I just had an update pop up for 8.1.0 but I'm not sure if I should. I would like to root soon and worry it'll stop any root exploits.

Nokia 7 Plus has 8.1.0 pre-installed already, and no it wont stop any root exploits because we currently have no root exploits for this phone

It was most likely a security update, the Nokia 7+ came out of the factory with 8.1.0.

Its more than likely it will be on the P10 and it will most likely be on the P9 as well but probably not till the end of the year.

Hey, IF i were you I'd download firmware finder app, from store. That can find the offical updates, which arent available from system update ye't. I've tested it and it works like charm! :victory:

Nothing for the C703B152.
Hi im starting to go insane trying to root and upgrade this phone. I tried to see if i could get the update to nougat via ota but no luck there.
I've googled this software version but can't find any info on it. I tried lg up flashing the tot file to upgrade but but it fails with an error and reboots the phone .
Here is a picture of my phones info. How do i upgrade H83010fr to Nougat? Id really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Yea same here. I read somewhere that T-Mobile did something with the bootloader or something like that.
I have the same problem. Bought a supposedly new LG G5 Tmobile from Amazon and it has software version H83010fr which is android 6.0. Has anyone figured something out? Any way to install Nougat? Please help.

I have read an artice about Huawei updating P30 PRO to Harmony OS. I wasn't written if update is optional or it will be updated automaticaly. I am asking because i want to buy this phone second hand and i do not want to lose Google play services...

like all system updates it is optional, updating likely wont make you lose gms as harmony os is just android 10 on 2020 November security patch

Iv been using the he firmware for a couple weeks now and it seems to be working better than any other firmware so far, I've had no issues with it all. The full firmware for it is also on mirrors.lolinet.com as well.

Ooofff sorry to hear that mate. I have not been using gpay and did not notice it. Though there are some folks that say the update to the beta version has fixed the issue with gpay. Hope it gets fixed for you soon!
