****ing Xiaomi...they release Note 5 Advance version in china with stable oreo update..further they provided 3-4 upgrade over that stable update..Moreover they provide china dev roms for Note 5...they even roll out miui 10 china public beta.
For India, now they are providing stable oreo after F****kng 5 months of release...what about global dev rom???god know..

Both Redmi Note 5 Pro & China/AI/Global device name is 'whyred', so cmiiw, whatever rom that works on Redmi Note 5 Global/China/AI also works on Redmi Note 5 Pro (Indian version).

As A Note 5 Global Owner I Can Swear By This One..
I don't think I can ever go back to software buttons after having Gesture Control.. much quicker and smoother.. :angel:

Yes, it's really cool.. but thing I'm missing in gesture is I can't quick toggle between recent window and present window, all I have to do is swipe from home and pause and then I have to select window

It's been almost four months since the launching of MIUI 7. During this time, MIUI devs have been working to bring the new Android versions to our devices.
Here're some good news: Mi 3 W/C, Mi 4 and Mi Note will be the first ones to get Android M (6.0)! The beta updates will roll out for them soon. From next week, these three devices will no longer get updates based on Android Kitkat (4.4).

Not all devices got the beta build, we will get it this month end may be.

EDIT1 : Just tried it out. Full of bugs. No "lightning fast app launches". Android lollipop 5.0. It seems to be a theme over MIUI8. Piece of crap MIUI.

i have use this rom, it's verry verry lag, still based on lollipop, LOL
OK ... now I just installed the new Global Dev ROM - 7.9.15 and so far it seems much better. Speaker bug is resolved and it is much smoother than MIUI8 or previous (buggy) build. Animations are missing ... let's hope the next version re-introduces them.

I installed a fresh rom... that is , I flashed from fastboot using miflash tool.
Xiaomi said that is the future will not possible to install global rom on its china phones offically then my question is:
all mi note 3 phones (also with global rom when purchased) are china phones then how is possible that we will have in the future a global stable rom for these phones ?

The announcement was made back in end of september, the new global beta will probably out this week. So yeah, they still give care to global ROM for this device. But I hope it ends soon (probably as one last global stable) and they concentrate on china ROM only.

This is the latest build with a January secpatch. The 9/12 version is better, imo.
MIUI 11 doesnt mean that base is Android 10. Currently latest global stable is on Android 9 with MIUI 11, update to Android 10 should arrive soon.
And xiaomi.eu mentioned aboce is custom rom based on china dev

I have Redmi 9 cattail (m2006cmii) with MIUI 12.0.13.0 global stable version (QCTINX) android version is 10 QPIA.190711.020 and Kernel version 4.9190-perf-g487ef5a, Baseband version MOLY.LR12A.R3.MP.V107.3.P104. I won't update it to android 11. how can I do it? Please help me.
The people at xiaomi haven't released the MIUI 13 update for the Redmi 9 cattail (which would be based on android 11) till date.
and frankly i think they've completely ignored the existence of the phone
So all we can do is wait and hope that they actually come through and give us the update.
