Engadget are reporting a new OTA update is on the way for the G7, supporting 4K video at 60fps.
This feature is not in v10b, (or v10d in the UK) so is presumably an unknown new release

It's the Asian variant getting it. Seen it on Reddit earlier.
I saw this on Reddit also. Also TMO site shows there 8s a security update that went live on the 22nd. I am unable to get it, and LG Bridge will not connect..

I had no problem with it on the V30. Just won't connect on the G7.
I had the exact opposite; wouldn't play with my V30, but is now than happy with my G7... Same computer & installation and everything

Living in South Korea. Just received a new update that had long list of improvements. It was in Korean so couldn't understand all, but the most important of all (or may be one of the important) was [email protected] fps. Here are two screenshots for you to rejoice my friends.

When I checked yesterday, last night and at 7 my time this morning it said June 24. I swear it did
Talked to LG support about LG Bridge giving me the error message about not being able to check software version and I have come come to the conclusion that LG support doesn't know anything. They said LG Bridge can't update my phone only the carrier can and that my phone is on the most current software, which it is not, and even the T-Mobile software support page tells you that if you don't want to wait for the OTA, you can update via LG Bridge. The LG moron refused to acknowledge the issue with LG Bridge and kept telling me an update couldn't be forced which is not what I even contacted them for. I contacted them about the issue with LG Bridge not being able to check my software version.
Morons I swear.

Mine just pulled the OTA this morning when I did an update check and it downloaded g.
The LG support people are still morons for not addressing my question about LG Bridge not being able to check my software and telling me that there was no update and that LG Bridge can't update your software
The korean version already have the 60 fps in 4k.
But where is the stabilization? A bit pointless to have 60 fps without stabilization.

It is a tiered rollout usually.. So some may start to get it before we do unfortunately, it has to come to our devices. Though no mention of it being released.

Although I'm usually wary of others claiming "inside contact" knowledge, in this case I'll remain optimistic. The T-Mobile variant is overdue for an update. Absolutely nothing has come through yet since I purchased the phone on Oct 30th. I'm stock and no root/locked bootloader. At this point there's a laundry list of issues that need to be fixed including but not limited to YouTube freezing at 1440p playback and fingerprint scanner w/case on. My phone is paid outright and if T-Mobile doesn't push an update by the time the LG G5 specs are confirmed and the phone is released, AND I'm impressed, I'll have no problem selling this phone for it.

I believe the point was to related to the V10 -- articles from several sites reported that Feb 7th would mark the date that LG phones would start to receive Marshmallow. These phones included our V10 as well as the G4. Not all were going to be getting the update starting on that date, but that's the start date per these sites.

I suppose I agree, however being in the software design "Biz," and recognizing that missing Android 6 should not keep people up at night (understatement), it is far more important that LG gets it right, than if they are perceived as late. This is especially true with a phone is as highly customized as the V10. Also, I think that. 5.1.1 on the V10 is quite stable and fast overall. The upgrade promise was within 6 months of release, which would imply May at the latest. I would be OK with that- again, provided it is bug free, stable and fast.

I saw on the T-Mobile website that this week we will be getting the August and September Security updates plus LTE-A support to get is 194mbps downloads and uploads with a maximum of 400mbps on the network possible. SO we will be getting an update with faster network speeds. Also there will also be a new gallery app and also the cloud support thing. I do think that they patched the root from what I have been hearing. I do also know that we are getting the update by the end of this week. YAH.

I tried via my phone and via SamFirm and no update yet.
So we're getting 2 software updates one this month and another next month. The article also says "Customers with the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be able to use this new technology with a software update in October, with more phones on the way." For the 256 QAM and 64 QAM.
I'd the update don't hit your area why even bother. Denver needs it more than any other state why? Well in you live here you would have noticed the influx of people ever since 2012 when weed was made legal. Such ****ty speeds I had to remove my unlimited option because I was never getting more than 4gb at a time thanks to the horrible signal

In order to get the higher speeds, would only the modem need to be updated? If so, rooted phone users could just flash the modem and not need to be impacted by the "security" updates.

So I noticed most of the pink screen fix updates were only 200mb ish. Today AT&T got that update, but it was almost 500 MB. More than twice the size. Any ideas on what else changed?

AT&T usually posts a changelog within a few days of pushing a new release.
Meanwhile, the update itself displays this helpful information: "The software update supports enhanced performance and other device improvements".
It's G955USQU1AQDE, and the security level is still April 1, 2017 (not May).
Think it adds the red tint fix. So there are more display options.
I'm on verizon and haven't gotten a update since release day when I picked it up.
So one issue they seem to have fixed was that annoying DQA app popup that I disabled and re enabled before the update.

No, as I said, that description was from the update itself, not from AT&T. You can see that AT&T's changelog for AQD9 (they haven't yet updated it to AQDE) is at least slightly more informative.

Hi, I'm with Koodo, haven't received Feb security updates yet. Today is last day of February...
Same
I posted on the Fido forums about this issue and received the following response.
"I need to apologize for the confusion/misinformation. I just checked in with our device team and can confirm that LG actually wasn't able to deliver the February SMR on time. It was delayed to the point that they decided to go ahead with the March SMR instead, which Google agreed to. I have updated the OS schedule to reflect this.
We understand that you should be receiving monthly security updates on the G7 One, given that it's an Android One device. It's unfortunate that they haven't been delivered as promised.
Thank you, though, for posting this valuable feedback. It has already been passed along to our device team."

Right, and here we are March 14th and do not have the March one either! What a crock.
And LG is wondering why they're loosing money in their mobile division even though their phones are decent. Extremely poor in terms of taking care of their customer base.
Wondering if we can complain to BBB or some other agencies for misleading advertisement.
i talked to LG on Friday , they said that they had already sent March security update to the carriers.
this is getting ridiculous.
* edit * just got off the phone with LG again, this time i was told that all the software /security updates are pushed out by google... calling google now
Finally, I see an update and downloading it now. It's 338.4 MB in size. Phone is from Koodo ( Canada ) originally but have switched to Zoomer.
It did receive a february update in Japan, was pushed on 21 Feb.

I heard it will be the last update prior to 10. We still have 10 days left in Q1, so they can still live up to release prediction (in theory) but stuff in the world as it stands, a lag in delivery is respectable. Depends who's still working/programming/delivering and who's quarantined....
