you should go to beemp3.com on your HD2 and you can download songs from there.
Or try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6152869#post6152869 Look at post No. 5
Hey guys, I've got a request for you. I would like to know if it is possible for a music searching app like Soundhound or Shazam to be modded to work with another app, specifically my mp3 downloader. If you have soundhound listen to the song, it will give you youtube links and amazon mp3 links and all that good stuff. I just want it to give me the option to search for it in my music downloading app, so that I don't have to back out of the app and manually search it every time. Is this possible, and has it already been done? Cheers!
Anyone ?

Is there any working music download app that displays the bitrate and size of the song?
If I'm not wrong don't you think downloading music from an app would be illegal(I mean piracy)

But why are then these apps available for download in the market?
The apps i've seen only stream music, they don't allow you to download and play the music from your music player and ita not like google can find every illegal app and delete it.
Press thanks if I helped.
Hey guys.
I've been using Google play music since it came out, but I have a big problem with it and finally I've had enough.
Every time I want to try a new music player or use me music in other apps or so, Google play just doesn't allow me to do that.
I mean Play Music is a great app and a great service. But if I wanted "rules" like this I'd use an iPhone xD.
So I went ahead and started downloading my 6089 music to my computer, and now I'm looking for a program to manage and organize and decide which ones to copy to my phone.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Do you use Google play music? Or have the same problem.

you can use any music player you want, but you can only play music stored in google play with google play. to think otherwise is borderline absurd. you cant play pandora in another app. can you?
Isn't Pandora a streaming service? The music files in Google play music are MY music files, so what I'm trying to say is that I'm upset that they don't allow me to use my music in other apps just because it is stored in their service.
This is something I'd expect from iOS not Android.

ok, i understand what you mean, and there is a solution for this.. you can go to the desktop browser site www.google.com/music (destop, not mobile) and download whatever of your songs you want, itll be in a mp3 format, and itll download to your download folder. you can play these with any music player.
I'm not being clear enough. I apologize.
By musics (songs) I mean the ones I have stored offline.
Those are the ones I wish I could use on other apps.
Again, sorry about that.

youd need to download them to play in other players, as google uses its own format to stream an play in the app. other players can not play that format(probably).

From my understanding Google play music stores the songs in its own database so only it can access the files. Google made it impossible for other players to play it.

right, in its own proprietary format. which is why it has to be downloaded first(via the desktop site).
When you stream music from Google Play Music, it saves those music files on this location
/data/data/com.google.android.music/files/music
That's the reason no other player can access it. It's named like "1234.mp3".
If you are rooted, I remember there's an xposed mod to move it to SD card or somewhere else.
You can technically play Google music files in any player as it stores them in native mp3 format in /data/data/com.Google.android.music/files. The problem is you'd have to move them to /sdcard and also the files have no title or tags.

You say you have no issues with titles, yet your bottom screenshot shows files without titles... i.e, the file name is not the song name. There is no identifier.

Yep but this isn't linked to Play Music. That's how my podcasts are downloaded through Pocket Casts.
I mean that I have the right titles into Play Music app (1st screenshot).

YEah we're talking about downloading music through play and playing it in other music apps... It can be done but it doesnt bring through any tags and the file names are just numbers.
Let me trow a question at you guys.
What do you use to manage your songs?
Do you all use Google Play Music?
