LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. mailru: lineage-15.1-20180714-UNOFFICIAL-f1f.zip
gdrive: lineage-15.1-20180714-UNOFFICIAL-f1f.zip
How to install?
To install this you need spectrum project unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed. Use this instruction to install spectrum project https://forum.xda-developers.com/oppo-f1/development/rom-twrp-flashable-project-spectrum-t3678445
After installing spectrum project you can install this lineage build using TWRP recovery. To install Oreo custom roms you need at least TWRP version 3.2.0 recovery. Here is my twrp 3.2.1 build: mailru oppo-twrp-3.2.1-test02.img or gdrive oppo-twrp-3.2.1-test02.img mirrors.
Upgrade from my Lineage 14.1 build should work too.

I'll be trying this ROM for my girl, but please is it possible for you to find out a way to port stock camera to your ROM? If it isn't possible then it's fine though.
Man
U are the boss ❤
Been using the last build u made and now the accelerometer also works ❤❤
Will try ❤
How about the battery drain? Is there no such issue in this rom?
Bugs or not don't know
If charging sound is kept on
It keeps on playing nonstop until restart

Yes the normal incorrect values shown is three most probably
Sometime it seems normal and sometimes abnormal :3
Installing it right now. I checked your Gerrit patches, I'm really astonished by your dts files modifications, don't know how you guessed those values.
If I have time I'll try to fix bugs (if I can…).

No bugs found so far just needs some improvement in battery reportings and VoLTE needs to be added ..
I think we are good to go official
Lol no way. My retired f1 might need to get booted up. Where have you been all of its life ?

Yeah the battery readings are faulty :3
Been charging my mobile for sometime draining it still stuck at 2% ? but it is actually charging
The battery consumes too fast ?
Is there anyway we can get the accelerometer working in the nougat build?
As phonw doesn't charge in this build i meant ultra slow charging

If you mean a zip patch or something then no ,
But you can add it to your sources and compile a rom with accelerometer working.
PS
Also you need to pull logs everytime you find a bug , if you want a developer debug it
After a few hours of tests, here are my findings:
LED notification seems to be missing (or I couldn't find where to enable it)
It's rock stable! Amazing!
Pictures quality are inferior to ColorOS (same quality as in Spectrum, it seems that a beauty filter on portraits is still engaged)
GPS first fix time is a bit longer (~20s instead of ~5s)
LTE/H+ works great (can't test VoLTE, no carrier with this feature yet in my country)
Bluetooth & Wi-Fi are working perfectly for me
Double tap 2 wake (dt2w) is working great
Battery life is OK but battery usage statistics are not trustworthy (I got 113% on applications usage)
What are your finding?
For me, it's definitely a daily driver :good: Big thanks to @highwaystar_ru and the LineageOS devs.

Agree with you , for the VoLTE it doesn't work , needs to be enabled
The battery charging stats dont update if full drained
The ROM is soooo stable ?
The only issue for me here is the battery, if only someone could make a fix for the battery issue this is going to be my permanent ROM ?

I think I love you. Thanks for the hard work.
For those are wondering, yes I've built the CM13 too but I have a weird and annoying bug there. For some reason Google's Location Provider causes random memory corruptions which lead to many random reboots when you're connected to a wifi network. Without a WiFi connection presence the device bootloops endlessly (we actually had a similar issue with moto msm8916 family but the problem was explicit there, here it's not). Nougat isn't affected by this bug, so that's why I'm directly publishing CM14.1 and skipping CM13
I think i love you too, very very thanks for the hard work
Does this work for the dual sim model? ("retla release channel")?
Skipped right over 6.0 and 7.0 and right to 7.1, Heh. My moto x pure isnt even on 7.1 yet. Awesome work!
What about encryption, does CM 14.1 Will encrypt when I set up the fingerprint scanner? Because I don't want encryption in my phone, I want to get the most of the SD625. Thanks.

No, I've disabled forced encryption on cm but you have to erase userdata through fastboot to get rid of encryption. Wipe data from TWRP isn't enough.

Camera stack is closed source on most of devices, motos included. On Nougat Google has done a lot of changes to the camera sources, so our prebuilt files find a new "unknown evnironment" while they expect the Marshmallow one.
There currently are some workarounds for this but nothing changes on this device; probably because of some changes made in our stack for the hasselblad camera module.
Do you think it will be possible to get moto mods working on custom roms? Is it something like the camera where we just need the blobs for 7.0 and integrate them into the kernel and all that or would it be a complicated mess to get them working at all?
Perhaps I'll be flashing this, how stable is it beside the camera and torch bugs? Are you using it as your daily driver?
Also, what gapps should I download? 64bit?
Hey bro, and Moto G 2015? ?

The Snapdragon 625 that's in our devices is 32-bit, so you wouldn't use the 64-bit GApps.

Im pretty sure our snapdragon 625 is not 32-bit, it is definitely built on aarch64. I think they just built the stock rom for armv7 or aarch32 which our processor is still compatible with. Probably because there isnt much of a reason to compile for aarch64. Taking a guess, I would think that this rom is 32-bit as well because the kernel source for our device would be based off of stock, I can easily be wrong about this though.
This is for Build Number MPN24.104-44 ? Indian Dual Sim.
Thank u so much man for working on this rom. Was regularly checking everyday for any Nougat rom and saw this. Very Happy. But I use my camera a lot so can't flash it right now. Hope the bugs get resolved pretty soon. Thanks for the rom again

I tested it and everything works (except for the camera for reasons already stated). In order for me to get a similar experience to Moto Display I found this app and it works almost as good on CM.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.compass.ambiturner
The only bad thing is that you have to purchase Pro to get Wave to Wake, but it is worth it in my opinion.

Dear Op, first thanks for this initiative. I just wanted to know why starting a new development LOS 16.0 for our device ? There is already an existing thread. Is it a technical issue or a different approach ? I am just curious. I guess the goal is to get Official LOS status, why not joining forces then ? Thanks a lot.

You can say just a new approach i.e. weeklies ...i cant tell abt but this will here always
So you're going to update it with every bugfix from LOS ?
Merging every week, right ?
How can we update ? OTA is working ?
I'm on last beta GLOBAL MIUI 10 ROM, not sure I will have all features like fingerprint or face unlock but LOS is a great ROM.
How are notch and notification icons managed ?
Time on left + only one notification icon + dot ?

The ROM is really smooth, I didn't encounter any problem except the ctsProfile test in Safetynet.
Fortunately, the fix is easy :
Replace the value in ro.build.fingerprint to this in /system/build.prop :
ro.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/tulip/tulip:8.1.0/OPM1.171019.011/V10.2.2.0.OEKMIXM:user/release-keys
Hope it works !

I flashed this ROM a month ago, works fine apart from two problems:
- The camera works fine in photo mode, but when I switch over to video mode and try to start recording, I get "Camera error, Can't connect to the camera". Any ideas?
I replaced the stock camera with snap camera, that works fine and can also record videos
- Duolingo just randomly crashes shortly after startup. Might be a problem with the app itself or the app needs Gapps to run (I don't have any form of Gapps on my phone)

Important Information
1. This ROM has nothing related to ODM images! So you don't need to ask/install anything like that, just follow the instructions.
2. This ROM will never work with any versions of Google Camera (GCam)!

Just curious - what is it about the ROM that will make it never work with GCam?
Tks for your work for kugo.
Thank you @Chippa_a! Been hoping we'd see something new for the XC for months now. I still have a couple and will definitely be testing this rom on one of them.
Great performance and battery so far. Curious as to why GCam/Raw camera support does not work on this rom but does on Omni and AOSP? Is it possible for future builds?

Because of the 3.10 kernel.
Thank you for the great job! I'm using this rom, very fast and stable, also battery seems to be good. The only problem I found is not working fingerprint unlock for the apps (for example PayPal), while the phone fingerprint unlock works well.
This is INSANE! I just finished my Bachelor thesis and now there's FINALLY an up-to-date-version of LOS for the X Compact, been waiting for many months for this! Gonna flash it immediately!
First i want to thank for your work. Everything seem to work properly and smooth. Rarely some slight stutter here and there but nothing to disrupt the comfort. But there is one thing I need to point and that is some battery drain. I've tested two times from 100% to 40% percent. (Rebooted at 100%) And battery stats show that OS consumes 10-12% of battery. All the other roms I ve used so far drains 2-3% for the OS part. Normally usual suspect for battery drain is Google services but this time it is the OS. I believe it's possible to fix it and then this will be a great rom. Maybe a last breath for the dying XC
Here also, after around 5 hours of testing, no issues so far! Only thing I noticed - sometimes Wifi disconnects and reconnects. On stock, my phone did not do that. Have to admit, it might be that our router had some problems today. He never did that before, though, and my girlfriend didnt notice anything strange, so I assume (!) its the phone. Apart from that, great performance for the very first build!

The same issue happens on Omni and AOSP roms too, I believe it has to do with the Loire software binaries from Sony, but I could be wrong.

It's also insane how much better this rom performs than any of the others. It's super smooth and fast on my device.
So, after the first night I checked my phone and in BetterBatteryStats I saw that it did not sleep at all... 0.2% deep sleep, the rest is "Awake (Screen Off)". Kernel Wakelocks are full with epoll_xxx wakelocks, I am not sure where they come from... I lost around 18% during the night.
Edit: I did some Google research, and it seems the wakelocks are kernel issue. If it helps, I can upload a screenshot of my BBS.
The best custom ROM i tried so far, what a great job, keep it up.
The only bug i found, is that Deep Sleep is not working, it keeps awake the whole time.
The same here. I attached screenshots of my BBS of last night. I hope they are useful. Phone lay untouched for 7.5 h. I only installed Gapps and Magisk, and a few apps that never caused problems on stock. No deep sleep at all, and quite some activity in the kernel wakelocks.
Apart from the deep sleep problem, this ROM is insanely good. Everything works, no crashes or restarts, I am super happy. If the deep sleep is fixable, this phone is as good as new.
Speakerphone issue in calls
I tried LineageOS 15.1, Omnirom and AOSP: this one is absolutly the best custom ROM for kugo!
Thank you for the great job. Fast and stable, it runs seamless and everything works perfectly for an everyday use.
I get only one issue with the speakerphone in calls: once it's activeted the call ends suddenly. Many reboots and changing call app (e.g. Google Phone) didn't solve the problem. Checked app permissions and turned off AudioFX but the issue is still present; speakerphone in WhatsApp calls works correctly.
Did anyone notice this behavior?

Tried now to call to the service number of the operator and another person to check the speakerphone, everything works fine, there is not any disruption of the call.
This rom is very good almost like stock.I didn't have any problem with deep sleep 0.3%per hour.
My only problem is the camera, that's why i went back to stock
I have a question since I don't have a ton of experience with the various roms. Under the features and issues it lists the radio as NA. Does this mean it does not function on this rom? Is there a way to activate it if it isn't?

Great work as always!
Nice work!

Great work
Finally waited for this!
Thanks!!!
So finally..as expected from a Pro Dev..:highfive:
Blame XDA for duplicate post.
Such a magnificent work mate, thank you very very much .
When we were without updates for about 3 months, I supposed you were on full with the Android 11/LineageOS 18, so we are, I will update this afternoon to test it, (I say test it, but my Mi 9T Pro is my daily and actually only device for daily use, but wel xD).
I hope you can provide us as you've being doing for a much long time, honestly, you rock a lot.
Edit after flashing into my Mi 9T Pro: The only important bug I can find is the no detection of my SIM card, which is pretty important xD. A few minor bugs encountered, as the impossibility of connecting to my 5 GHz Wi-Fi network; the crash of the settings screen (activity) when I try to go to the SIM screen; the not correct responsiveness of the tap to sleep, (on the lockscreen it works flawlessly, as it should), but on the normal screen, it requires about 4-5 taps, instead of two, on the status bar, when you have the curtain deployed, it requires the 2 taps as normally; the device is notably hotter than with LOS 17.1, which is causing as well less battery duration; the poweroff and restart processes, are tremendously slow, taking about 30 seconds to shutdown, when with LOS 17.1, were a matter of 2-3 seconds; the root with Magisk 20.4 makes the device to bootloop without getting through to LineageOS, but I suppose that's normal, given the early or initial state of this ROM with Android 11.
Edit 2, after a while (and after this morning a wipe of the 3 partitions more common to wipe, Cache, Dalvik and Data), (yesterday I dirty flashed it over LOS 17.1, which was silly of me, sorry about that): The majority of the "bugs" I weren't such, the ones that keep like real bugs are the tap to sleep, which still requires more than 2 taps and a few (1 or 2 in the process of reinstalling and configuring again everything to the way I had it on LOS 17.1) of the System UI, and a few settings activities which are not accesible right now, the rest were just from the dirty flash, to my joy . Really really smooth, but the new (on AOSP 11) screenshot tool seems strange to me, I still don't know how to delete a screenshot, while with the previous one on LOS 17.1, was really intuitive, but the improvements with LOS 18 are really obvious and such welcomed, so again, thank you a lot mate .
Still, I have to insist, what a nice job, in general, apart from these mentioned bugs, the ROM is smooth, stable and performs really great, thank you very much .
Bests ^^.
Nice! Can't wait to test it out! What does 'WFD' mean by 'Not Working' by the way?
Thank you for great contribution to community.
Which GAPPS should we use?
