A Theme for the 2.1 AOSP rom.

Installing:
Unzip the file to xrecovery/backup folder in your sdcard. Open recovery menu and restore /2.1_008a_AOSP_Black_RMR

Could you please teach me about 007a theme.zip-for future use- why is not "framework directory" set under "system directory"? and why is only "service.jar" manually copied?

The .zip theme is a way, using the recovery menu, to apply themes with ease...I don't know exactly how it works...
About the framewor directory not being set under system directory I didn't understand, could you please rephrase it??
and finally the service.jar is a file that is there only to change the color on the date on the status bar... and it's the only file that needs to be manually copied because I couldn't create a .zip file that included it....

I have no other purpose,this is simple interest.

I'm not quite sure I understood you but I think you mean inside the. zip file?? If so, the zip file is not a complete image, it's just a theme file that updates the current ROM, but within the system the structure remains the same...

Yes, this is the CarDock.apk provided in the AOSP ROM in the apps folder, you just have to install it through adb....

Which metod have you used??
Either way my first suggestion is to get to the recovery menu and restore your backup and try again...
I've tested it in other xperia I have and it works perfectly... remembering that this will only work in J's AOSP 2.1 007a ROM

A quick question if i may before i begin and id like to try it using the unzip to xrecovery menu then restore method.
Im guessing the location for unzipping is inside sdcard/xrecovery/backup/ (which ever date time etc not just making a new folder under sdcard/xrecovery/backup then unzip here?
I hope you understand what i mean

All you need to do is unzip the folder (/2.1 007a AOSP RMR) on the zip file to sdcard/xrecovery/backup/ there's no need for dates or anything else, just unzip the folder and restore....
Remember to make a backup of your own before proceding....

Yep, in the end your folder structure needs to be /sdcard/xrecovery/backup/2.1 007a AOSP RMR
inside this folder you have the cache.img, data.img, nandroid.md5 and system.img
and no worries about the confusion, it's 1 am here in Brazil, I'm not at my sharpest either....

i'm using the xrecory method, which mentioned to update to custom zip ..
anyway, if i'm restored from your image, will all of my previously apps gone ?
if i've been already done app2sd, will it crash with your apps ?

To make that it would need decompile apk, and look in xml. files to change some lines for full screen image, if im not mistaken, and Im not a developer.

Depends, if is based on Lollipop 5.0 for LG G3 than yes if is KK then probably no. Sorry for lack of more information but I'm new with this device so I don't know what and how many roms are avaliable for G3.

For me is working fine I'm using chupachups 3.0 rom based on latest V2.0E Lollipop

I'm here shamelessly posting a request Do you think the dialer can be themed as in the attachment here? I despise those fugly dividers they put there, so it would be a blessing to have them disappear.

This is a Xwidget theme. It isn't the real thing because there is no system dump yet. It works for all phones and roms. Read the instructions, does our say to flash anything or move an app to system/app? Please read before asking questions.

I didn't try to hurt your feelings. But I don't know how to make it clearer more than this.
Download a app called Xwidget.
Download the zip in the post.
Extract the zip into a folder called Xwidget that is in the main directory.
Done.

?? Haha. Do it in the computer without compiling and recompiling, opening directly the file like a Zip (WinRar) Shouldn't give error if you do like this.

Hmm there exist a way, an app called ApkEditor. It have free version and pro version (warez) in Play Store. The free version should let you edit the icons.

Install, open, file replacement, select the apk, search by image, select the main app icon, select the pencil, replace with new, and it will be done. Then apply the changes.

Tried installing in both the ways flashed it via twrp
And placed it under system app but nothing worked.
Currently using Dr Ketan's Q04 rom.

and you instal the apk with it after uninstal original

First of all, its not possible for signature purpose.
by Lucky Patcher/Split APKs Installer (SAI)
you can do just signature verfication for your Non Rooted device for install that apk
but that not support to change the fonts in non-rooted device
[when u go to change then it will show "This Font is not supported. Contact the font provider. Uninstall this font?"]
Hope you will not post any untested things on XDA

I tried flashing it though TWRP (rooted) , but still only have 3 fonts in display settings? S10+ SM~G975F CTD1

Hi. i tried to install to Samsung A7 2017 via twrp but nothing happened. Im using Lineage OS and Android version is 10. Root - Magisk.

Anyone with step by step guide..I'm new to THIS...I'm rooted with magisk and twrp A7 2017
