Hi All
We initially launched in North America and the UK only, but we would love to get a few people to try it out in other countries. Please head over to community.thrutu.com and we will see if we can sort you out.
(sorry, new here and the forum won't let me post a proper link)

Hello guys
I'm fairly new to WP7 and recently bought an Omnia 7.
One thing pisses me off though - not being able to buy apps outside a supported country or credit card.
My suggestion is therefore, wouldnt it be possible to develop something like cydia app store for (pardon) iPhone?
Im currently on my phone and waiting for a flight at the airport, so havnt searched around too much, so incase i've failed to spot a similar thread please direct me to it instead of giving me a "use search you mofo"
Thanks in advance guys. =)
WP7 is fairly new, new countries will be supported as it grows larger.
As for a Cydia like application, I'm sure it will come along some time, but I don't think there is one right now.
I am currently working on a desktop application to bring a Cydia-like market to WP7. My main aims are:
- Provide homebrew developers with a place to host their applications/profit from them
- Provide a simple all-in-one dekstop solution for users to download, update and install apps to their phone
- "Trial Mode" will not exist, rather developers can post two versions of the same application with different functionality
- Market will be free from Marketplace restrictions. This includes UI/Metro restrictions. It's up to the user to decide whether they want to use a non-metro application.
My main issue at the moment is just getting the infrastructure in place and making sure everything is secure. I've only really got the barebones together, so it will take some time to get the project finished off.
Anybody who has any suggestions, feel free to post them here or PM me them
Cheers Blade0rz
Im happy to this is already in development.
I will let you know if any ideas happen to pop up. Will be following your progression
Hello everyone,
I've tried to find this function but i don't find it anywhere ! could you please help me on that.
thanjs
As far as I know, there's no option for this at the moment. Maybe in the so called 'Apollo Plus' update, coming in Q1 2013. There are a lot of votes on this feature as well, on this page idea sharing page.
Hey community !
First of all, I'm very new to this forum and to this technology, so sorry if I do any mistakes and point me to them.
I wanted to post this new thread at the GalaxyGear Forum, but the system said, I have to post it here, otherwise it would be against the rulez.
To topic:
I heard that an update (released on 15th November 13 - I think FW: V700XXUAMK7) enables the user to choose and define every notification to be shown on the Gear or not.
Well, if I want to know, which notifications have been shown on the Gear the last few days or hours, how can I get this?
Is there any integrated logging on the Gear, or is there any way to log these notifications?
It also would be OK, if the GearManager-App on the Phone-Device would log them. Or, not "OK", it would be brilliant
I am looking forward for your help and thanks.

I recently purchased a chinese stereo headunit for my vehicle to replace the oem one that was defective and i am surprisingly very happy with everything on it except there is one annoying item that I would like to remove. The unit is running android pure 4.4.2 and there is this microphone icon that is on every screen that you can touch and speak to. I assume that she is there to provide guidance to wherever you wish to go in the system by voice application. The issue is she speaks chinese only and i have not found a way to disable her or remove her. i wish to remove her completely or at least put her away. Is there anything that you guys and gals out there may know that could help me? Anyuthing useful would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the forum and to android so pardon the "nube" please. lol
Hi there and welcome to XDA.
I didn't find any info related to your problem sorry. Try on this forum maybe you can find your unit specifically there:
> Android Auto > Android Head Units
You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums if you have any other questions.
Good luck
