it just goes into recovery boot loop. How do I update the tablet to 7.0?
Hello, sorry for bringing up an old thread but I am also wondering if we can flash the nougat rom BG2-U03 over BG2-W09.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and happy 2019!

BG2-W09 has different SoC
For anybody else who has high hopes when dropping into this old thread.
BG2-W09: MTK MT8127 WIFI-only
+
BG2-U03: Spreadtrum SC7731G 3G GSM/UMTS
=
Soup Sandwich !!! or in other words A MESS.
Different SoC, hardware and genetics. Don't try it, it will not work, at all.

Hi,
I have read through the other posts but cannot determine if my build (H.6.6-30) is compatible with the US image for the MZ604.
Here are more data that might help:
Android ver. 3.2
Frmwr conf version: GAS_NA_HUBBLEWIFICANADA_P009
I purchsed the Xoom (Wifi only) here in TN. It perplexes me as to how it has Canadian firmware.
I would like to upgrade to the newest Android version(s) but the Xoom tells me I have the latest update.
Any advice will be greatly apprreciated. I have downloaded the Moto USB drivers and the SDK package to my WIN 7 PC.
Best regards,
Jeff

yes, the reason for your problem is likely that it was originally from a different location (w/ diff build number) then returned (or possibly went unsold) and was made available for sale in the US.
this thread is from someone with the same problem as you (I also had this problem, but mine was from the netherlands)

here is the actual process used to make reset your mz604 to the US version which gets updates>>>>>very easy process if you are familiar with cmd/sdk

I got a new phone today the ZTE Nubia Z5s Mini I noticed there is an update available but have some questions maybe someone could help, I bought the phone from China so no support available to me.
The update boots into a Chinese menu and I'm not sure as to which menu to select to upgrade the software, its currently Android 4.2.2 Custom ZTE Rom.
Since I bought the phone from China does anyone know if I will loose the English language if I update or any of the English functions?

I have the same model and i quess that this Unicom edition is for another model maybe. Kitkat and UI 2.0 that X6 "wears" is almost ready for Z5, Z5 mini and Z5s mini.
Looking for any help and or success of replacement of recovery image, as well as Lollipop upgrade, on a Acer Iconia One 7 16Gig B1-730 (non-HD).
I was able to upgrade to KitKat, ROOT just fine(using "IntelAndroid-FBRL"), and able to apply SD Card Patch... l but I really want to unlock bootloader(2.0) and install CWM or TWRP custom recovery to allow Lollipop upgrade, but have not found anything that succeeds. There is virtually nothing out there on this particular model. Thanks in advance. My specific model is:
Acer Iconia One 7 Model: B1-730_2Ck_L16T P/N: NT.L4LAA.001
Image Version: Acer_AV0K0_B1-730_RV01RC01_WW_GEN1
Image Build #: Acer_AV0K0_B1-730_1.004.00_WW_GEN1
Image P/N: NPAA0.01H
Kernal Version: 3.10.20
IAFW Version: F9-EE
DROIDBOOT BOOT Loader Version: 2.0
PRODUCT: B1-730_WW_GEN1
Android System Recovery <3e> Acer_AVOKO_B1-730_1.004.00_WW_GEN1
I found these links...but I think they are bogus as they don't seem to work with this model as indicated...as ROM Manager and TWRP Manager don't list out any recovery image compatible.

Root worked fine using instructions from the IntelAndroid-FBRLhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/intel-android-devices-root-temp-cwm-t2975096 thread on this forum.
working ADB Drivers for this was a bit of a challenge to find...but finally found a properly working driver here: http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/ACER/Tablet.html
tried this tutorial on unlocking the boot loader:
http://www.unlock-bootloader.info/2014/12/acer-b1-730-6931.html
...but did not work.

How did you update it to KitKat?
I'm planning to buy this non-hd version, but it seems there's no official kitkat update, let alone roms.
Thx.
It updated to kitkat automatically from Acer updater as soon as I turned it on. I then rooted afterwards.

Man. I was really happy to see this post. I though I was the only one who was finding a ROM but it looks like we can't have an unlocked bootloader. Really sad. I hope Acer can update it to Lollipop.
there's this link that i also found but i am hesitant to use it on my wife's acer iconia one 7 b1-730 cause am not sure if it's legit.
i hope you guys can check it and post back if its really working.
thanks

No, dont try It, these sites are deffinitly fakes. I found 1, where some people says, they installed android 6.0 on alcatel OT 991. Just google that phone, it cant run even 3.0!
And this site: http://www.lollipop-roms.org/

Try one right for your model.
Haven't try any.
Hello everybody,
My 10 year old daughter got a tablet bought on AliExpress as a gift.
When I turn it on, the Mediatek screen appears in boot.
The model is a TAB910 with the Chipset: MT6797.
I put you the report created by DROID INFO in PDF format.
My question: is there a custom rom for this tablet?
Because it is noted android 9 but in reality it is android 4.4 with SDK 19.
I don't know if it is rooted.
Thank you for your reply.
Regards
Christophe
Return the tablet to AliExpress and request refund of purchase price because you have been cheated.

I am sure there is. One that is made by someone in China somewhere. I have a few with custom Roms on them but to get a custom rom to redo one is hard to get so I just take these as a loss till I am able to find a site to get it
