Nubia M2 Custom ROM(unlocking, TWRP)

Hi guys,
I'm new here and I'm a newbie in those things, sorry
I'm planning to get an Nubia M2(it's on sale), but I don't like their installed Software. So, I want to get an Custom ROM on it. But on the Internet there aren't any tutorials for the Nubia M2. Do you know a way to unlock the Bootloader, flash TWRP and install a custom ROM?
Btw which custom roms are available for the Nubia? Maybe LineageOS?

Found three rooms for Nubia M2, on gizchina.it (ok, pages in Italian, but can be translated by google)
An enhanced version of original Nubia rom (Gizrom), a MiUI 9 and a ColorOS edition.
Tried all three, but went with MiUI 9 edition, which worked perfectly .

Hi guys
I'm tired with so bad supporting of this device
I unlocked bootloader and installed twrp
I install all rooms that suggested here(four rooms of gizchina -germak rom-miui pro)
But all of them except Nubia gizchina and germak room have problem with camera(in portrait mode and ...)
I love miui pro but I need portrait camera
Could any one help please?
Suggest a camera that support portrait mode
I Google it but but all cameras need nougat to run
If any body know how to solve this problem please help me

this is the MIUI pro EU has the integrated Nubia camera has a bug to have the notification lights you have to use Gravity box (xposed form) for the rest is fine looks ..The gapps are already integrated

Please help me, im using twrp version 3.2.1 that recommend for LOS 15.1 rom. But when i try to install magisk or something that .zip format via twrp (like nubia camera.zip) its always reset my handphone, all my application is gone, please help me fix this mate, please.

Meanwhile, you can not install the Nubia camera in Los 15.1 then the twrp is just suggested use the latest official twrp available on twrp.me site, I recommend you personally use the Ressurection remix is ​​much more customizable also if you have problems there are groups on Telegram for example Nubia M2 Italy where I am administrator and can help you and pass you the various corrections as well as a zip created by me with settings to decrease consumption ...

In Los 14.1 can we use face unlock ?

Yes update your twrp and you will see that there will be no problems, while as regards the face unlock is not available in los 14.1 but only in los 15.1 or Ressurection remix 6 (8.1) this because in custom rom is a function reserved to Oreo

overall most stable custom rom for oppo r7 plus

since new versions of roms for oppo r7 plus are slowing down , i request all users to post their favourite custom rom with versions here..the most stable , least reboots , smooth usage , best battery life , no errors for apps..

personally for me one version (dont remember the version number) of cm13 was the smoothest..had it running continously for around 3-4 months back in 2016 and had absolutely no issues with it..since then changed to many roms and forgot that version of cm13 for r7plusf..

Good Custom Rom for Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113

I have finally got a different charging cable for my galaxy tab 2 10.1 and now i can charge it and use it again. I have an old LineageOS installed but sense it has been removed from the website i am looking for a new custom rom to use. I want to use something around Kitkat. Any ideas?

I am using lineage 11, really good kitkat ROM. If you pick lineage 11 I would pick build 3 because the builds after that have broken root access.

Try SlimKat. Its based on 4.4.4 and it really runs like hell. Tried it after my weired problem got solved, but I prefere to use CM13, the latest build from andi34's github. It runs really stable and I really love the old CM logo, the LAOS13 is very unstable in daily use. My dad told me that a while ago...
The main reason why I prefere Android 6 instead of 7 is, because it supports many older XPOSED modules and apps like SetCPU does still work. :good:
CM is the one and only for me, big thanks to the dev's :highfive:

Note : all the info here is from pure experience and all the roms tested is made by other developers from 4pda​
So to start and to keep it short
First : list Roms I tested .
1- Beta CrDroid (Android 7.1.2) 2 months
2- Beta Resurrection Remix (Android 7.1.2) 1 month
3- Dot os (Android 7.1.2) 3 month
4- Lineage 15.1 (Android 7.1.2) 2 weeks
5- MIUI android 6.0 1 month
first four is to mush alike so I'll refer to them by A7 Group(bad name but it refer to the android version used 7)
Second : What's Good .
in A7 Group: well all what's good in Android 7 from multitasking to quick settings ... etc
in MIUI : will only if you like MIUI plus it has Multitasking and some cool pie style features
Third : What's Good .
For that one I really don't know what to say as there is a lot but you can live with if and only if you are not a gamer and I mean any kind of Games whether small ones like ALto or big like pubg and real racing 3 as nothing of that will work on any of them,
Do you think of creating swap then let me stop you here too as swap isn't supported in any of the kernels
plus in A7 group you can't run 720P videos in YouTube but 3rd party video players like (MX Player and VLC) can play up to 1080P.
Fourth : last word
I guess with all that that Huawei made a great jop building this system together with specified swap partition and performance wise ..etc . :good:
so currently i'm happily staying with emui 4.1 (Android 6.0) modded to look like android pie that in a specific post in themes update the link after making it

i think huawei did a good job of enslaving android open source into complete unlockable and "secure" iAndroid (iOS but with android)
latest devices from huawei are impossible to unlock bootloader, and i tought android is supposed to be better than iOS because you can choose which system you want to run

[PORT][Dev] MIUI 10 Android Oreo 8.1 By Urartu

I have tried this MIUI 10 ROM with Android 8.1 Oreo for our Redmi 4 Prime, I think it is ported on a Xiaomi Mi 5X by a Russian developer named Urartu.
Fingerprint scanner works well compared to the previous ROM ports by MIUIROOM. I think it drains more battery. I couldn't install apks thru file manager but I managed to install APK thru adb commands
The ROM is fast and smooth. You need to install this over the previous MIUI 10 roms for our Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime since they said the MI account doesn't work. I have it installed over the previous MIUI 10 ROMS. By the way, your TWRP should be the updated TWRP treble which can be downloaded here https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=3700668719832240353 or you will go into a boot loop.
Details of the ROM can be found here, the page is in Russian but Google Chrome can translate it to english. The translation is understandable.

I really like this phone, too bad Xiaomi dropped pushing updates for it for Android 8 but at least we are thankful there are some devs who are porting other MIUI ROMS to our phones.

Everything seems working. This is my daily driver and I don't experience problems. It's fast also. Their Telegram Channel is updated every now and then and they post the download links there.

This is a very bad news...but it's acceptable if battery works at least as for xiaomi.eu rom, gallery and camera apps are working properly too. Could you please give me a feedback on these?

Finally installed 34.5 URARTU ROM based on MIUI PRO over the very latest weekly xiaomi.eu rom (9.1.13) doing only a clean of dalvik and cache, without formatting data. No data lost, almost everything seems working. All apps installed before this update are in italian, the other included in this ROM are in english. Other than that, security patches are updated in june 2019 (on xiaomi.eu were april 2018 !!!) and jumped from android 6 to android 8.1.
In next days I will do some other tests to see if I lose something with this "dirt" installation.
Responsiveness of the phone at the moment is more or less the same as before this upgrade

I switched now to Miroom android 9.0 pie v1 with MIUI11 ported always by Urartu1 user.
Working very well.

Pie port has just come out and I haven't experienced any bugs. It was Android Oreo before.

I'm currently using this ROM from the release day and it worked perfectly, Urartu maintainer is a very good guy, his ROM are fantastic!

Previous miroom based od android 8.1 is better. The new pie port is randomly freezing, i tried 2 times clean install with everything wiped before installing 2 times same freezing result.
Anyway thanks to port maker dude, such a shame xiaomi didnt release atleast oficcial nougat miui, because gcam needs minimum android 7 to work. Thats why i use ports.
Anyone have the audio sound patch zip file (for video recording) for marshmallow stock, and the two zips to enable gcam3 for marshmallow? Cant download from miui forum. The best rom ever is the stock miui 8.1.2.0, rock stable, long battery life, sadly that is marshmallow. Just needs the sound patch and the zips to enable old gcam.

I'm on Pie 9.9.3 Miroom from URARTU1 and everything is working properly. Never had a freeze so far. I installed the rom from Orange Fox 10 recovery and everything worked without any wipe. Only cache and dalvik as usual
