Hi, I use both stock Email app and Gmail with Gmail set as my default Email app, however when I click an email link it still open it with new email in the stock email app not Gmail
I'm on stock firmware, Honor v10 EU version
Looking for some folks if they can test and see if they got same behavior and what could be the fix

Yes ' I already set it but still not working ?
My default is Gmail but not working
Switch to default save & switch back to gmail
Faced the same issue. Just switch your default email app to honour's default email app, save and change it back to Gmail.
That should fix the issue.
Got fixed for me.

It's seem that some guys managed to run the Galaxy Tab email app (which is pretty nice) on other devices, does anybody tried this on Nexus One ?
On mine, if i setup my email adress with the stock app and then install the SGT one, i can see and read all my mail, but i have a FC with almost every action (i.e. try to write new mail, go to landscape mode, ..).
Here is the log of the error :
"ERROR/AndroidRuntime(5381): Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown URL content://com.sec.badge/apps"
I'm pretty new in Android dev, so i don't really know how to fix it .
Does someone have an idea ?

I'd love to see the Galaxy Tab email client ported to the Nexus One, lots of nice features that we don't have in regular gmail.

But the main problem might be that this app is using some Samsung libraries, so making it work on another environment is that simple :/
when i open a new text message, i start to type the name of the contact i want to send a message to - but no contacts are avaliable to select.
i now have to add a contact manually.
how to get auto add contact when i start to type their name?

On the stock messaging app I don't think this is possible. You have to create a contact first, or just enter the phone number into the address field.
Not sure about the messaging apps for HTC sense and other UIs. They may allow you to create a contact from within the app.

Are you using the stock keyboard?
I had the exact same issue when using fingerkeyboard and swype.
Had a few ROMs (Older admittedly) that didn't support this too but that's beyond my comprehension i'm sorry.

Hmm weird but Gmail has been updated since this so you might wana update

I have tried a full factory reset, clearing cache from recovery, running earlier versions, changing
default browser (which seems to be involved with the strange login the app uses), clearing
and disabling stored passwords.
I am using a stock Idol 3, 5.5 in., 6045I. Not rooted, latest updates. No problems with other apps.
I was able to login with this phone with Android 6.0.1. Whatever caused the problem did not start
with the update.
I have no problem logging in with other phones, included two running Android 6 and one
running Android 4.
Any suggestions? Is anyone using the Starbucks app with a 6045I?

Hello guys, I wanted to know if any of you have problems getting notifications in particular those of WhatsApp because despite having given all the permissions to all the apps to make no mistake and even having eliminated in the settings the energy saving to all apps Diffi cult notifications arrive when the phone is on standby and if the phone arrives it does not emit any sound or vibration but only in some cases it notifies the screen. 3. Turn off all apps that have this icon
4. In the application information, click Notifications.
5. Click Group Notifications and Message Notifications, and set as urgent.
6. In Gmail you can do this for every email you've entered into the app.
