I bought my Mi Mix 2s (M1803d5xa Global) over AliExpress from Mi Global Store a month ago. I wanted to skip the 15 days for unlocking the bootloader If i ever want to do it, but it seems like it's already unlocked.
The Splashscreen while booting says unlocked and in Developer Options OEM-unlock is greyed Out with (Bootloader is already unlocked) text. The unlock Tool isn't detecting my device.
Is this normal ? I bought it there, Cause i thought it's a trustable source.
Was the box sealed? I got my xa from them and it came locked.
Yep was sealed ... I'll Take a Look in the package when i'm Home .. maybe it was resealed and i didn't notice

I bought mine from them too and it came in a sealed box with a locked bootloader. Some sellers on Ali Express unlock the bootloader to switch ROMs--flashing the Global ROM on the Chinese model is done by some of the less scrupulous sellers. I didn't have any issues with Mi Global Store but you might want to look at the model number and make sure they didn't do something like that.
But inside MIUI, in phone info, does it say XA or XE?

I placed my order with Mi GLobal Store, just waiting for it to arrive. They say that it comes with play store installed in the listing, must that mean that they reflash it with global ROM?
I presume can relock the booloader so my banking app will work if my one arrives unlocked?
Everything is working fine so far. Rooted it now with magisk and my Banking App still works without relocking .. it's just a bad Feeling for me to get an already unlocked device without telling the customer .. and If they offer a global device they should say that they use flashing to get the global Rom on it

After I updatet my K1 to Marshmallow, screencast stopped working. Everytime I tap on mirroring in the quickbar, I only get the message that no Device is found. With my Xperia Z1 it works. Can someone give me some help please?

Have you tried to reset the chromecast? and/or clear the cache/data for the chromecast app. Maybe all you need is a system cache clean. You should ask this in the Q&A and not in the general forums.
I Do not have a chromecast. But my TV isready for mirroring. Or is my root / Unlocked bootloader blocking mirroring?
In that case, is it passable to relock the bootloader?

Hmm I don't think root would break it. I dunno bud.
I'm not a moderator so you're probably best to take this down, since no one has responded except for us, and repost to the Q&A.

how to resolve?
I am also trying to mirror my new Nvidia shield K1 to a tronsmart 1000 device and I get the exact same screen as OP above when looking for devices. This is the first time I've tried to do this since getting the tablet so I can not determine if it worked on previous version of shield or android. Got this tablet at xmas and updated to marshallow straight away before trying out mirroring via miracast. Definitely not my receiver with the issue as my phone works fine with it!

Guys, no CSC change will help you unfortunately. I'm in the UK, on the latest firmware and everything and also officially installed the app from Galaxy apps and it gives me the server error. We will have to wait

Do you have any idea how long HTC normally takes (e.g. on other devices) to run through the stages? Are we talking about a few days/weeks or even some months again?
If i'm asking already: does HTC support firmware updates by custom ROMs or does one have to flash stock bootloader+ROM first? Huawei had something like that and 'just' updating was never as fast as I wish it would have been
Its usually from when it starts rolling out a couple weeks till everyone gets ota... unless something goes wrong

EDIT: i tried to unlock a month ago when i was on global stable, then i moved to global beta and i didnt link to my mi account, could have had some effect on this?

And then u will find it can be unlock right now . At least It is working in China. I can borrow my account with u if u want
Finally! It worked, you just have to log in to mi account verrified with phone for 3 days and it will work

I had this on my new device. I already owned one and unlocked it after the waiting time. After I got the second device I waited again and tried to unlock...failed. Got the same error as you.
Tried it on a different pc - worked right away. Maybe use a different device to unlock. Did the trick for me!

Hi, my Mi Play got into a bootloop 3 days ago and I tried to unlock it, but unfortunately, I didnt have a mi account on the phone, I tried edl mode but it goes into boot loop again, Can I borrow your account, You can change password if you want, I just need to unlock my phone, then the rest is on me.. thanks

I think xiaomi did change this a while ago. Now you need and authorised account to flash in EDL mode.
I read in telegram groups people with this acc that will flash it via your computer for a fee ( 20 € +-)

I have no idea how they purchased this accounts, via business ones o private individuals, [emoji2369]just what I read in the groups. Not sure what they do either, all i know is that you have to install i think a program in you pc and they flash it remotely
