Im unable to access bootloader/recovery mode after unlocking bootloader with volume down+power button, used twrp option to reboot to bootloader, but now i flashed stock recovery and this system image, device bootlooped and im unable to access bootloader, i hold the keys but instantly that warning screen comes up, please ..started using android since 2010 with HTC desire HD and never in my life i stepped in service center because those devices were brick proof, looks like honor made me step into service center finally
When the warning screen comes up just keep holding the buttons - it takes a while and threw me off at first too

I just got the google nexus s 4g phone and im trying to root it but i cant get into bootloader mode? Ive tried both volume up and power and volume down and power and it just boots to main screen. Is there something i have to do first to get into bootloader mode that i missed or something?
Nop, just press volume up, and while keeping it pressed hit power.
To add to that, make sure you keep them held down because even letting off slightly early just brings up the Google screen. At least in my case.
Not to mention the phone needs to previously be off
Since you're going to be unlocking it you're going to be using fastboot once you get there. Boot the phone up normally and make sure usb debugging is on if it isnt. adb reboot bootloader
Hi
I have been helping a friend repair their phone after it got water damaged
THe battery has been replaced and the phone boots and can go into Android
I have since Unlocked the bootloader
Installed TWRP
Rooted it
Installed a Cusom Rom
And installed a Custom Kernel with no issue.
So In my eyes this Phone is 100% working
The Problem i am stuck with is that whenever the phone is turned on it goes straight into the Bootloader screen and the Option bit on the top (Start, Recovery, Reboot BootLoader and Power off)
Constantly scrolls through each option as though the volume key is being pressed
if i press the power button as each option appears the phone will boot into the option i have chosen
While in Android all the buttons work correctly.
Vol up and Down and the power either going to sleep or bringing up the power menu.
Any ideas would be a great help
Probably HW related, but not sure

Try updating to the latest bootloader. But I assume the buttons get stuck sometimes. Try smacking the buttons s a couple of times. Hope that works.
My moto g was attempting to install lollipop on my rooted 4.4 and i idiotically wiped all my data through TWRP (?) and rebooted my phone with no OS even when i was warned By a warning screen. Now my phone is stuck on the white unlocked bootloader screen and when i hold down the power button and the volume down button, it just goes back to the unlocked bootloader screen. Can i do anything? Idc about any data on it but id love just my stock phone working. Thanks for any help.

If you are still facing the problem, press & hold power + vol down button. It will turn your phone off briefly for 2-3 seconds & immediately again press & hold power + vol down button for about 5 seconds. Release it & this should take you to bootloader. And since you flashed twrp you might be familiar with pushing & flashing a rom from recovery.
**Edit** I managed to fix it. I'm an idiot. My case was preventing me from pressing/holding the buttons well. In a list ditch effort while setting up my OG Pixel XL i took the case off my oneplus 7 and the button combinations worked.
Can't get into recovery mode or bootloader mode. I believe I bricked it while trying to get newest OTA installed. OTA was failing so I was trying to return my phone to completely stock. Everything was fine until I hit complete uninstall on magisk and it rebooted my phone. I'm using magisk 19.2, newest stable release.
The only thing I see now is the one plus power on logo, then message about bootloader being unlocked. Pressing volume up+power button will get the phone to power on but never loads to bootloader mode, only a black screen after the warning screen about having an unlocked bootloader shows.. Volume down+power and volume up/down+power do nothing.
Any advice on this would be appreciated before I send it in for an RMA
Hello Guys/Ladies
I own a oppo neo 7 (a33f) . I messed up my phone by replacing some files at root/system/bin . After replacing the files suddenly the screen of the phone started flashing (it turns on then goes black repeatedly) and also I am not able to press anything on screen.
And now where the real problem begins ,
this phone is so old that it doesn't have volume up volume down or power button (all physically broken)
and the battery got dead :crying: I tried using different things to press the buttons so I can make it into recovey mode (I can still press the volume buttons using pin but no chance with power key ) but still no chance.
Is there any way to make it boot into recovery mode without using the power button and yes I have a working pc with adb and platform tools but the phone is locked so adb prints "unauthorized device" I cant even turn on the device. I tried plugging it in charger and it works, the charging animation shows.
I have the stock rom that I can flash, I am not able get into recovery without power key.
Please help!
Thanks, in advance.
