Nylon Bumper back in stock! - OnePlus 6 Accessories

Hey guys, I got an email from OnePlus this morning (June 6th, 2018) that the Nylon Bumper case is back in stock and ready to ship!
So, finally I bought one!
Funny thing, the moment I ordered it, I received another email from Amazon offering shipping confirmation about my Spigen Rugged Armor case for OP6. I forgot about it! I hope OP6t has the exact body dimensions and camera/fingerprint/flash placement. Fingers crossed.
But I digress, ONEPLUS NYLON BUMPER CASE is back IN STOCK!
www.oneplus.com

Just ordered one myself.

I'm pretty frustrated with OnePlus and their CS. I can purchase a Nylon bumper case just fine by itself. But if I buy the Silk White OP6, and add the Nylon case, when I get to the shipping part, it says the Nylon case is out of stock, and I can't use my $20 off voucher. So I tried buying the case alone with the $20 off voucher, and that isn't possible either, because in order to get the $20 off you need to buy a device. CS told me that the case was actually out of stock 5 hours after it was in stock. The whole experience was/is frustrating.

Love my Nylon Bumper case. I can honestly say that it's the best case I've ever had on a phone. I might even order another one to have a spare.

Totally agree. I had my concerns about the durability of the nylon weave back but i'm happy to say that they were unfounded. It is a great case.

When I bought my OP6 the nylon case was out of stock. So I had to settle (LOL NEVER SETTLE) for the Karbon Bumper. I got the package with the 3D tempered glass protector, case, & Bullet v2 earbuds (they sound amazing BTW, especially on the V30 DAC).
Later, I pre-ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor case and forgot about it. Then the day the nylon case came back to stock I ordered it.
Currently using the Spigen case and it's incredible!
Hopefully the nylon case comes soon also.
I'm also hoping the 6T has the exact same body & set-up (camera, fingerprint scanner, buttons, etc..) so I can use one of these many cases on it as well.
Side note: ALL versions of the OP6 are in stock as well, again. Which is kinda sad because they never stayed in stock this long before which is why I couldn't get the 5t last year.
Overall, loving my first OnePlus device and am excited for my second (6T).

Where are the cases?

Pre ordered the Moto X Pure. But looking for a nice tpu or bybrid case. Usually, there's a lot of cases available for a phone before the phone releases. But not the Pure/Style. I know there's a a few on amazon etc... But those cases are junk. Cheap made and will fall apart in a week. I see that incipio has one and ugly otterbox. But never really liked incipio and otterbox. But where are, seidio, Griffin, Belkin, UAG, Spigen???
I doubt UAG will have a case for the moto x pure but I would love it if they did.

Most of the high quality, big name companies didn't make for the previous 2nd Generation model, so they probably aren't for this. Maybe they have some kind of pay to play scheme and Moto isn't paying.
Well, for right now, I went for the MoKo. Less then $10. Hope it will hold till UAG or Spigen releases one. Or Supcase...

People seem to like the variant of it for the Moto G or whatever. The Amazon reviews are about the best feedback you're going to get for the moment. I bought a number of $3-4+shipping cases myself. I don't feel like buying a $30 Incipio case at the moment... And my old phone is still using a cheap case I put on it back in 2012, so I've had good experiences with the cheaper ones anyway.

It will hold. I have had that case for quite a few phones. It is just a bit bulky. I like it for phones under 5 inches and it was OK on the 2014 moto X.

Has anyone seen any cases like the flip shell for the Moto G? Most of these add to the already bulky look of the phone (and don't protect the screen).
I ordered this one (http://amzn.com/B013HSX5L2). I'm actually looking forward to the transparent back. I got the Ash wood back.
I ordered this case before my MXP arrived and had it waiting. I wish it was a little snugger fit, but it'll do for $8 shipped until something better comes along.
(Yes, the volume buttons are labeled incorrectly)

I just got my Moko. I'm not a fan. So far it seems well made, but the holster is backwards when I wear it on my left side.
In addition, it's off-center, so I'm always putting the phone in the wrong way, and the phone can't go in with screen facing out, which makes the the much more stable holster clipstand useless.

Waiting for my SUPCASE Hybrid to come in. Looking into getting a Seidio Note 4 or Note 5 holster since the Note 4/5 is about the same size as MXPE. I think there is a 0.02mm difference between Surface version and Dilex.

Hi,
Just received the Incipio DualPro case. Fit is good, buttons respond well.
Decent dual layer protection. Back is a little slick/slippery.
I'll use it for a while and see how I like it,
Ken
Here it is: http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartp...ualpro-case-motorola-moto-x-pure-edition.html
I got the incipio octane and i really like it. The incipio dual pro is too slick to hold on to though
Does anyone have a pic of the Incipio Octane with frost back?
I'll give you a thank for it lol
Are there any bumpers besides the one that comes in the box..preferably TPU? The one that comes with the phone is a hard plastic that makes the vibration super loud on a desk, but I also don't want to cover the case with a full back.
Anybody found one?

Spigen slim armor and tough armor

These weren't there when I looked at the site earlier today. I purchased my slim from Amazon. Spigen says it's available on the 26th, but Amazon says it ships the 14th.
Slim Armor
http://www.spigen.com/collections/pixel/products/slim-armor-google-pixel-xl-case
https://amzn.com/B01M0FIVZ3
Tough Armor
http://www.spigen.com/products/tough-armor-google-pixel-case?variant=27075800193
They only show the tough armor for the pixel (NOT XL) right now
I was very happy with the SlimArmor on my N6, and was disappointed that they didn't make one for the N6P. Excited to be able to get one around my new Pixel XL!
Simple, protective design, kickstand, and just enough of a lip to cover the small gap that most TGSPs will leave exposed.
It's my perfect case. Thanks for sharing the find!
I have owned Spigen tough cases for my last few phones. Just preordered the Pixel XL and disappointed to see they don't have the tough yet for this phone on Amazon. I see it on eBay though so there is hope but delivery may not be till Nov 12th. Not sure if I need to just find a temporary case for a few weeks.

I went with the Spigen rugged armor, I just received it today. The build quality looks great as usual but i won't know on fit and function until tomorrow.
Although I won't receive my phone until Nov. 21-23, I have the Slim Armor in hand. The kickstand was easily dislodged when the carbonate backing was removed. It probably will be rectified when the phone is attached.
Just holding it, it feels slippery in hand. Having a phone might improve the grip.

A lot of people complain about the kickstand when they first see a spigen case. It does pop out when there is no phone in it. Once the phone is it, I have never personally had an issue with the kickstand coming off. It is usually really hard to open and I have to use something to pry it up.
Mine was slippery as well. I thought about washing it with a small amount of dish soap to see if there's something on it.
@nicemann Does the rotation of the kickstand leave marks on the phone? Because it looks like it's going to rub the back of the phone.
I can say that the kickstand is not flushed; there is a slight depression.

Shouldn't. If it's like the Slim Armor I had for my N6. It rests in between the outer shell and the inner TPU... not in direct contact with the phone.

@nicemann @h0bnail The pivot rod is exposed to the back of the phone on this case. I'll take a pic when I get home tonight.

UAG review?

Does anyone have input on the UAG cases? The Amazon ones are mixed and I don't want to burn $30.
i have the ash uag case for mine and my wife's pixel xl since the beginning of December.
was looking forward to this case. when i first got it i liked it alot, but then other people got theirs and made me start to look at mine again. the one issue is that the lip at the top and bottom seem to show a little bit too much metal. it's almost like as though they rushed the case. i thought the case from uag would have been similar to the uag case they did for the galaxy note 4, in how it wrapped the phone and you knew it was protected.
since getting my uag case i have ordered the presidio grip, didn't like it, not that much screen protection and that case felt lose on the phone.
ordered the seidio dilex, bigger case tab the uag in feel making the phone feel bulkier but the headphone jack cutout is too small, unless your headphones have a skinny plug. will be sending that one back.
received the vrs design high pro shield. same thing not that much lip on the screen and button feel was not that great.
was going to order the LifeProof fre but read people having flash issues at night with the case on. still thinking about giving the caseology case a try.
so after going through those cases determined the uag case will work and get the job done with a screen protector. just ordered the full screen glass protector from spigen through Amazon, presently using the yootech screen protector.
thought about going back to the diztronic but just a little too plain. and the uag has taken a few slips out the pocket already and has survived so will stick with this one for the time being.

I have been using UAG cases for years. As soon as the version for the XL came out I had it. I used it for 2 days and hated it. It did not fit quite right and was very heavy compared to the Spigen Rugged Armor. I threw my UAG in a drawer and have no plans to use it again.

Which original case to buy?

I wonder which original case from Oneplus will be the best for Oneplus 6?
I never had Oneplus phone and I don't know this cases.
Could You explain me difference between Bumber Case and Protective Case?
I think about carbon. I would like to choose case that will the best protector for my phone. This is the most important for me. I consider only original cases. I will buy original screen protector too.
From specification I see that Bumber Case is heavier 25g vs 11g. So I think that will be better
I've owned both the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 5. In my experience, the bumpers are no more then just fancy shells for the phone that don't exactly feel like the offer that much protection to the phone, and I ended up buying Tudia full body cases for both phones. If you want a OnePlus case though, go with the Silicone one - had that for my OP5 and I loved it honestly. However, I feel that OnePlus cases are more crafted for their style than they are for the protection they offer (which is quite depressing, as the Sandstone cases felt so nice to hold in your hand), so you might want to consider looking elsewhere for a case.
As for screen protectors, the tempered glass ones by OnePlus themselves are usually the best, but a lot of cases don't work with them (including the Otter Box case offered by OnePlus). Third party TGSPs are cheaper, but they aren't 3D and often let dust slip in underneath. I ended up slapping a OnePlus TGSP onto my OP3 and then adding a Tudia full body case with a built in screen protector, and that thing survived so much abuse (and is still kicking actually).
I actually had the Carbon case with a OP tempered glass screen protector on my OP5, and the case did nothing to absorb the impact from a fall at work and shattered the glass. The case was nothing more than a hard plastic shell honestly.
But that's just my two cents
I'm gonna wait for third parties first. Till then a poach is the way for me.

Get the OnePlus carbon bumper, top quality made by EVUTEC. The bumper case protects more. The normal case does not protect the top, bottom and buttons that well.

Looks like the 3rd parties have already gotten started! Just had a look now for mine, and seems like Orzly already have a few up on amazon.
Some are on pre-order but others seem to already be in stock already. (unbelievable how quick some of these 3rd parties are getting organized these days).
The phone's barely been announced!
Anyways, here are the ones I've found from them:
Their version of the silicone (I think they call theirs a FlexiCase)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3Y8WPP/&keywords=OnePlus+6+case
Their version of the bumper (they call theirs a Fusion Bumper as it has a clear back so you can see the phone whilst still having the decent protective rim in an actual color)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4MDMD1/&keywords=OnePlus+6+case
The Wallet Case (this is the type that I normally get, so I can use the built in stand for watching videos on my phone)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3Y246N/&keywords=OnePlus+6+wallet+case
The Lux Case (this style I've not seen before).. Looks like it does the credit card storage thing, but is more of a leather back than the full wallet. (I kinda never use the credit card storage anyway, so it's like they removed the bit I actually use (ie the stand), but kept the bit I don't use (the credit card bit!) haha. Would probably be useful for carrying rail cards though.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4P3BGQ/&keywords=OnePlus+6+leather+Case
I normally get my glass screen protectors from them, as they're usually a better fit for the OnePlus phones, but I can't seem to find them yet. But if anybody spots them, let me know.
Like Orzly bumper one. so far looks best solution as I don't see transparent original case yet.
Am Gonna pre-order that case and be happy

You might as well go for a OnePlus case if you're grabbing the phone anyway. You can usually get it cheaper I'd you buy it bundled with a screen protector or something, too.
Spigen typically does make cases for OnePlus devices, but if I remember correctly, they took *forever* to release one for the OnePlus 5. I don't remember seeing one for sale until at least six months after the OP5 launched.
I like the looks of nylon case, and expect it to feel great in hand , if I go by reviews. It also offers decent protection and is the most unique OnePlus case this year IMO

It looks like they actually offer some decent protection this year too — they cover all edges of the phone, whereas previous cases tended to leave the top and bottom edges exposed.

I agree the nylon case is stunning. But don't forget to factor in it is PC+TPU case while the Carbon Fiber is only a TPU case. But because of this, the Nylon case is 58.5% thinker and 28% heavier than the Carbon Fiber one. Now we are talking about millimeters and grams, so they aren't going to be drastically different, but it swayed me.
Nylon. It has a soft touch lining and that rugged shell - also full coverage. Looks nice too.
I got my 6 a day early and also got the nylon case. Very, very cool.
I ordered carbon Bumber Case. I think carbon will be better, more durable material thank nylon one.

Ordered Oh So Orange, need recommendations on clear cases

I love the look of this phone, and have always used a case, so I'm interested in your thoughts on clear cases.
I've seen my dad use them and it seems like they can get quite dirty between the phone and the case. I don't know if I'll like the feel of the hard plastic case that you get.
I did also get the cheaper insurance through Verizon that only covers replacement and only $20 glass repair, so I may just go caseless.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid in clear.
I ordered the SunRemex from Amazon with built in screen protector. I don't know if it makes a difference, but only 1 cut out for the front speaker. Not even the camera. . Wonder if it will mess with motion sense.
I would highly recommend the Caseology clear case. It's $10 with the Amazon coupon and I've used this on many past phones but currently have it on my Not Pink 3XL. I'm receiving it today along with my 4XL to make sure and show off the coloring. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X7JWC3V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y1S4FXG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used this on my 3XL and it hasn't yellowed and it held up quite well. Very pleased with the purchase and the black would accent the orange quite nicely.

Just picked up this one from Amazon:

Getting it in the mail today. I can share my thoughts once I get it. I usually go caseless and use a pop socket but it won't stick to the back because of the finish. Plus I still want to use wireless charging so I can just remove the case every night. I bought a pop socket mount for my car a few weeks ago so I'd like to continue using that as well.
This one has a built in screen protector that sucks... I snatched it out the case and used a TGSP, now I absolutely love it!

I can tell you that the ESR Mimic is a great case.
I had ordered the ESR Mimic, the essential zero and the Spigen Liquid Crystal and ultimately kept the Mimic and returned the others.
The Mimic is slim, has the tpu bumper for grippiness and the glass back looks and feels great.
I got it with the above codes and before they raised the price a little so I paid approx. $14, which is a steal.
I know it'll yellow eventually with the tpu bumper, but I'll enjoy it until then. I've already got the google fabric case, which is bulkier but feels and looks great too. And, whenever rhinoshield gets their act together, I'm all over their bumper case.
Have been wanting to see this on a device. Using a fabric case myself, but this will likely be the next.

best one!!!
Spiegen Liquid Crystal Clear. Looks glorious. Usually go with Rinke Fusion but glad I switched
I have the spigen ultra hybrid and the ESR essentially zero case. Both are great depending upon how much protection you feel comfortable with. While the ESR feels great and fits great, I feel better with the additional thickness of the spigen. But they are both great as far as clear cases go.

Yep. I'm still very much enjoying my esr mimic. Really nice case and as I said above, I also used the discount code.
I just yesterday ordered the Totallee thin case (also with nice discount) in my pursuit for a super slim case. Should have it Monday and I'm thinking I'll like it after reading some reviews. And I'm still waiting for the rhinoshield bumper case.

How's this case working out for you? I've been through a couple of clear cases so far but not completely satisfied yet and came across the TORRAS as well so I'm curious how it actually is.
I have the Spigen liquid crystal on right now, but the excessive branding along the edges is pushing me towards another case and I believe one of the ESR clear cases is the same way. Does the TORRAS have a lot of branding and text along the edges? I don't understand why they put all that on clear cases to begin with.

I'm liking it so far. I remove it every night to charge it wirelessly and it's not a problem. It doesn't add too much bulk and you can still see the design of the phone. There is absolutely no branding on the sides. The edges around the front aren't huge and don't bother me one bit. You can still easily call up the assistant with gestures.
