TF700T Screen turns off when plugged into the wall outlet (with no dock attached) - Asus Transformer TF700

My tablet seems to have a weird behavior.
I just installed KatKiss 6.0.1 and it works perfectly but this weird behavior still continue:
When I plug the tablet only (no Dock attached) on the wall outlet the screen turns off directly. I can try to use the button on the side as many times as I want, it does not come back to life. The screen only comes back when I unplug it.
If I hit the sleep (or power) button without charging it, it comes off and on: normal behavior.
If I put the tablet in sleep mode, then plug it into the wall, once again it becomes impossible to wake it up, the screen stays off.
With the USB cable plugged into the computer no problem to go back and forth in sleep mode: normal behavior.
With the dock/keyboard attached and charging it to the wall outlet (this time the plug goes into the dock itself), it comes off and on: normal behavior.
Tests already made:
- Battery saver is off
- In Developer Options I tried the "Stay Awake" option, no effect. As soon as I plug it, the screen turns off anyway, and impossible to turn it on without unplug it
Any Ideas?

Today's tests:
- When I set up for example a lockscreen with a pin number:
I plug the tablet to the wall outlet, the screen goes off, then I hit the power button, the lockscreen comes back, I enter the pin, and just when the TF700 opens, it goes off again... and it's impossible to turn it one again, except by removing the outlet plug connector
- I removed the plug from the wall outlet and just insert the connector inside, it turns off! So even if the charger is not connected to the wall, the connector is sufficient to create this annoying bug... I don't understand why it does not happen with the USB one...

Charging icon issue

Okay so this is whats going on, my phone has started to act up since yesterday, this is what happens: When I turn off, its screen is slow responsive, when I touch it sometimes it feels my touch but nothing happens, if I connect the device to the computer, or to a USB cable charger, the issue dissapears, but when I disconnect the phone, my battery changes between the icon of the battery status, and a battery with a cable on it (as if it was connected or charging) it keeps changing between those two forever, works just fine, but if I turn the phone off and turn it on again, issue reappears, then I have to connect it for it to work properly.
I have already done a factory reset through Settings>About> Reset.
Any thoughts on that?

Phone not charging or turning on

So, I accidentally let my phone run down to zero battery. Now it won't turn on, even when plugged in. It used to show the empty battery icon, but now shows nothing, not even that icon, or even the LED.
Anyone have any ideas, or places to point me out to.
I'm gonna leave it charging overnight.
So, leaving it charging overnight seemed to do the trick.

Click to collapse
So, i did it from this link
-------------------------------------------------
Use the electrical outlet charger (not usb pc or notebook), connect the device and hold the power button until start. (may take up to 2 minutes)
After the LED next to the front camera light up, release the Power button immediately.
The LED lights up for some time (in my case, more than 30 seconds) and may blink, then turns off and the phone will light up the loading screen with the battery indicator at 0% (zero percent), and turns off again.
Pressing the power button again, just once, without keeping it pressed, the phone will not turn on, will remain off (not rule because he can light with the target load, it depends on the charge status of the battery). But do not worry, leave loading for a few minutes without stopping and soon the phone will light up indicating more or less a 5% (five percent) of battery charging.
Now most importantly, do not connect or disconnect the phone from the charger until you complete 100% (one hundred percent) of the battery charge. This undoubtedly is the crucial and most important point of this walkthrough. I repeat: do not remove the charger or plug in your cell before reaching 100% (one hundred percent).

[Q] Wireless Charging - How do I keep my screen turned off?

Stock S6 (T-Mobile, 64GB, White). I have two different QI chargers (one is the TYLT Vu Wireless Charger (Qi) and the other is a CHOE stadium). The phone charges fine with both chargers, but the screen keeps turning on while charging and I can't seem to find a setting to disable this.
As soon as I put it on the charger, the screen turns on, so I hit the power button. Usually it turns back on within 5 seconds, so I hit the power button again. It will then stay off for a while, but if I wake up in the middle of the night the screen is back on again. Any ideas what is causing this?
I have noticed that the screen tends to turn on when I get a notification or when the "searching for GPS" pops up on the lock screen, but in both cases the display will dim but it will not turn all the way off.
Edit - forgot to mention that I get the same results regardless of whether or not the phone is in a case.
I got the same thing with portable battery packs... very annoying.
Also mine keeps getting off and on all the time.
Strange - my screen turns off fine if it's plugged charging via USB. It's only wireless charging that has issues on mine.
The screen always wakes up when it starts or stops charging. Do you have the developer option turned on to leave the scree on when charging? If so, when it wakes up at the end of charging, it will never turn back off. If you don't have this option enabled, then I don't have a good reason.
Thank you thank you! I just enabled developer options (after accidentally finding Flappy Android) and the "keep screen on while charging" option was turned on by default. Doing a test charge now, but it appears as if the screen is staying off.
Awesome!

OPO Not Charging and Battery Stuck at 50% After Water Damage

I entered a swimming pool with my OPO in my pocket. I immediately went and bought some rice. I wasn't able to open the back completely because I didn't have the tools to remove the SIM tray.
After a few days, I tried booting it and it showed a message that the battery was too low (pic) and then it would keep rebooting itself.
I thought that the battery was messed up, so I replaced it. Now it turns out that everything works perfectly fine (screen, speakers, camera), but the new battery (and maybe even the old one) does not seem to be charging. What's even more weird is that it will only show me that it is charged 50%.
The phone seems to recognize that it is connected to a power outlet. When turned off, I can click the Power-button once and see that it is "charging" and at 50%. When turned on, it does not appear anywhere that it is charging. No notification light, nothing on the status bar, and "50% - Not charging" in Settings>Battery (when plugged in) and "50% - approx. 12 hours" (when not plugged in). Also, in Settings>Battery>Battery optimization it says that "battery optimization not available" for Google Play Services.
I have obviously plugged the battery connector back in when I replaced the battery, but I don't know if I need to replace the Micro USB Port or not. It seems like it is recognizing when it is plugged in, but it's simply not charging.
What do you think I should do? Thank you!
Phone is off, plugged in to charger, battery is out - and when I click on the power-button it still tells me that it's charging and on 50%!?

After Battery Replaced, Screen dead?

My phone's battery has been bad for a while now, and its just been sitting in a desk for about a year. I replaced the battery since my sister wanted to use it and upon turning on the phone again, I am getting screen feedback but only in the form of a black screen. I don't see any bootup screens, even if I try to go into recovery mode. Once again, the screen still lights up black if I do things like plug in the charger or press the power button. I've reseated the display cable and battery cable but to no avail. HiSuite recognizes that it's plugged in (although I can't do anything because HDB is disabled). Anyone have any ideas on why the screen is dead?
Make sure all connections are firmly connected.
