Database Info

HELP! Google Play Services drained 2GB in less than a day!

Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?

I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,

Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.

Yeah, thats exactly whats doing.

that was a CM bug, supposedly fixed in M7

Why would ya want that? If u wanted a Samsung UI should have bought a Samsung phone.

Because sometimes it bored the Pure Android interface.
I also like having the Sense UI on my Nexus 5, but are unstable rom always have a failure

You can't have everything on one device. Make your choice dude.
You can apply themes, icon packs, launchers, mods like HtcBlinkFeed... to have a similar UX though.

oneplus 3 nethunter Rom!

1) you need latest twrp recovery
2)first flash kernel and wipe charche
3) flash nethunter zip
4)you ara done
works with any freedom os, oxygen os (everythig works great just can't make duckhunter work)

I use it as my main driver. but it is just an overlay on your os..
I use fredom os. it works great.

So i just updated from 5.1.1 to 6.0 b820. I was so exited that I rooted it only to find out, that there is an update to 860.

For me it was battery drain. Generally updates are better

for me, emui 4 is better than emui3.. goes on personal prefferences . but in emui3 , as of my experience, battery backup is huge compared to emui4

can anyone post full rom of B860.

You have to have b820 and download it through the updatemanager on yout phone

Lg v10 h901 gets Android 9 pie update

Its been about 3 to 4 days now since I restored my phone's rom back to stock rom (android nougat) from the backup I made via twrp (I was previously on UNOFFICIAL Oreo 8.1 CypherOS) and after restoring my backup I got a notification to update my phone to Android 9, but what I don't understand is why nobody has mentioned anything about it nor why t mobile don't have it mention on their site either and how do one update via twrp

LG V10 has not received 8.0 Oreo and LG V20 just got 8.0 Oreo. Even the LG G7 (2018 flagship) is not running Android 9.0 Pie and that's a device I own. Do not help or try to mislead people

There is no pie rom for the H901. At all.
