did you fix some problems in this version?
i mean is there any different from the rom BETA 2?
and what abut laging? did you fix it?
Telephone works now, also timekeeping seems to work and not many lags faced yet.
Please try it on yourself, did not have much time to test every build because of my little family and work.

snap is better because it uses newer drivers and open source (like the rom itself). and there is no point if you add sony camera because it is an AOSP rom, it meant to be pure android (except lineage tweaks)
Also @sgspluss , is this rom deodexed? if not, can you make it deodexed, it will make customisation easier

Thats not that easy as you think, because need to port this app to the api, but apart of this i want to stay close as possible to lineage.

Afaik there will be no odex files, if there are one i will change it in next update. To be honest, did not check it.

@sgspluss do you know why Magisk don't work on previous builds? M2 is no longer supported by Magisk or it's just fixable in the next builds?
after a test i notice these bugs:
1- laging so much after installing opera mini and es file Explorer.
2- over heating in charging bluged and using net for 10 minute.
3- in the screen setting / style/ auto day and night. itsnot working.
4- the lightbar not working even if i enable the light settings.

Unfortunately no, but maybe somebody else remember version. Hmmm... Actually I am not sure that Magisc was working on LineageOS or on Ressurection ROM...

the lag is much more in your bulid..light bar was working in BEAT 2.
style day and night bug was present in BETA 2..
i was test ALPHA 4 before.every thing working of the bug i say before expact the light bar.and its the most smoth version.. its lagy.. but most smother than all
About problem with magisk, we are also unable to install the magisk manager will look into it whats the reason.
About lags and bugs its strange because i am using same sources, as you can read.
If Something not working logs are helpfull otherwise it takes more time to figure out whats wrong.
What you can do about lags, install supersu from lingeage 14.1 (currently the one from lineage 15.1 and magisk are broken), go into your build.prop, search ro.config.low_ram=true, remove this line and safe build.prop, now restart your phone and test if lags are better.

and here goes my report (very early report, i will add more information)
1-) without gapps, there is some frame dropping in animations and recent apps section (with or without android go mode) but it is same as beta 2, but a bit slower than 8.0 versions. i wonder is there a huge change under the hood between two versions
2-) no lag present in bootanimation, that's unexpected
3-) front camera video works
4-) dark mode works just fine
summary: our device can't handle gapps, that's what i see here. there are minimal frame droppings. also rom is odexed sadly
Just invest some minutes about the magisk problem, seems that we are not compatible yet or never was. But you can send the developer logs, he will look into it, it has nothing to do with rom, lucky me at this point.
About the .odex files that seems to be normal, also can be found on other devices, so there i can not do anything.
Also flashed Alpha4 doesnt be smoother its just uses more animations and some more graphic things related to not using go optimization, also takes more ram, because of not using go optimization so this will be preserved also in the future.

go optimization is better for our device for sure, but this recent apps lag holds me back. but without go and using microg, rom holds up pretty good actually.
As written bevor try to remove ro.config.low_ram=true from build.prop and tell me if this problems you faced will be fixed. All other go optimizations are not changeable manually.
If this will solve the problem, will remove it for future builds, thats fixed for all.

as i said before, i am using rom with low_ram=false, and there is less lag compared to go enabled mode.

Important Note:
After "Welcome Wizard" start, might appear an error about TeslaOS Stat FC, so don't worrry.
Since this rom is really fresh, this build is only to for speed and stability test, i don't recommended for daily use since video rec and stock browser crash, feel free to test.
When finish to setup device in "Welcome Wizard" after first boot, might Launcher taking some time to done, if take longer than usual just press Home button then open Recent apps and close it.
All of these bugs will fixed in next build.

Issues:

Installation Insturaction
- Make sure you are either on any Lollipop ROM or on 4.2.2 TW based ROM and
NOT on 4.1.2 TW based ROM
- Install a TWRP with SELinux support
- Download the latest build
- Download GApps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using your custom recovery
- Flash GApps
- For I9105 (without nfc) flash NFC DESTROYER
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!

new updates will come out after update releasing RR and AOSP 5.1.1, which google release new version each 5 minutes like R18, R19 that bored me a lot with their updates, bah.
Performance is good.
However: calls don't work (It says I don't have an app for that on the device)
I can't change user details (says contact does not exist)
The setting that stops FC notifications altogether has "notifications" spelled wrong in its description
Missing SU settings
Missing navigation bar control
Missing disable SU icon in status bar
The loading screen after first setup (with a small loading bar at the bottom) never disappears. I had to press the home button to get to the launcher.
I'll tell if there's anything else. So far, this shows almost no lag (very rare) and is very promising.
EDIT: Oh, and I can't find any lock screen settings (pin, etc)

Edit 2: guest account doesn't work.
Edit3: nvm about the lockscreen, I found it, seems like it had its own category and wasn't under security.
Until the update is up, could you please provide a fix for phone? XD I can bear no video and I use ghrs's fix for browser, but I can't receive or send calls at all.

I even tried Google caller from a lollipop zip with only gapps contacts and dialer. It's not the app, it's missing some libs or something else I don't know

New build will up after finish compiling AOSP 5.1.1 R18 and download tesla source (did you try this rom? the latest build it has only 20 downloads where everything works except pinning apps, i hope to be solved since was source bug).
if some one could list missed stuff, might can be added in next build after do these roms

For me, at least more customization would be nice xD like I always wanted to be able to change which icon the system picks for each app from icon packs, since not all apps have icons and I want to put similar icons system-wide not launcher-wide, but otherwise it's ok (if you fix the bugs, add SU control and nav bar control and all the other previously mentioned stuff xD)

I will plan and fix next week, i have to correct a bug in pure aosp r18, because didn't recognize my simcard, all patches are works fine, but i am not sure if provider issue or sim slot..

Well, I will have to disappoint you on that. The rom is smooth and snappy BUT it is by no means as smooth and fast as the Google Pixel. Ofcourse, you can try it and report because your experience may be different

Dirty Flashed the rom on resurrection remix and working very well so far. I just have an issue with the root. I've tried to switch it on and I'd multiple times from Dev options but it doesn't work. Should i flash supersu for root?

Me too, when the setup pass through the "Just a sec.." screen it stops working.
How to workaround??
Solved, I've just remove the setup wizard from /system/priv-app by using twrp's file manager.
I will test it today and report back. Need to test whether VoLTE works or not though.

I am going to try this with OpenGapps as with the given one I can't able to add google account and more over there is no Google play services at all and I have to manually download from the apkmirror and even after doing that It keeps crashing. Yes. Go to Default apps and set Google dialer as the default one.

For me it works just fine. Try flashing root again, whether it's lineage root or supersu

It is based on purely stock Lineage OS, not with extra commits.
OpenGapps will delete some apps and thus the ROM will have many issues eg no launcher or some apps may miss.
Try flashing the ROM and the Gapps (that I gave) without booting and of course wipe everything again
-BE AWARE-
Flash the given Gapps without booting the system. Let me be more specific. Do not boot the ROM before flashing the given Gapps, otherwise you will have many issues.
Also OpenGapps will delete Pixel Launcher and thus you won't be able to use the ROM

Go to settings - apps - click on gear icon - click on 'Phone app' and select Phone.

Its a great news for those who want to install MIUI on their LE2X526. Until now, we have been facing low brightness issue with almost all the MIUI roms we had installed till date except one which was a little buggy when applying darker themes and recent apps.
But now, the latest release of AndroModX Kernel(V2) which had been developed by Rishabh Rao can solve this issue. I had installed MIUI Russian official version and along with it, installed AndroModX V2 kernel just to test it out. I had installed the same rom earlier but had uninstalled it due to low brightness issue which was too much strain on eyes and is totally non visible in daylight.
But with AndromodX Kernel, right after the first boot up, the screen was even brighter than EUI stock rom and every thing was working just fine. Even battery backup seems to have improved drastically. In the course of 1hour 30 minutes that I used MIUI Official Russian rom with AMX Kwernel, battery dropped just 5%.
I was at 79% when I started working on the rom with 4G network on and I put the screen on highest brightness level which was very very bright. Sync was on, download was on at full speed, music playing in the backgroud & I was browsing.
If any one like to use MIUI on their LE2X526, try it alongside AMX Kernel. Preferably use Russian Version of MIUI coz it does not have any chinese blotware. Or you can try the kernel with any other version of MIUI. Your choice.

Wipe cache, device, data & system. Then flash MIUI first. After that, immediately flash and kernel. Then go to wipe and factory reset. Then reboot to system.

I had not faced that issue. But I think, you can flash eui19s modem over it. This may solve the issue.

but I recommend that you stick with 1 build until it gets stable and start with next one.

Its lineage 14.1 meaning nougat, just typo failture in titel.
I have build this as fallback because its at the moment stable, while oreo need more work.
Also to build more as one rom is no problem, because the bugs are the same and if i've fixed them in one rom, they also will be fixed in all other. The main working place is lineage, all other roms are just because its possible.

The problem with los14.1 is when enabling low ram flag, animations becom very lagy, can you do something about that?
Afaik but not sure, you can build any 4.4+ rom that support low ram flag new animations, but you must follow some steps to make it compatible.
This is what what I thought after reading @AdrianDC 's thread about low ram flag.
If my informations are wrong, please let me know right ones.
If animation thing can be fixed, I'll stick with nougat to the rest of my life.

i tried this on 8.0, and here is the result; phone became so laggy and there is black everywhere (well thats what i expected) but second flag does not do anything at all
Its OT here, but which version are you are unsing of my oreo with build date, then i can tell you more why it doesnt work.
For nougat its working fine, just add it now into the build.prop and overall animations are fine so far, also transparency is given so all high grafic features are enabled while heavy ram things are disabled.

oh i understand, it is kj77's lineage 15.0 alpha 2 build. i will give a shot to this rom thanks for responding.
also i am curious, do you add special code when you build to prevent these issues?
With kj's 15.1 you just need to add persist.sys.force_highendgfx=true because the first one is already build in due to go optimization.
If you are using my latest 15.1 goedition you need to add ro.config.low_ram=true the second one is already build in.
Last but not least if you are unsing my latest 15.1 unoffical build you need to add both into your build.prop.
kj does build without jack that causes timekeeping and telephony problems, while i complie with jack.
Apart of this and my optimizations and fixes, there are no differences because both 14.1 and 15.1 based on his given sources.

yeah i know these, but i am using android 8.0, which has not go property built in. i am curious how you made it to 7.1
Ah if you using alpha 2 you need to add both, sorry did not read that befor, my fault.
I did not build that in, its an feature since kitkat times so the code is given you just need to activate it.
Since oreo you have the option to build the rom with go optimization by default, but also here the code is given just need to activate it.
Why its not working can not say, to be honest, did not test early alpha builds.

No problems, just quick test dailer and calendar, its working. Remember if you're comming from an other rom to do an full wipe, so the question did you do it?

Yes,I have clean flash,I wiped everything, then flash root,for root I use addonsu14.1 from lineage extra site, next xposed and I don't flash gapps. I'm trying dialer, messages and calendar from yalp. Clean install don't have calendar
Thats strange, tested stock dailer and lineage calendar both working without fc, can you provide logcat? You can get it via adb or if you're rooted via matlog app from playstore.

I m writing about Google dialer,Google calendar,and Google messages, not about stock. Linege calendar? I don't have it,I don't have calendar after flash
Will comes in next update, rr is a mess which you can also see in nougat version, need to add missing and remove double things... Its my first time with rr, so i need time to get used to it.
Why the google dailer, messanger and calendar not working, can not say, maybe because of missing gapps but more can i say if you provide logcat.

First impression of this ROM:
Quick, no lags and solid overall! Still need to get used to 8.1 though.
I used the OpenGApps Nano for the phone, I used the attached GApps also but I missed that First use wizard and other things. Everything seems to be working fine for now?
Haven't tested much yet, but thank you for doing this.
EDIT: Also, from what it looks like, OpenGApps Nano seems to be working very well, no FC, no anything for now. I even downloaded Google Calendar app and it works well with no FC. Might be a "no-GApps" issue.
There are a few very small bugs here and there, but for now - everything is great! And I might even argue that the performance is better than the previous old RR build.
Will keep exploring though - root not asking any access confirmation (like previously) is strange, though (used that 14.1 su zip).

Sure! Like I said, for now seems like OpenGApps also works well, if needed.
