Hi All,
I have this phone and I have installed the cutom ROM provided by Umidigi admins, but this does give any recovery capabilities.
When I boot to recovery I see an Android fellow lying belly up.
I am asking because I have to recover my files from the data partition after accidental factory reset. I have pulled up my phone from the pocket and voila! I have no idea how this happened. I had situations where somehow the user was switching itself in the pocket, but this time it was a proper factory reset.
To use any recovery software I have to 1st root it.
I have enabled USB debugging and enabled Unlocking in Settings, but I cannot unlock it from fastboot saying "unknown command", but fastboot is reporting: unlocked: no
Even if I want to clone the data partition using DD command the phone has to be rooted.
For quite some time I cannot post anything on Umidigi crappy message board.
Please advise.

I don't have this device and there's very little on the forum for this device but, I believe that you should be able to obtain some member guidance within the following thread that's specific to your device.

Thank you for pointing this out.
It looks like I am stuck for now.
And you know what?
I took my smart phone to the park (same location) and it factory reset itself again.
I am taking it out from my pocket and voila I see a setup wizard screen!
All lost again! Crazy.
I am just under the impression that while it was in my pocket some keyboard combination has made this happen.

Hey,
I've deleted my camera roll album and would like to recover the folder. At the moment, the phone is not rooted, and the programmes that I have used for recovery have been unsuccessful.
I am debating whether it will be worth rooting the phone.
Currently the bootloader is locked. So if I'm correct, the phone will be wiped when I unlock it. My question now being, will this also decrease the chances of recovery?
If So, does anyone have any suggestions?
I appreciate your expertise.

I need help with my mtk6737m phone which i bricked in a really dumb way
I need help flashing it with SP Flash Tool which gives an error that says:
S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (0xFC0)
Here is how i bricked it.
Today i decided that i want to flash a custom recovery on my phone, so i did and it didnt work.
For some reason when i tried to boot to the custom recovery it didnt work, it went to the stock one
For some reason i got stuck in a boot animation too...
So then decided that it was a good idea to flash to complete stock rom back to my phone,
but chose the format all + download option, so that the changes the custom recovery made
were deleted. Well, so i thought...
Is there any way to fix my bricked phone? Its the only one I have :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Hello, I know how to use the flashtool, my phone is completlely bricked and doesnt turn on, thats what I dont know how to fix. I got a response from another user saying i lost imei and completlely removed everything inside my phone and said maybe i can get help here, so far nothing

This wasn't extremely clear...
There's really not much of anything on the forum regarding a Bricked H17.
The following links are probably the best you're going to be able to locate via a Google search.
The following is just a few guides (with downloads) for installing the Stock Firmware back to your device.

Sorry, english is not my main language, its actually portuguese
I'll do my best to explain what happened from the beggining:
My homtom had some issues like, when you used the camera in any app it was dark, and on instagram stories, there were glitches on the screen, green and purple stuff started appearing in the screen and you couldnt see what was happening, so i decided to change my rom to a custom one.
I saw some tutorials..... and after watching them i tried to install TWRP so i could flash the custom rom..
After installing TWRP it wasnt working, when i tried "volume up + power" it went to the stock recovery.
So i thought it was a good idea to select format + download on SPFlashtool so it formatted the phone reseted all the changes i made...
After clicking, the phone immediately shut off and SpFlashtool said: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (0xFC0).
I dont know what i did but somehow i am not able to do anything on my phone, I tried new drivers, older firmware, stock firmware, different cable, different port, charging, but the phone doesnt even light up.
I think there must be a way to access the phone's storage and install android all over again but, what i dont know is how to do that. So thats why im seeking help, but no one seems to understand or know how to do that....
I hope you understand me now and know of a solution, if not, I appreciate that you tried to help me
if your phone have removable bettey, try only format option after remove bettery and after formate complet, download only rom with bettery..

Hello,
I rooted my lenovo tab 3 7 essential using kingo root and when a 29 mb system update came i downloaded it but when i tried to install it a screen popped up saying android recovery mode and there were some options like reboot now and check root integrity and install update using sd card or cache...and data factory reset...i chose data factory reset bcoz it wont reboot using the first option...but reset didnt work so i tried flashing it but accidently pulled the cable in the process now my tablet's screen went of and it dosent even boot....please please please help me guys
Please help me i want to fix my tab at any cost...even if it costs me loosing all the data..

Is it possible to flash the firmware of my LG F70 without using any of the phone "options" ?
Let me be a bit clearer :
I can't boot in recovery mode or download mode (even with adb). Either the phone is stuck in a boot loop or I got a "DemiGod crash handler : DBI Apps watchdog reset" purple error screen.
The phone is able to boot normally and I can use it. But I suspect a strong malware is causing me some troubles. I never tried to root the phone or something like that.
My phone can't help me. Can you ?

Hi, im a total noob on this matter and i don't even know if this is the right thread to post this issue, anyway, yesterday i decided to relock my bootloader because i couldn't install Netflix and i didn't find the root useful, now, i succefully relocked the bootloader but when i launch my phone it just goes into twrp mode and it start with this message: "Unmodified System Partition". I have 0mb of internal storage and i can't seem to launch twrp in recovery mode because the same message up here seems to appear. I don't really know what to do, help.

Thanks man but i already fixed the issue, i just had to launch the phone in erecovoery mode (the power + up volume + down volumne), basically i restored all the internal storage and now i have the phone back! thanks anyway.
