About the oreo i read it on sammobile before a month or two they said that the oreo will come to galaxy a8 in june or july
About the roms i didnt said that we will see the roms soon i said that they will find away to get it like they get the lineage os for a7 2017 and a5 2017

It's real, SM-A530F with SER csc got Oreo, look at Samsung's official update notes site doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-A530F/SER/doc.html
It seems the only way to get the update is over the air for now. I changed my csc to SER using a combination rom and I could install the update, now my A8 runs Oreo.

Rooting the phone.
There are two ways to root mobile one is from mobile itself and other is from pc..
From mobile..: download ginger break.apk and indtall it on ur device,then root ur mobile,there are two types temporarily root and permanent root..you select which ever u need.
From pc..: download super one click and install it on pc.run it and root the mobile.(on usb debugging on mobile).
This is all the common method for all mobiles.
Thats all mobile rooted..:thumbup:

Unlock root supports jelly bean, that means urs ics will be rooted in a click...:thumbup:

Howto install from stock unrooted by jeffreyM:
Transfer zip file to internal memory
- Power off phone
- Hold volume DOWN + POWER button for 3 seconds
- boot into Recovery Mode
- You'll see "No command" screen
- Hold volume UP + POWER button for 3 seconds
- Release volume UP button but hold POWER button
- Now you can install the zip file from you're internal memory

I don't think it has anything to do with the chipset. I would suggest you to check the screen resolution, os version. I'm using the same wallpaper on any phone I have or had in the past years and no issues. I have to admit, that I use custom pictures.

The official thread of the pixel wallpaper port mentioned that it won't be able to run on Mediatek, Kirin and Exynos processors.
Quite sad that thing like wallpaper has that kind of "restrictions".
