hi guys,
i rooted my k8+ earlier using twrp when it was on nougat now it have been updated to oreo and i am unable to find compaitable twrp file to flash and get root access , pls someone help me in getting compatible twrp file for my device or telling me some other method to root..

just updated to nougat 7.0 and attempting to root with SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742 found in the TWRF thread and once it reboots it sits at the Samsung screen (the fade-in/out)
anyone root the S7 with nougat yet?

Flash update supersu v2.79 Sr3 from chain fire
And also instaL no-verity-opt-encrypt-2.2 via twrp

Hi, I have root my device recently and installed custom ROM Pure Nexus 7.1.2 unofficial. After OS has been booted, I see Super SU missing form the new ROM. I have tried rooting again but that doesn't work as it is intended for 6.0.1 marshmallow but not for Nougat. Anybody have any insight how to get root in Nougat?

There are two Root methods..
Magisk & SuperSU
You choose which one you liked.. I'm personally not using Root

Hi hope someone can help me, ive been tryin to install twrp on my honor l09,i followed every step on the tut to install twrp, but when i reboot to recovery it will just stuck on "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted".. :crying:
Hi, you need to flash a correct twrp version, which will work for your phone model & android version installed.
Android 6.0 ("marshmallow") Honor 8 twrp version: 3.0.2 -> https://eu.dl.twrp.me/frd/twrp-3.0.2-0-frd.img
Android 7.0 ("nougat") Honor 8 twrp version: 3.1.1 -> https://eu.dl.twrp.me/frd/twrp-3.1.1-0-frd.img

I need help with rooting my A7 2018 on a stock Android 9.0 On google i'm only able to find threads of android 8 and below, but i did the 9.0 update.
Is there any way for rooting the phone? TWRP Recovery, SuperSU and maybe a custom rom.

Download official universal twrp 3.2.3.1 and flash through ODIN..
I did, twrp is running, but no root permissions, neither with superSu, nor magisk. What can i do?
I tried to install TWRP on my j701F using ODIN but I received the error: only official binaries are allowed to be flashed(recovery)
any idea how can I install this? my phone is updated to android 9.0 PIE but I want to root my phone using TWRP recovery / Magisk.
