Installed custom ROM 2 years ago and now it's stuck on bootloop. - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone!
Yesterday my GT-3100 got stuck on bootloop. Around two years ago, I got tired of seeing the Jellybean look so I gave custom ROMs a try. Even though I was incredibly scared of bricking my device, I went through with it anyway and flashed CyanogenMod 12 and made sure to make a backup of the stock version. Ever since then I've used the upgraded Lollipop 5.0.2 version. Occasionally it would get stuck on bootloop and it would get fixed on erasing the cache partition. Just yesterday the bootloop started again and even after trying everything, nothing's working.
I have CWM Recovery v6.0.2.7 installed, which I installed 1.5 years ago. I have tried factory resetting and after it rebooted I realized that nothing was even erased. My backup seemed to have disappeared as well since CWM can't find it even though it takes up almost 8Gbs of storage. After restarting, the home screen appears for about 30 seconds before restarting again in a continuous cycle.
I'm a noob when it comes to these things so any help (in simplified language) helps.
Thank you so much!

Its probably a broken emmc. That means you need to replace the motherboard.

[Q] Backup from corrupted device? help!!!

Hey so I rooted my tab 2 a while ago, like back in april I think after I got it. Anyways its been working fine until a couple of weeks ago it started saying "Android is upgrading... starting applications" every time at boot up but after that it was fine. I didn't think anything of it. Well yesterday I left it on the bed and I came back and the battery had run out and died while I was gone. So I plugged it in and booted it up and it said "Android is upgrading... starting applications" then flickered to the homescreen and went back to the "Android is upgrading..." message. It stays in this loop and won't boot. Ive done some searching and havent come up with anything. Any idea what is going on?
I believe that it is still on the original firmware (although rooted) so that would mean 4.01 What I want to do is to back up all my data but I am not sure this is possible if the device is bricked to some extent. Is there any way I can do this? If there is a way to recover the system then that would be great. Otherwise I will just do a factory reset and then upgrade to the latest firmware and what not. Thankyou for your help! - Josh
I think your cache partition is corrupt. Try wiping cache in recovery?

[Q] Can't install roms, booting recovery kernel error

I've been working on this for nearly three days. My pad has been having issues for a while. Really laggy and slow. Finally couldn't take it anymore. I've restored to factory a number of times and while it helped briefly the lag always returned within a few days. Since I rooted (with Motochopper) and unlocked my pad the improvement is very, very noticeable. Faster than it was out of the box. I've been trying to install Cyanogen, but from the start I've been getting stuck at "booting recovery kernel image" whenever I try and boot into recovery. CWM can't get into it either. I tried TWRP instead but apparently their website is down because I can't access it via CWM or a web browser. I rolled the rom back to the last 4.1 and thought I'd bricked it. Kept getting stuck at spinning wheel on every restart. Wiped data and it restarted fine.
I'm convinced that it's the kernel issue, but after extensive searches I can't find a way to overwrite it without having access to "recovery". Yes, I'm noobish. I haven't cracked anything since my original Razr many a moon ago.
Any help would be greatly appreciated cuz im about to lose my marbles
Thanks!

[Q] CM 10 stuck at boot image (bootloop?) after half a year

Hey everybody,
Before something like half a year, I installed CM 10 on my nexus - and everything worked fine since than. Two days ago, I looked at my phone and tried to understand while it restarted itself, but I thought that it was restarting because it stuck or something...
So I put the phone back in the pocket and I was doing whatever I did. After about 15 minutes, I looked again at my phone, and it was exactly when the phone finally waked up! That was really weird, but after that it was working great...
Yesterday my phone worked fine, until the moment when it restarted itself again! When it happened, I left it on the table (because somehow I didn't connected it to what happened the day before) and did different stuff. 30 minutes later, when I've done those stuff, my phone was still at the boot image of cyanogen mod! Than I had realized that something really wrong in the phone, and tried to wake it up in some ways, but nothing is working...
Any idea how to make it work again, without a new fresh install? (I don't have a backup of my phone from about 3 months)
BTW, the recovery (cwm) and boot-loader is working, and also I'm using matr1x kernel.
Update your recovery, make a nandroid backup, do a clean install, then restore all data you want (sms, call logs, apps) via Nandroid Manager from playstore - it's free.

[Q] TF300T stuck on TWRP loading screen

Hello guys, i have been reading the forums for a long time now and it's finally time i registered to ask you about a problem of mine.
I purchased a TF300T around two months ago and it was already unlocked from the previous owner. I went straight ahead and installed TWRP and CM 12.1 (nightlies) on it. Everything was working fine, i could update to newer versions of the nightlies (only problem was that if i updated them through the system the downloaded update was giving me an error).
For some days now the tablet had been really slow and so i thought i would factory reset it in order to empty it and be like new. I went into settings>backup and restore>factory reset (if i remember correctly). It restarted my tablet and tried to boot into recovery. I see the teamwin logo but nothing happens and every 20-30 seconds the screen just blinks for a brief second. I also tried to use adb reboot bootloader but nothing was happening. I can't get into the bootloader neither this way or by pressing the buttons on the tablet.
Do you think i have probably bricked it somehow? What would you reccomend me to do in order to fix it? If there's any more info you want I'd be glad to answer.
Thanks for your time everyone!
Edit:
After a lot of searching i finally was able to restore my tablet and it now works fine. I used these guides to fix it and i'm linking to those in case anyone in the future finds this post.

Galaxy A5 A500F- Stuck In TWRP

[Q] Stuck on TWRP/System Recovery. Need help.
Hello, first time posting here.
So like the title says, my phone is stuck on System Recovery. I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (A500F model), rooted, and with TWRP installed.
The phone was running fine for 3 months without problems, so I guess it must be from recent installs, but I haven't installed anything since last week. The last action I did prior to this problem was going to System Recovery via Link2SD app, since the usual button combination didn't work. So I guess the fault lies there? At this point I have tried everything I can do, like restarting, rebooting, wiping, factory resetting, and I even restored a backup but it still goes to System Recovery after every restart.
This is my first problem on Android phones, so I hope you can help me.
If you need more information, I'd gladly provide.
Cheers.
....bump.
