Moto G XT1033 - SDCARD read only - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
Last week my MOTO G gone... It was locked in Motorola screen. I let it discharger 0% so many times last week.
My device was bootloader locked, with no USB debugging.
Ok, i search a lot and found some information. I used the bellow link:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/moto-g-bootup-problem-recovery-mode-t3122492/
I ran bootloader and try recovery option, but got "Boot up failed message"
I did the some steps: unlock bootloader and then I tried flash a rom in fastboot. No error message returns, but the device always stay in unlocked bottloader screen. I used XT1033 5.02, 5.1 roms but without success.
Then... Tried command:
mfastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.1-0-falcon.img
But when I reboot phone and entered recovery, got "no command" error.
Following my link guide above, I tried the command:
mfastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-falcon.img
And success! I finally could enter in TWRP and backup all my data. Good!
But my sdcard is appearing as read only!
I tried:
WIPE option (Wipes Data, Cache and Dalvik),
Advanced WIPE option (the partitions before and Data and Internal Storage ),
and Format Data option - No success
I did all the steps with partition Data mounted and repeated it again unmounted, booting the device in each try.
I tried the option Repair or Change File System (/data is F2fs) and tried to change the partition to EXT4 - no success.
I tried the same commands described in page 7:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/moto-g-bootup-problem-recovery-mode-t3122492/page7
and got the same results - no success.
I tried to use PUSH command, but it returns error failed to copy <filename> - read only file system.
Please, could you help me? Thanks in advance.

Your phone's eMMC chip probably died. You have no choice but to do a motherboard replacement. Or get just the chip replaced, but it's risky, since it involves resoldering and reballing BGAs.
Those frequent full discharges killed the chip, I suspect.
Since you've got your data backed up, I suggest you try either of these options.

[Q] Razr HD Stuck in bootloop

Hey guys, love all the work that goes on in this forum.
I've run into a bit of a problem. My mate gave me his phone to try and fix after he interrupted a factory reset. It's stuck in a bootloop.
It's a RAZR HD and was originally from Telstra (Aus).
I've managed to unlock the bootloader, but quickly after that everything has gone to hell.
When I turn the phone on, it gives the bootloader is unlocked message. Then the android installation guy comes up and after about 5 seconds of trying to install the phone bootloops.
I am able to enter the Android System Recovery (3e) and have done factory reset/wipe data and wipe cache options, however does not change anything. When I press reboot system, the bootloop continues as if I did nothing. I have tried installing a ROM from an SD card however it fails at the Verifying Package stage. I am unable to adb push anything as usb debugging wasn't turned on.
I am able to enter into fastboot and can see my device however cannot flash any images from there for some reason using the fastboot commands (it comes up with a <bootloader> variable not supported! error: cannot load '[name of image file]'
I was able to use RSD Lite to flash the official Telstra ROM to the phone, however at the very end of the installation when it rebooted, it just went into the bootloop again.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks guys!
Anyone?
I was able to get adb sideload to work (I had the wrong path name to the zip file) but still no luck...

try mfastboot and flash the partition table first, if that fails, there is no hope of saving the device. if it passes, flash the rest of the files, including the wipe command.

Thanks for the reply. When you say flash the partition table first, would that be the partition_signed file (aka mfastboot flash partition partition_signed)?

[Q] don't boot anymore, can not flash

Dear friends, three days ago, my phone stoped (hang) working and I turn it off by pushing the power button for seconds. then turn on again and it stops on GOOGLE logo.
I tried all things I found here, flash with all software, flash with fastboot and ...
the thing is some times it accept some , for example
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase system
and and and
but I couldn't do flash system or recovery. when I do it, it starts to send to file to device and sending will be ok, but in writing, it says FAILED <remote: flash write failure>
can anyone help?
please
Same problem here
I have the same problem.
I turned off the device by pushing the power button for seconds. Then the device bootlooped, so i decided to reflash the rom (cyanogenmod 12.1) but the recovery didn't recognize the internal storage, and when i tried to make some wipe an error saying impossible to mount /data and /cache appeared. So i decided to flash the stock rom but during the flashing process, i had the "FAILED (remote: flash write failure)" message.
I also tried
HTML:
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p28
via adb to format data, but nothing happened.
I think that the /data partition is corrupted (also /bootloader because i had the same problem), but the eMMC is not damaged (i also followed this guide), so there's hope .
P.S. Sorry for the bad english.
You might want to try using WUGfresh Nexus Tool Kit V2.05. You can easily find it if you check here. I does require USBdebugging is set to be on. You can easily do do this by turning on the builer options. this is done by tapping on the "Build Number" 7 times. I can be found by going to settings and selecting "About Phone"
I hope this helps. WUGfresh Nexus Tool Kit is a great tool

[Softbricked Phone] Help needed

Hi everyone.
3 days ago, my OPO has gone softbricked during the night while charging. Don't know why, i haven't make any change during the past days.
Anyway, it's current state:
- Stuck on boot screen (screen with "Cyanogen Mod Ready")
- Can access fastboot
- Can access TWRP recovery
- Bootloader is unlocked
- Phone is found in the PC "Device Manager"
- No change if using an other cable or USB port
And what i can't do:
- with adb tools : phone is not found with cmd adb devices (no answer in "list of devices attached"), changing drivers multiple times don't change that
- during recovery : can't wipe data / cache / factory reset (it says "Unable to mount /data" "Unable to mount /cache", "Unable to mount storage")
- during fastboot : can't flash anything (for instance with the OPO Toolbox, the answer is always "FAILED (remote : flash write failure)", or with command fastboot flash XXXX get the same FAILED answer)
After reading internet threads and sites, it seems that the problem is a corrupted partition, but i can't find something which can solve my problem.
Any advises?
Thx in advance!

Is your bootloader unlocked? If not try it with this command:
fastboot oem unlock
Click to collapse
After that try wiping your partitions via fastboot for ex.
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase system
Click to collapse
And then try flashing again.
Hope it helps:good:
Regards,
acervenky
Hi acervenky,
Bootloader is unlocked, yes.
Unfortunately, wiping partitions with those commands didn't work.
For the 5 commands, i have the answer : FAILED (remote : failed to erase partition).
This phone is going to drive me insane!
So a little update status of my phone.
I have sent a question at request at the oneplus one support.
They have answered quite fast. They made a "rendez-vous" to try to unbrick it by phone but all that was tried have been already done.
They send me instructions for sending the phone to a factory in a foreign contry.
I have received the phone this afternoon, 1 week after it was sent.
Seems to work perfectely fine.
They say that they have changed the Motherboard, which is the problem here.
So if u have the same problem, don't hesitate to use the oneplus one support.
Is there a way to change the title to show that it was a motherboard problem?

Access internal storage with stock ROM and locked Bootloader

Hi everyone,
so I have an Honor 8 with stock ROM, USB Debugging disabled, locked Bootloader and it is stuck in a boot loop after an update.
ADB does not recognize the device, fastboot does, but rejects any command.
The recovery screen shows in green letters "phone locked".
I suppose that's the worst case scenario.
E-recovery failed with the usual errors "getting package info failed" and "device is not supported".
I have two questions:
1. Is it in any way possible to access the internal storage, e.g. DCIM to download media files?
2. If 1 is not possible, can I rollback the update or flash a new ROM to get the phone running again?
I read "solutions" to factory reset the phone and then run some data recovery tools to reconstruct the data, but I would like to avoid wiping the data partition if it can be avoided.
Thanks for any answer and kind regards,
Martin

Can't boot

I went through the process of using Smali and Magisk on my phone. Everything was good. Since I was doing this for PoGo, I decided to "clean-up" by disabling some of the settings. I turned off OEM unlocking, reboot the phone in to the bootloader and did a adb flashing lock. I rebooted the phone and not get the error "Can't find a valid operating system". I can boot in to the bootloader with the power button + down volume but I can't unlock the bootloader with ADB and fastboot.
Am I screwed?
I'm also not able to boot in to recovery. I also get the error "Can't find valid operation system"
Well probably too late to reply.
I'm not an expert, i'm newbee but when i installed my custom rom i met some problems to reboot. I solved them by re-installing firm operating system. You can do it by connecting your device with a good usb cable and go to google website : android flash tool
This will reinstall a new an clean system (but erase your data if not saved before).
After that you can install a custom rom from the begining.
