Can I charge my Vernee Apollo Lite with a 3.1a charger? - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
I've bought this little guy to charge my phone in my motorcycle, and it outputs 5V 3.1A:

Can I safely use it to charge my Vernee Apollo Lite?
While searching the matter I found two opinions:
A) The phone will only drain the necessary amount from the charger, thus the higher amperage doesn't matter, as long as the voltage is equal.
B) The phone will be "addicted" to the higher amperage and won't charge properly with the regular charger anymore.
Which one is true?
Thanks!

From my experience, when I use a fast charger (has 2.1 Amps compared to 1 Amp from regular chargers), on a phone that does not support fast charging, it makes no difference. Only the phones that can support fast charging will utilize the fast charging charger. So it would make no difference if you are using a higher amp charger. Option A is your answer.

How charge Mate 8 normally instead of quick charge?

Hi.
There was a (little big) charger inside phone box and there is " HUAWEI QUICK CHARGE " label on it.
When I charge my phone with this charger it will get hot and fully charge takes about 45 min.
Now how can I have a normal charge instead of quick charge?
I couldn't find any option in the phone to switch between normal charge and quick charge.
Here some details of the charger:

"When I charge my phone with this charger it will get hot and fully charge takes less that 40 min."
This of course is completely impossible
Any way, how can I charge my phone normally?
Just use a normal wall charger, I'm using my old LG charger while charging at night ... you don't need to set quickcharge or something else ...
Or use a crappy usb-cable. Or simply keep on using Fast Charge, which doesn't overheat the phone, here, at all.
So there isn't any problem if I charge Mate 8 with my Xperia Sp or other charger? (OUTPUT : 5.0 VDC - 850mA)
Why there isn't an option to switch between normal and quick charge? (That's too bad).
No, there's no problem when using a different charger.
Why do you want an option? I dont understand ... what would be the benefit of such an option?
Quick charger would damage battery in long usage, wouldn't it?
nope
OK.
Thanks.

Alternative N910 Battery Charger

Hi guys! Greetings
So since my phone hasn't able to do fast charging (and I did all possible available options, like use new cables, change the charger, changing the new flexy charge, clean the stock micro port USB on stock flexy charge, checked the settings to turn on the fast charging, bought a new battery with same capacity, and so on). And all these options don't solve my issue, I even went to repair shop which they only replace the flexy charge to a new one (they guarantee it is original and not some chinese-look-like).
But I had in my mind that something on my IC is damaged or has a faulty power management. Maybe. I've had discussion last month in this forum too. I'm frustrated with normal charging like I should wait for six hours to complete full battery. The math didn't do the right thing. If 3220 mAh divide by 1667 mA (I got this number from a stock Samsung charger), it should be around 2 hours. But apparently, I've come up with a new idea. I bought a desktop charger which comes like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It needs to connect through an adaptor that outputs 1A. And connects it into the desktop with micro USB. It's practical and easy to use. It's a good accessories.
My questions is:
1) Do you guys know alternative charger that similar in this photo? Maybe that could output more than 1A. Or any other option, so I could charge my battery without plug it in my phone.
I don't like use extended battery that exceeds capacity of a stock battery. I fear that it could damage my phone for some reason

Extend Your Battery Life with a Portable Charger [Oculus Quest 2]

After getting my Oculus Quest 2, one of the most obvious drawbacks was the battery life. If I wanted to play longer in between charge times, I needed to find a good solution. One thing you can do is plug your headset into the wall with a long cord, while you play. This works, but it restricts your movement and can come unplugged very easily. So here is the solution I came up with.
I started using a portable USB C charger to power my headset when it gets low. The charger can sit in my pocket while I continue to play. The first charger that I used only slowed the discharge time. It wasn't charging my headset while I was playing. This is because most portable chargers use a 5W output. The Oculus Quest 2 can take a 15W charge. So I upgraded to the RavPower 18W Power Bank. This product has enough power output to charge my headset while I keep playing.

I thought I'd share this info here, so other people can know what type of portable charger they need to get. Here is a link to the exact charger that I am using now. I can get two full charges out of this power bank, while gaming. This will extend the battery life of my Oculus Quest 2, to basically last all day. The charger has two ports [1x USB-A, 1x USB-C]. I use it with the same charging cable that the headset came with, which is the right length to fit into my pocket without being too long.
I'm sure other brands will work just as well. Just make sure that your power output is over 15W and it's small/light enough to fit into your pocket.

Not every rom support fast charge. You need ask to developer about fast cgarging.
1 not all the roms support fast charge
2 if the cable or the charger are not xiaomi certified wont charge using turbo charge
3 get always originals parts to can use all the xiaomi features
