Can someone up the flashlight and something that I can use so that I can stream youtube videos again ?
Also is there nething that I can use 2 make my ringtones louder ? Sometimes I cant hear my phone ring

Anyone ? The most important thing to me is the youtube videos.....I cant play them anymore. It says that an unknown error has occured

what you trying to play them with?

It doesnt matter.....When I first got it I could just click watch video and it would open a program to play it but now it just says unknown error.
I just wanna click watch video and be able to play it

of course it matters, have u rom upgraded in that time, or changed browser?

I'm having problems with the video player on my sensation ... If I record something and then play right after, it locks up sometimes and gives me a "sorry, video can't be played " message. I have to restart the phone to get it working.... Very annoying

Yeah, a post about this was posted right when the sensation came out, (its hidden somewhere in here) don't know if dude ever got a fix for it tho...from personal experience tho my first sensation did this bt Wut I would do (and this worked all the time), I wouldn't hit play right after recording, I'd hit back and then play the video.
If ur videos play this way then u should b ok, otherwise if u go to ur gallery n the videos don't play from there, then u got an issue that u should prolly exchange. bt I know its annoying not being able to play ur movies RIGHT after recording.

[Q] Gallery is not showing pics in every rom

Hey brothers pls help as my gallery is not showing pics in any ROM earlier it shows but now I don't know
Why it is not showing pics. Tried media scanner rebooted but still no luck

this happened to me once. i dont remember how it got resolved though.try going to settings/applications then under all applications u will find gallery. wipe its cache. now reboot and open gallery. u shud b able to c photos unless u dont have them in memory.
if it doesnt work or u want to view photos urgently then download a replacement app. eg. quickpic

Brother quick pic shows all pics but gallery still not showing pics also when I cleared data of gallery n rebooted.
Video player is not showing videos both inbuilt and MX player help me....:crying:

try refreshing mx player. what rom r u on and kernel? most probably its got something to with gallery app

I am also having same problem in each ROM gallery is not showing pics also video player doesn't show video thumbnail

i faced the same problem months ago. somehow it is resolved now

I also faced the same problem once. I remembered switching off the phone and switched it on again. it worked for me.

If u using any custom kernel
Use io scheduler as ROW as CFQ is nt good for photos it alws wrked fr me

Try this guys..Connect phone to system..Turn on USB storage use it for a while ( especially photos ). Then turn off...Use now..See if you get it.
If it doesn't work. Then try this. Copy all from ur memory card. Then format ur sd card. Then copy back data. Now use it. Must be getting it !

If so, Video Repair is for your!
Video Repair allows easy recovery of corrupted MP4 files recorded with Android devices. At the moment it supports H264, AAC and MPEG4-SP (the last one is rather slow). If other codecs turn out to be popular I’ll implement it as well. If your recording got interrupted and you’re getting "Can't play this video." error message when trying to open the video Video Repair should be able to fix it. All you need is another working video file recorded using the same camera settings which can be used as reference. Video Repair will attempt to automatically pick the reference file.
Video Repair doesn’t support fixing or transoding of videos downloaded from the internet or recorded with other devices.
This app is a work-in-progress.
The UI isn’t polished yet but the main functionality is stable.
I successfully recovered couple video files recorded on different devices (luckily all my devices used H264/AAC codecs). I wanted to release it asap so that I can get your feedback and judge what are the common problems with broken files.

I'm working on this feature right now. So far I managed to recover some short videos but there are still some artifacts which I need to fix.
Please send me some sample videos (two couple seconds long videos is enough) to [email protected] so that I can ensure that your codec is supported in the future updates.

i took a 5 min video with my galazy s4.
it wasn't recoverable i believe. no pc program would do it. so thanks anyways i changed the codec I'm using.

Awesome! I'd appreciate if you could leave a comment on Google Play so that others know that the app is a real thing.

I've a Galaxy S3 and it normally generates mp4 files but left me with a temp_video file. I "fixed" it with your app and on the phone the audio is "OK" I think but the video is maybe 1/2 time? If I play it on my PC with vlc media player, both audio and video are choppy and if I play it with the windows media player it's the same as on my phone - audio is the right speed but the video is maybe 1/2 time or so. Should my phone be supported? I'd send you the file but it's 1.2G or so... I could put it up on an ftp server if you like? PM me?

Yes, Galaxy S3 is supported.
I added some fixes in the latest update (version 0.2.4) which should make a playback consistent on VLC and Android video player.
Unfortunately in the file you sent me the camera crashed in the middle of the recording so there is video only for the first half of the file, the rest is audio only. There is no way to recover more video since is not there Optimistically, the glass is half full tho (half of the file is playable)!

Phone died at the end of recording video and left temp file. I couldn't get your app to recognize it until I renamed it temp_file.mp4. Ran it and it worked on the first minute and a half. The video is 22 minutes long. Any advice?
BTW this is the furthest I have gotten with the video out of almost 10 programs- keep up the good work!

I have 3 .tmp files and I'm using one .mp4 file as a reference. Worked like a charm. If anyone has problems importing the files, make sure they're in .tmp extension. :good: Good project. Keep up the development. You are saving a lot of people's data. Cheers.

OH GOD IT WORKED , I swear i tried like every program on the internet but none of them worked, some worked but the video was out of sync with the audio but this great app worked in matter of seconds . I LOVE YOU <3

This app is truly amazing, worked flawlessly on my Galaxy Note 3. When I select the donate button nothing happens though. I wanted to email the developer but I didn't see the email address in the play store description. I figured I could find more information here. I was also wondering anything in the works for photos?

At the moment I'm concentrating on the video recovery but maybe I'd add audio only at some point.

m4v should be compatible with mp4.
On what device you recorded your m4v files?

Yeah, I had some issues with Google Play in-app purchases configuration. It should work now and I added PayPal "Donate" button to the first post in this thread just in case

I recorded on a HTC EVO 4G, three years ago. Basically the video and sound are not sync. The video is moving but the sound is a couple of seconds behind.

The file was not playable when you recorded it and after processing by MP4 Video Repair it's playable but there is a sync issue right?
Is the difference constant through the video or is sync better at the beginning and then getting worse over time?
If the difference is constant the only way to sync it is to use some external (PC) app and synchronize it manually.
Otherwise, if the difference is increasing over time, you may try running the broken file through the latest version of MP4 Video Repair or trying to select different reference file.

Hi, I have problem which I can't explain. When I am trying to play my movies from the nas (synology), many of times is not playing. I see the circle and stuck there. When I restart the box, it's ok for once, until I want to see another movie. Then i have to restart the box again. I dont have the same problem with other players such as bs or vlc. I am curious what is going wrong.

just wait for a while. then goto help > bug report. Save the bug report to sdcard & share here.

Custom codecs are just customized FFmpeg libraries & will not improve anything functionally on network streaming.
probably, there might be some other issues which got fixed automatically.

I have downloaded a ts file from iptv server ( in windows) and transferred it to mi box.. unfortunately mi box video player did not play it while xmtv player can play it.. If I can make system video player can play that ts file i can use of my iptv app.. which does not work on mi box.. I am sure that's about system default codec.. and I do not know how can I change and work with media_codecs.xml in /system/etc/media_codecs.xml

I have almost found the problem and need help for resolve it..
as I knew.. problem happens because of width and height of some videos..it is important for me to play this samples with Mi Mdeiapalyer app..as system player..

Mi box 3 Oreo update volume slider bug
Is anyone else getting just a white volume slider the blue dot appears but the icons are whited out its suppose to look like the slider from MM. I noticed it because when I got close to it I saw a faint media and volume symbol. Is there a way to fix that. I already reset with no success

This is a firmware bug. MX Player has nothing to do with it. Kindly post it in the appropriate subforum.
