3g WCDMA

It is my understanding that the 3g network coming out in the USA from T Mobile is WCDMA which is a duel band 1700/2100 system where as the European system is 1900/2100 meaning that the tri band phones ( my TYTN II ) will not work on this new 3g system. Is there any way to change my phone to 1700/2100 from 1900/2100. The duel bands are one for uploading to the tower and the other to download to the phone. In the USA the 1900 band is used for pda service thus T mobile is going with the 1700 band.

UMI X2 and T-Mobile 3G

I purchased the newly released UMI X2 Android phone. I am unable to use the TMobile 3G network. I am only able to use 2G/EDGE.
Voice and data quality are very bad, almost the phone is unusable. I spoke with T-Mobile and was informed that my modem does not support 1700 MHz and there are effort to re-farm TMobile network to support 3G on 1900Mhz but not set date yet. When I scan for available network I get three networks were available
T-Mobile 2G
AT&T 3G
AT&T 2G
Operating System: Android 4.2.1 OS
Processor: 1.2GHz MTK MT6589 quad-core processor
Connectivity Technology: GSM network & WCDMA - Standard SIM card
Network Band: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz & WCDMA 850/2100MHz
Data Technology: GPRS, EDGE, HSPA
Baseband version
MOlY.WR8.W1248.MD.WG.MP.V2.P1
I would appreciate any help to get my phone to work on 3G.
YAF, don't think it's possible to get UMI X2 to work with T-Mobile. You need UMTS support on AWS band.
Re-farming of network for 1900MHz support will not help you either - MT6589 only supports 850Mhz (AT&T band) and 2100Mhz(Europe).

Which canadian networks will work with Xperia Z3 dual D6633?

I got the Dual Xperia Z3 today, I have a number with Wind and number with Virgin mobile here in Canada.
I installed both nano sim cards in the device but it wont allow me to use both at the same time. If I turn on one, the other goes off, if I turn on the other one, the first one goes off.
The device tells me one can do data while the other does gsm only, both carriers use gsm, so whats up? why am I not allowed to use both cards at the same time?
I just want one for data (obviously), but I want to be able to send/receive messages and calls for both.
I s that not possible?
Just found this:
Apparently only Rogers or Fido (rogers is the worst at scamming their costumers) use those bands.
