Android pay doesn't work with a rooted phone. There's nothing you can do

If so what is the use of safenet magisk?
If rooted we need give up androidpay?

There's still a workaround to root actually. I'm not sure what it does, but I'm about to install it now.

Let me know how it goes. I just want the update reminder to go away.
I got the update. It's NI2. Didn't root. Still stock. All I can say is VPN is still broken. So ridiculous.
Very suspicious saying the already in use 4.4.4 allows use of advanced calling 1.0 seems like verizon forgot to kill root and is making another attempt
@open1your1eyes0
what do you think? can we update and do the old kernel trick?

malicious custom roms?

I have been trying all the custom roms for the verizon oe2 and when I installed Extreme Syndicate I got a "Threat Found" warning. This was the only rom I got this with. Can a rom be outfitted with spyware? Anyone else weary of this rom because of the security notification?

You got a threat warning because of Smart manager comes pre-installed. It's more then likely detecting knox was removed

Neither of you are correct. It is because SecurityLogAgent has not been removed from the ROM and it is detecting superSU as the security threat. Follow these steps and you will be good to go.
@elliwigy is aware of this and will take care of it in the next build.

And sdmaid all works fine...
Even i authorized them both in MagiskManager...
Even become "unrooted" after a mintues (actually is has rooted because sdmaid can still useMagisksu )
If close the MagiskHide, everything will be perfect.......
Other info: OOS 9.5.4 ,Magisk 7.2.0, GM1910, GM21AA
What apps have you ticked in MagiskHide? I have only ticked a few banking apps and don't have any issue with root on apps like root explorer or anything else?

After investigation, I doubt that sdmaid mistakenly cleaned up some files.
But still not sure, this question is very strange, I even think it is possible that the reason is my model is a Chinese variant.

Which Notification is that ?
Show a pic if possible.
With the good lock Suite - You can catch unknown notifications and disable them
Yes, I got that today, in the UK.
I just installed it and then uninstalled it, maybe it'll come back but hope not. It seems to be a benign app that links you to the offers on the Samsung site, e.g. Disney+, etc.

disable auto-updates at Google play and disable background run
It is from Samsung Recommended apps app. You would need to disable it using adb
