I would pay a premium price for a good DLNA streaming application for my WP7. Anyone writing one??
There is the DLNA app for LG devices.
Somewhere on this forum someone has cracked them to work on all other devices, so you could try searching for that?
Isn't DLNA hardware based with software ? If I understand it correctly, you need hardware AND software to enable DLNA

DLNA is a protocol - its a superset of UPNP.

Thanks, but I`m not interested in cracked software or jailbreaking devices. I want a "proper" application available on the marketplace.

In that case you won't get it until at least mango, as there is no support for sockets
Link Cabinet for IS12T (Fujitsu-Toshiba)
Recently released IS12T have DLNA function which called "Link Cabinet".
I predict its function by concidering existing Toshiba's other smart phone or MS's official DLNA client applications :
And I investigated IS12T on au's showcase, I found "Link Cabinet" seems to be DLNA rendering application.
au commited they won't enclose their own application (Japanese carier offtenly try to exclude other users by original features), so the Link Cabinet might be released for general.

I'd love to see a DLNA app, too. I'm running Mango, and would be happy to test one out. Now that Mango is close, I hope someone will step up and suggest they've got a solution.
i would love to see it built in, as well in zune software.

I searched in zune for this app and could not find it. Are you sure of its name?
I have an LG phone. The DLNA app is called "Play To". And according to LG, it is "strongly associated with Windows 7 (desktop)". So that means it will not stream to anything else, including xbox, blu-ray players, etc. -Almost- useless.
Hopefully Mango allows for a proper robust DLNA application.

Hi,
after I installed Mango 7720, my Zune software (version 4.8) displays a message that "WPD Application" should be closed before Zune can sync my music etc. I really have no clue what this "WPD Application" is, I searched in the task manager but there is nothing similar...
What has to be done to get it working again? Restarting the computer does not help.
Thanks in advance!

I don't quite understand you.
Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this thread BUT, here in South Africa we have DSTV, our Digital Satellite TV. They have a Mobile App for Android on Google Play: .
This application works on the following devices, running Android 2.2, 2.3, 3.x and 4: http://apps.dstvmobile.com/decoder
Play store says this app will work on my phone, and it states its for 2.3. I have the HTC Evo 3D, which i imported. These DSTV developers (so they called) make this app specific to different HTC's, they have a supported phones list. I ave NO idea why they do this as it is Android 2.3??
I REALLY Need someone to unlock this app for the Evo 3D, when i install the app and RUN it, the states this:
"Your Android Device is not supported by this application" It seems to do a server check before this message check.
Please let me know your thought or where to post this?
Thanks guys!
I think I might have a solution but I cant do it right at the moment, but when I get a chance I will

I don't have an answer, but you can try AirDroid. Its a free app that lets you wirelessly send things to/from your phone or just access the phone's memory in general.
