Context Awareness APK - LG G7 ThinQ Themes, Apps, and Mods

Can someone provide an upload of this apk?
This appears to be disabled on Verizon phones in system settings and I am trying to develop a workaround.
Thanks!

Here, it's from a g710awm, hope it helps.

[Q] Youtube & picasa upload needed in Dexter's ROM someone help.

I have XT720 I am using Dexture's ROM I am interested in using features like youtube upload as there is no camera icon coming which can let us shoot and upload nor there is upload feature in settings which helps us to upload from the mobile. There is share feature missing in the gallery to upload to Youtube. Similarly there was feature in gallery to share images to picassa it is also missing. I have alternatives to do it. But this community has made me more demanding. Thanks to all the efforts & good work.
We are here still using XT720 because of you people. It is one of the phone which the company itself has not possibly be able to deliver what is required.
LOL to all who made this possible. Thanks
have if I understand, you need to upload your videos to YouTube after making a recording? If so, you need to have an account created on the website of youtube, and mobile settings will give an address, which you must enter the app from the video camera, and after recording, you can upload them.
You can enter a "quick send" address in MediaGallery too.
thanks to both of you for replying and giving post some of your precious time. I know both of these alternative. I am currently using these only. I am currently willing to uninstall and reinstall the youtube app. As within you tube there is upload trigger. I have signed youtube app as well. It is just unsuccessful to uninstall the version already installed in Dextre's ROM version. I know i am being demanding about specific feature. But thanks to all talented people around the community, they gave me this liberty.
I recently installed root explorer & uninstalled the Youtube.apk from my phone went to market and reinstalled the latest version ( though it was very same version already installed ). Now that i managed to install new version from market it is still not active please someone suggest where should i work to bring this upload feature. I will try to pull this work up. I want to help though i have no much idea. Your kind suggestions might take us a step ahead. Please let me know. Thanks for time and patience with me...

App geo-restrictions how to circumvent

I can't really find an appropriate forum for this question, so I'll leave it here, hoping that moderators will move it to a more appropriate place if it does exists.
When I log on to Google Play some applications will not be available to me due to geographical restrictions. But in my world electrons knows no national borders. I have tried logging on through VPN (and I do find more apps that way) but Google obviously have my devices pegged down to my current country. I have even reset my device to factory, established VPN and created a new Google account through the VPN connection, in the fervent hope of getting access to some apps that I desire. Still no dice.
Is there any method that will enable me to get hold of those apps? Is there a mirrored site? Anyone that has any kind of suggestion is welcome with input, because I'm at my wits end.

you appear to be from a horribly dangerous country, so I am not sure if I should help you.... I don't know of a way to get around that type of block, but if you can get the .apk file downloaded then you can install it by tapping it in ES explorer if you have the "unknown applications" option checked in your security settings for most ICS roms.
I think Market Access or Market Enabler will do the trick.

This.....
My suspicion is that the VPN your using is based somewhere that still has restrictions in place, therefore you may well be seeing more apps yet some are still missing... maybe...
Try the suggestions above though, much less hassle....
And by the way, this is Off Topic, your question is very much on topic. You couldn't have picked a worse place to post if you had tried.
Unless your trolling us... In which case, good job. :highfive:
I couldn't find a sub-forum that dealt specific with Google Play. Can I assume that Market Enabler is available through Google Play?

I've not tried this myself, but it looks like it should do the trick...

That did look like the real deal, unfortunately it wouldn't let me download.
After several tries it did download.
Yes, it has potential, but there are still restrictions activated. Unless you can spoof deviceID and SON I doubt that you can access apps set up with restrictions (and I'm not talking about paid apps here), just restricted to carrier or country.

Yeah but they prefer if you take the water to them...

I'm just not tech savvy enough to do things like spoof deviceID or find the right SON for a certain carrier.
That is why I'm dependent on the good will of technical geniuses like you guys.

DEV REQUEST: POP3 Settings change

Hi this is an urgent request to all developers, especially those with big hearts.
I need a way to reconfigure my POP3 server settings on my phone without going through the standard mail app.
I am running an HTC ONE MINI Android 4.3 (A UK VODAFONE Stock ROM).
I have 463 mails in my mail app (and not on the server). I need to keep these but change the in and out mail server settings and account details.
When I do this in the mail app it warns me that the account and mails will be deleted. However, I only want to change the server details - my email address will be staying the same.
I need to find a way to stop this deletion.
Perhaps a script that can poke the values in the system internals may do this.
So is there a developer, with a big heart, who understands the mail settings in Android who can help me?
All thoughts and code will be hugely appreciated and will be recognised as best I can,
Many thanks,
Sam.
that is interesting, maybe a backup / restore app could be your solution, but it would be interesting if someone comes up with a fix
If you're rooted, it should be doable. Offhand, those settings are in /data in an sqlite3 database. Download an sqllite editor on the market, browse around for the file, open it, and edit the values for the servers. If that's gibberish to you, as long as you're rooted I can write you up a more detailed guide later.
Thanks so much for the information. Sadly I am pure stock...happy to be rooted - is this a relatively painless task or will it cost me data?
If you could consider a slightly more detailed guide I, and likely a fair few others in days to come, will be greatly indebted to you...
once again many thanks for taking the time to help,
Sam

[Q] Requesting help with the acquisition of an insidious application.

Good afternoon dear forum dwellers,
I find my self facing a very steep obstacle related to an application. My agricultural family requires the application in order to conduct normal work. The issue i am faced with is two fold. I am unable to download/install the application due to either region restriction or phone restriction.
The notorious application is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yara.checkit
So i request the aid and wisdom of those of you that possess far greater abilities than i, in solving this perhaps simple conundrum. My request is the following: Would it be possible for someone to download that application and sub sequentially sent me the .APK file of it so that i may install it manually. Alternatively i am open to any and all suggestions regarding the resolution of the above issue.
Thank you for your time, and i apologies if this post is not in the correct section of the forum,
Humbly yours,
Shallowmist
(PS: I have contacted the application developer regarding the same resolution i have suggested, unfortunetly the support was.... How should i put this? The support leaves a'lot to be desired.)

i might be, other users upload it, if theres lots be careful what you get because people are bums and they could load it up with Ads or a survey you must do to unlock the app. so you said you talked to the app developer? why not ask him for a apk file?

I did ask them for the apk file they had no idea wtf i was talking about. I got 2 women one on the regular support line one on the "computer service desk" they seemed very surprised anyone was calling them at all, and neither wanted to help. So i don't think the support is going to be the way to go for this.
