Huawei backup app any good? - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

I want to relock my phone but I know doing so will wipe it. If I use the included Huawei backup app, will it restore all my settings, apps, data, etc?

Wipe user data without factory reset?

Hi everyone!
I want to backup my rom, and share it, but I don't want to do a factory reset, because if I do it, it will delete my links, and removes su files.
So is there a way to wipe all personal data, and cache?
Thanks!

No one?
Is there any app or something what can do it?
I use link2sd, and if I reset the phone, the links are gone, apps gone, settings gone, su, busybox, etc all gone.
I made lots of tweaks, what make my phone stable, and fast, so I don't want to wipe apps, and its settings, just my personal data only, e.g. Phone nums, sms, account.
Any suggestions?

[Q] save app cache ??

I need a way to backup app cache and restore it automatically after reboot
If you referring to App Data, you should use titanium backup for all the apps you would like to backup.

Backup and reset

This is my first android phone and I don't have much clue. I'm on stock and non-rooted. I would like to do a factory reset, which mean I have to backup right ? How do I backup the contacts, sms, whatsapp messages, and app and restore back to what it is like before ?
Thank you.
If you're going to reset, Your Complete data will be gone including your Storage..
in This Case you Have make a backup of your data.
Copy your data from moto storage to ur PC that's the way!
If You want to backup you App data then Try helium data backup app. (google it).

Proper way to backup system, apps and settings

Since I just got stuck with a broken nightly on cyanogenmod I wanted to ask for a solid way to backup the system, apps and all settings of my device (which is a HTC one S ville).
I thought about backing up my cyanogenmod system with TWRP?
Is TWRP able to backup all the apps and app settings? Does it also include for exmple Tasker profiles?
What is a backup app like titanium for? Do I even need it if I back up frequently with TWRP?
Thanks in advance
The twrp backup is an exact image of all your partitions: cache, boot, system and data including the file system. It'll contain everything you have on your phone except sdcard. It's downside is that you cannot restore only a specific app or it's data, you have to restore all of them.
Titanium Backup on the other side, backups the apps and data and allows separate restore for each app.
If you do frequent twrp backups and you would restore everything at once, you don't need TB

Can I use a backup app to restore my installed apps after rooting/flashing my phone?

I was asking earlier about how to make a list of all the apps I have installed, so that when I root my Note 4 (which involves wiping the phone), I can go through the list and easily remember which apps I should reinstall. But someone suggested just using a backup app like Helium, and then restoring them once I root my Note 4.
Will that actually work? Can I just use a backup app like Helium or Titanium or MyBackup, backup all my installed apps and their user data, then root/wipe the phone, reinstall said backup app, and I'll be able to restore all the apps I have installed, and they'll just work?
And if so, does it include things like user data for each app like configuration options and locally stored saved games? Can I go through the list and only restore the apps that I really want, unchecking all the ones I don't want reinstalled?
