Rhinoshield goes live!! - OnePlus 6 Accessories

Hey,
Just ordered a screen protector, and letting you guys know they already have oneplus6 products.
https://rhinoshield.io/pages/shop/OnePlus?device=oneplus-6
I'm thrilled!

Rhinoshield case looks awesome on the picture.

Yeah but only the RhinoShield Impact Protection Screen Protector, rest if for either July or August.

Which screen protector is the one to go for, as they offer two types ?

I ordered the impact protection ones. I personally liked how they hit it with a hammer several times, and it didn' break

From the pics it looks like it leaves some uncovered estate near the edge of the screen. Is it?
That'd drive me mad (I know, I'm a nerd!).

Impact protection is a film but not a rubbery one. Doesnt 'self heal' more prone to scratches than glass but does offer some drop and impact protection. It is also smaller and will leave a gap around the edge. The tempered glass is like a regular TGSP, probably quite like the Orzly.
I didnt order a screen because I am happy with what I have (official TGSP and Orzly) I did order a white solidsuit though.

Which screen protector are you currently then Official or Orzly ?
Was installation relatively hassle free ?
Will it fit pretty much perfectly with the white solid suit ?

I was using the official one which I liked and was fine with but installation was bit tricky. I wasn't 100% happy so switched to Orzly which is marginally smaller but separately an easier install and feels slightly better (and you get more than 2 for price of 1 official). Orzly will fit with Solidsuit I am confident of that. Both Rhinoshield screens work with their Solidsuit. Not sure about the official TGSP fitting with the Solidsuit. The official bumpers and cases do, as I have some of those, but otterbox (which I do not have) doesn't appear to.

I already have the nylon case from OP, i like it a lot. So...probably i'm sticking with it

I can't choose... Rhinoshield SolidSuit work 2k.... or the nylon case 1.5k+nilkin tg 400 = 1.9k.... or the spigen rugged armor case 900+nilkin 400 = 1.3k.... what to choose? nvm the price... but if you can choose the worth the buck or depends on protection from drops, usage, grip or anything. pls help i need advise what to choose.
Your thoughts in terms of:
Protection:
Grip:
Design:
TG fitting:
Price:
Thanks!!!!

Haa anyone tried the impact protection for the OnePlus 6 yet?

Curious to know this as well ^^^

Mine (impact protection)arrived at my country already, maybe i'll get it by monday. Ill post pictures as soon as i install it guys

Amazing that there's not a single bumper case (not the official one, which is only called bumper but is a full case) for OP6. And this one is gonna be available in a month+.

What S6 cases is everyone using?

I'm using a vintage stylish back cover along a SGP tempered glass(9H) for the screen protection,it's good so far,for I'm not get used to the flip cover or wallet cover,it's not convenient as the brief cover as coming calls&messages, which makes it wired and also no good for video watching and daily usage. Besides, the case also with double wallet slot on the back for credit cards etc.,and two slots is enough. The slim design also enjoy another 10 scores, fine match the S6's thickness without make your device a clumsy one.

Is it genuine leather case? Doest it protect the camer (i.e. have a lip near camera or just thicker than the camera)? Is it soft enough inside or is it plastic inside?
I think I could go for it if there were no card holders)
Edit: found it cheaper on ebay. I think I'll order one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Rea...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item20fa6c88e2
Thanks
Spiegen neo-hybrid here. Minimal bulk, great grip and feel with metal buttons. I myself feel that screen protectors are unnecessary anymore, as todays gorrila glass does well enough to protect from scratches. A screen protector isn't going to stop a drop-shatter anyways. The neo is the best looking and thinnest of the 5 cases I have, all while providing two-piece drop protection.

I have the same case now. It's ok but it makes my s6 to be the size of my Oneplus One want something less bulkier. As for the screen protectors, I might disagree - tempered glasses save your phone glass from shattering almost always.

I'm using the simple tpu Verus Crystal Light case. It's like the spigen liquid crystal clear case but looks better, has better clicky buttons and the camera and flash have separate cutouts instead of one big cutout. Also has lips to protect both the camera bezel and screen from scratches

I respect your view on tempered glass, I have heard a lot of good things about it. Unfortunately for me, it didnt work so well the one time I needed it to. As far as cases go, the hybrid is about as thin as a current generation (protective) case could be. If you want any thinner, why would you use a case at all?

That's an excellent question, sir!
Firstly, I beleive it will still save the back glass from shattering if I drop my phone (and I know I will drop it some day, always happens to me when after the honey moon I become more and more careless with the new toy).
Secondly, I afraid to much for the camera lens, which just waaaay too protruding to be safe, imo and also very weak according too AndroidAuthority review. (rly samsung? for 700 bucks your could not go for saphire glass on the protruding camera lens?)
My concerns with the camera lens are the same as yours, but we can't change the design of the S6. I don't think sapphire lense would help too much either. More costly, interferes with clarity, and still breaks.
I'm using the UAG case. Love this thing. Very very slim and provides the best protection for my phone out of all the cases I've owned. UAG cases might be on the top end of costs ($30-35) but it is built to last
I used a Spigen neo hybrid, but I ended up with a UAG as well
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TRG8KGO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This leather sleeve which fits perfectly. Pretty tight actually, so no risk of your phone falling out I guess. Great quality leather and finishing I must say, they're all handmade. Price is a bit steep but you do get what you pay for and honestly, if you spend this amount of money on a phone you might as well spend some money on protecting it.
I thought about buying on of those Spigen cases which look slick, but then I thought; Samsung finally made a phone with a finish worth looking at and holding in your hand when using it, why hide that in a case?

I just bought this case and do like it, but all of my Mediabridge microUSB cables don't fit in the opening on the bottom. Do you happen to know of any good high rated cables that fit well? Was debating getting a different case because of it that's possibly less bulky too.

Spigen Cases

Spigen won't be making any cases or accessories for the Nexus 6P. I hope this changes, maybe if we email them enough and generate interest they will change their mind.
Spigen decided to make a nice line up so far of their cases!
Here is the breakdown of their accessories so far:
-Rugged Armour (Black)
-Slim Fit (SF Black)
-Ultra Hybrid (Crystal Clear)
-Crystal film (plastic screen protector)
-Glass.tR Slim (temprered glass screen protector)
-NeoHybrid EX (Silver, gunmetal)

Darn, I really like their matte black thin cases. Hopefully ringke comes around with those then, I would think they will.

I just tweeted them. I really need a tempered glass screen protector. I've dropped my Nexus 5 and had the protector crack, but the screen underneath hasn't. I _really_ need their protector.

PC, I never liked tpu cases for some reason. The Nillkin frosted cases don't offer 360 protection though but I like the grip and that it protects the back so I can lay it down on surfaces.
Their loss. No worries, China case makers will gladly step in.
My guess is that these companies have to redesign their "series" cases to adapt accordingly to the black bar on the phone.
I really do hope Spigen, Ringke reconsiders and if we want it to happen then we should make some noise on their social medias to let them know that we're interested.
Diztronic might be making a case for the Nexus 6P. https://twitter.com/Diztronic/status/648967216998711297 -- always was a fan of their TPU cases on prior phones.

Nillkin frosted shield case

http://nillkin.org/accessories/smar...sories/nillkin-sony-xperia-z5-compact-frosted
I bought the black and the gold one. My phone looks amazing
any photos of the thickness? One thing that prevents me from getting this case is the thickness, since the phone is already a bit thick for its size.
And the black one:
I got one of these as I was looking for case that would provide for a more secure grip. This delivers on that front - the plastic is almost soft-touch, and the texture on the back is great.
Unfortunately the lens/flash cutout (on the white version at least) seems to cause problems with flash photography. Specifically, I get a lot of glare on the left side of pics taken with flash. I confirmed this by removing the case and retaking the same pic - no glare.
No such issue with a TPU case that had a bigger cutout around the lens/flash.
This seems to be the case with many of the chinese made cases ( at least in my experience).

I picked one up as an open box on Amazon to use as an interim case. I have an Orzly glass protector and it doesn't interfere, in fact it looks quite nice. My only complaint is that when one-handing the phone, I personally rest my pinky on the bottom by the charging port and I find that the case will cut into it causing discomfort.

The no-brand TPU case didn't affect flash photography, neither does the soft-touch hard case that replaced the Nillkin. Both were made in China.
The shape and size of the cutout is what matters, not where it's made.

UAG Case + Mate 9 black

Hey all! I am almost ready to buy the Mate 9 and I was would like to know if anyone has it in black color along with the UAG case.
Design-wise, the case itself seems to be a little over the top for my taste but since it's semi-transparent I was wondering if the black color of the phone tones it down a bit.
Any feedback is welcome (maybe along with some photos if anyone actually has the combination? )!

On the UAG, it's much higher which makes it much more protected than the Spigen. The Spigen also has a lip but not as high. Still good though. I do notice the Spigen has a lot more room for the screen protector edges than the UAG one which gets a lot closer.

Well, since I am probably going with the UAG which has more protection, I will first check the Brotect Airglass which is thinner (and hopefully less likely to peel along the UAG case?). If I decide to go with Spigen or Ringke (I like the Ink Black), I will problably check the Tempered Glass options.

HELP in the Cases/Skin Protection for Oneplus 6

Hi guys,
Usually, I don't like covering the phone with cases which hides the beauty of the phone and also cases seems bulky(not compact). But in the case of op6, since it is an all glass body, I am forced to buy some protection to the phone. Since this is the first time I am planning for protection, I am not aware completely to go for which type. Can you help me in this? Thanks in advance.
Should I go for skin(At least to avoid scratches)?
or full protection(as below suggested)? Again this also avoids only scratches but not the breaks. But I wanna try this because I also don't like bulky cases.
or Shall I go with Skin for backside and tempered glass protector on the front side?
or Is there any type of thinnest case for the phone? I am very much happy if one exists because it protects from the incidents like breakage or any sort of physical damage to the phone.
And in my search, I found one type of screen body protection from Gadgetshieldz.com which is compact and says protection. Have anyone bought this? How good it is? Link - https://www.gadgetshieldz.com/oneplus-6-screen-protectors-covers-cases.html
Another worry is even if this is good and I bought this, I am thinking I cant apply it cleanly. as I did not anytime before.

Hi guys,
Usually, I don't like covering the phone with cases which hides the beauty of the phone and also cases seems bulky(not compact).

Does the silicone case that was provided with the phone go well with the official tempered screen protector that has to be purchased separately? I bought one, but haven't applied it yet, because I like the silicone case and was wondering if they fit on the phone at the same time. I wouldn't like to have the silicone case rub on the tempered glass and lifting it up prematurely.

This will be the first phone I've ever had to cover up with a sleeping bag, I mean case.. but you have to because of the glass back. I've just ordered the the following
TopACE OnePlus 6 Case, OnePlus 6 Back Cover Slim Hybrid Rubberised Hard Case for OnePlus 6 Smartphone (Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CG9QWC9/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_93bdBbMM0ADD9
Hopefully, this will be a reasonable compromise

Arriving later today, I'll let you know
Got the matte black skin from dbrand - just a basic one to cover the back of the phone. Hate cases as they add immense bulk, even slim cases. Easy peasy to apply the skin on the back, but I guess it has to be as you only get one skin now. When I applied dbrand skins to previous phones, they always shipped two skins if you mess up the 1st time. Guess dbrand are going on the cheap now...

Case has arrived, I love it, very slim and classy looking whilst offering some protection, fits very precisely, easy to hold and grip. Returned my screen protector, just can't get the bubbles out!

For anyone looking for the same case above in the US
https://www.amazon.com/OnePlus-Colo...27715681&sr=1-11&keywords=oneplus+6+case&th=1
Seems to be the most minimal ive found, still with some protection over a wrap. (I just cant do only a wrap with an all glass design) Only "flaw" with that case from reading the comments is that the case doesn't have any lip above the screen. Some would say that not a flaw .. I like minimal but with a little protruding on the face to help protect the screen edges. To each their own though.
